“So excited to make this a regular date night spot. Our group really enjoyed all the food we order including the fideos, tinta negra, almendrado, pincho de pollo, pescado, and so much more. Chris our server was wonderful. The Victoria beer and my mango margarita were perfect. My only critique if at all of the restaurant is for the pasta dishes to have a hair less salt (and I like my food on the saltier side so that says a lot). We can’t believe we waited this long to try it but we can’t wait to go back“

“My friends, family and I visit the River Inn often. We just visited it again Labor Day Weekend 2026. Once again, we were impressed. They present great food, the Staff is friendly and helpful and, it looks like they have expanded/remodeled. I like their outdoor serving facilities and waiting courts. It's awesome and ingeniouse!“

“No pun intended, but it is refreshing to have this in Maple Plain. It's right next to Fork Less. It gives me a better, healthier, option than the c-store. I stopped in for a protein shake, key lime, and was impressed with the size of the shake and the outstanding flavor. Around 200 calories and 24g of protein, plus vitamins and minerals. That covered lunch today. Next time just might be a T-Bomb or iced coffee.“

“Inside the bar there is music playing with dart boards and lots of places to sit and outside there are a variety of volleyball courts , and outdoor bar with swings to sit at surrounding the bar and also music outside . This place is busy all the time !“

“Great Irish/American comfort food on the menu. Irish Rolls were great, Shepherd Pie, and Meatloaf all done so well. Met Chef James at Twins game and made a special short 20 minute trip out from our downtown hotel. Food was worth the trip, staff was absolutely great and friendly. We brought our pup with us, plenty of outdoor sidewalk and patio seating, and a water dish provided. Will be back again.“

“My Best friend came in from Maryland & wanted fish. I had never been here before but heard they had good seafood. So glad we decided to give it a try. A really cute place, clean, nice outdoor seating area and super friendly staff. We both had the Walleye dinner. Wow, it was the Best Walleye I’ve ever had !! Compares to ; Grandma’s in Duluth. Finally a place near us that’s Fabulous!! Everything people ordered around us also looked super tasty !! My friend agreed & said Whenever I come home, we’re going here!! “The point of this place is to get drunk and socialize, and you can absolutely accomplish that here. They've ruined the atmosphere with the stage they added a few years back for bands. I know the intention was good, but bands could fit a smaller footprint without the stage, and it's a single room that absolutely does not need elevation. We played there for years, and having room for people to dance made the experience wonderful. Those days are gone.“

“Friends who live in the area took me out for dinner at Roberts. I selected a starter for my meal as I wasn't that hungry. Ordered the quesadillas. They were dine but I was perplexed with the sides of lettuce, tomatoes, etc...that more like salad components. They certainly couldn't be added to the quesadillas easily. I asked for some ranch dressing and made a side salad. Some tortilla chips and or some frioles would have been a better accompaniment. Sam, our server was an absolute delight. Give that young man a raise. Atmosphere was quiet and we could converse easily.“

“I can’t say enough positive things about the catering at the Maple Grove location. I had ordered sloppy joes for my Labor Day weekend camping trip. When I went to cook the meat, I discovered that they had given me taco meat instead. Which was, of course, disappointing. I called them the next day to let them know, and they couldn’t have been more apologetic and accommodating. No excuses were made. They just asked how they can make it right. I told the catering manager that all I really wanted were the sloppy joes and he insisted that he provide a side of my choice;anything I wanted. They made it all available for me the very next day and added mac and cheese to my order. When I arrived, the manager greeted me and asked me if there was anything else I might need. Customer service!! That is so rare these days and goes a long way!! I will continue to go to Hy-Vee because of the way I was treated! And all of the food was delicious!! Highly recommend!“
