“Headed to the Brookside bar and Grill with my sister and my brother-in-law. It is warm and cozy inside this pub. Beer was delicious with many choices, the food was also very good, and our server was Rosie, who was one of the owners. The atmosphere was very warm with two TVs above the bar, and a very large outdoor area that is open during the summer with live music. It was great conversation between the three of us as we ate our early dinner and enjoyed our beers. There is definitely a plan to come back during the summer months and enjoy the outdoor music and the large patio and back. If you're ever visiting along the St. Croix river between Minnesota and Wisconsin, I suggested you visit this beautiful bar and grill and enjoy a good meal. Say 'Hi' to Rosie for me!“

“The duck wontons are all that… not so bacony, but almost like creamed corn on the inside. Waiter was nice as well. Kept putting water on the table, though, so I kept drinking it because he expected me to. The people next to us looked at me weird after the fifth, but they kept coming so ??. Mac and cheese was bomb, fries were good, a little oniony which I loved. The drinks are big. Old fashioned comes with a waffle and candied bacon and in a smoky jar! $70 for 2 people is eek though. Especially when we split our main dish…“

“Went for breakfast on March 9th, the atmosphere was great, and the food was AMAZING and tasted so, so good. Overall, we were so happy and satisfied with the more than happy to give this place high reviews. The only negative side to this story was that the waitress who served us did not seem happy that we chose to eat there. She barely greeted us and even asked about the specials. She simply pointed to the whiteboard and told us they were listed on the board and then walked away. When taking out order, she seemed to have an attitude and acted like she did not want to be there. Not one did she come by to check if we needed a refill of coffee or how the meal was. In fact, she did not bother to come by until we flagged down another waitress to get our coffee refill. She did not thank us when we paid for our meal despite getting a $25 tip.Despite all this we would recommend this restaurant for a great atmosphere and wonderful food. We do plan to give this place a second chance on our next trip back.“

“I can't say enough about this place. We came here for my birthday dinner on the recommendation of a relative. I made a reservation and we were seated promptly at a cute window table. Our server made great wine recommendations, based on what we planned to order for dinner and her personal favorites. She took into account any budgetary requirements. The wine was absolutely delightful. We ordered charcuterie, which was just the right amount without taking away our appetite for dinner. The pasta dishes are incredible. Our favorite was the orecchiette which had a Bolognese sauce. The desserts were exactly the right size that we could each order our own and were so delicious. We can't wait to come back!“

“I had a Chocolate Malt from Leo's today. I think it was the best chocolate malt I have ever had, and I have had a lot of them. I honestly don't know what was different about it, but it was amazing. I can't wait to go back and have another one. I wish they had a really big one.“

“You can tell there is a lot of history within the walls of this restaurant and it was packed with locals so that's always a good sign to me. Our waitress was prompt with taking our order, and following up with us later for refills, etc. My husband went with the chicken taco salad and I had the log jammer plate. The shell on the taco salad was nice and crisp and the meat had great seasoning and was moist. My log jammer sandwich was the best prime rib sandwich I had in quite some time, both in the meat being tender & flavorful, as well as the fact that they weren't stingy with the prime rib. The french fries on the side were crisped to perfection.“

“I recently visited for a Saturday lunch, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! Despite being busy, the service was impressively fast, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The only downside was the small interior, which made it a bit loud, especially during peak hours. However, it's perfect for groups of six or under, with an ideal size for 2-4 people. I tried the Lilo burger, which was delicious but quite spicy due to the ghost cheese. My partner opted for the chicken tacos and couldn't stop raving about them. However, the real star of the show was the smoked salt fries - they were absolutely phenomenal! If you're looking for a lively spot for lunch in Stillwater, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It's perfect for a fun day out!“

“Cute cafe. I had dinner here before and it was not my favorite, but the breakfast today was really good. Something that bothered me today was that one of the staff, a male cashier, purposely photo bombed multiple photos, that another (very nice female busser) was taking of my partner and I. It was unprofessional. Thankfully the girl taking the photos continued to take multiple shots and by the last couple photos, he had left.“

“The Monpetit family owns and operates this restaurant/ bar/ campground...They are hard workers and are always on site! They care about their business and it shows! It is one of the most beautiful properties in Somerset! We did Easter brunches, birthdays and get- togethers for dinners! It's extremely easy for seniors and handicap to get in, it's family-friendly...always a family fav.... had my mother's 80th here on sun... back on thurs... great place for all ages!!!@ had grandsons 5 year birthday here.. wonderful service.... great food...“

“Had breakfast on Saturday. They open at 9am, and when we got there at 9:20 the place was packed. Friendly folks. The cook looked all of 18 we braced ourselves for ‘just ok’ food. We could not have been more wrong.His hash browns were crispier and more delicious than most twenty year cooks. The skillet breakfast was ample and amazing. Don't treat this place as a bar restaurant it's not even in the same breath. Long winded I apologize, for starters The lovely waitress offers us warm sugar donuts just as a treat. Spectacular idea. Then we indulged into this heavenly plate of Parmesan fries. I could have just had those and been happy. I had the capper burger. Perfectly cooked wonderfully done personally I'd 86 the ciabata bun for a pretzel bun or traditional bun but it didn't downgrade it at all. my wife had the carbonara... that may have edged out The Post American Eatery .. maybe. It was bursting with flavor absolutely a masterpiece. We ended with some delightful key lime pie. Perfect service perfect food perfect atmosphere. All at 4:00 on a Monday. “Have the bull bite appetizer it was amazing. I had the Prime rib med rare. It was Perfectly cooked. The green beans were yummy. My husband had the 5 piece fish fry. He said it was very good. “Had lunch after our trip on the train. We were with a large group of friends. We were able to call ahead and told them we had a large group and they were able to accommodate us when we got there. The food was fabulous. Had the classic hamburger and it was very good! My husband had the Ruben and he said it was small but very good. Will most definitely come back again.“

“Came in today for breakfast, by far one of the best bar breakfasts I've had in a long time! Ordered a chorizo omelette, hands down the best chorizo I've had in years very comparative to the stuff I ust to get while working down in Texas at the Mexican markets. Bartender was amazing! Wife's bloody and omelette were on point too!“
