Tonight I bought a $5.99 Hot-N-Ready pepperoni pizza. It was hot, delicious, filling, and packed with roughly a full day’s worth of calories.

Here in Minneapolis, minimum wage is $16.37/hour. That means this pizza costs the equivalent of only about 22 minutes of minimum-wage work.

With food prices continuing to rise, I think that deserves some recognition. For less than six dollars, Little Caesars still provides a hot, prepared meal that can feed one very hungry person or help feed a family.

Companies hear plenty when customers are unhappy, so I wanted to say something when I was impressed.

“If you need your party catered, this is the place to go. Staff: Easy to work with, on time, good prices, friendly and very accommodating. Food: Gorgeous/amazing presentation , fresh, hot, professionally packed. I ordered from Red Rabbit in Saint Paul for my work holiday party. Everyone LOVED the food and the portions are generous. “Food, atmosphere, and drinks were all fantastic. The Owner/Chef Joel has created something special at this gem nestled in a Minneapolis neighborhood. We had a large party for a friends pre-wedding dinner and the staff handled it great. From the apps to the desert, you can’t go wrong with anything you pick off the menu. We were all tasting each others food by the end of the night wanting to try EVERYTHING! Some have stated a smaller menu and prices, but then say the food blew them away…I for one like to pay to keep amazing food and ingredients an option. Can’t wait to bring my wife and other family members in the Twin Cities to do it again.“

“I asked about gluten and dairy free items. My server gave me a GF menu as the item I selected was not GF. Manager checks in for any one with allergies. They were able to make my chicken without the sauce. It was delicious. I felt very cared for and heard.“

“Same good service. I had the same delicious burger, but THIS time there was a $4 up charge for a small salad—subbed for chips. (I must have lucked out 3 days earlier.) The check came and it included a large bottle of plain water (not ordered) that was apparently placed on my arrival; then a lady (not my server) filled 2 glasses with the water. (I dined alone.) A manager took the $12 off my bill.“

“Had to ask about something due to an allergy. Waitress immediately brought a Manager to address any questions and they quickly answered any concerns. Because the allergy is to shrimp and my wife loves shrimp they were careful to bring all food on separate trips to avoid cross contamination and were very respectful and polite about the situation. Food came quickly, service was friendly and everything was delicious. It was slow as it was early into dinner so that may have factored into the speed but the attentiveness was impressive. Apologies I didn't get the waitress or manager's names but they did a great job!“

“I come here all the time. It's great food accompanied by a very warm staff. My Brother, Dad, and Me come here so often they have memorized my order. Not only do you get toneat great food, but the atmosphere here is so chill with just enough white noise from them making busy in their kitchen. Would definitely recommend it during 11 to 2 for that cheap all you can eat price as well.“

“I dined at Tavola for dinner recently and ordered a salad topped with salmon. The salad was very fresh and tasty, but the salmon was a tad overdone and the portion was quite small. The old fashioned was very nice, made using an infused bourbon they make in house. The service at the bar was very good. During my meal, there were a number of fruit flies that wouldn't stop bothering me which was a little annoying but all in all, a decent hotel restaurant that I wouldn't mind visiting again.“

“The new Red's Savoy Roseville location in the Lund's/Byerly's strip mall is out of this world. As good, if not better the original Savoy on 7th st. Excellent customer service, and a beautiful clean new location.“

“We ordered Delivery, our order ETA was about 70 minutes. After 10 min past the estimated time, I gave them a call. They explained it was just coming out of the oven. I asked was it normal to have such long Delivery times... The CSR told me that they were short staffed on in house and driver's. It came about 90 minutes total time. The pizza was nice and hot. And the BBQ bone in wings we're really good. It was all around delicious. They are trying their best and the food was good.“

“Hey if you have not sought out a Davanis in a while go here!! The Manager Zack, this guy is just amazing. I order for delivery all the time. One time before Xmas my food was all messed up. I did not complain, it was Xmas and I was feeling joyful and giving. Fast forward to today. Feeling just down, and finances have hit me to the ground. I pulled up to my davanis and told Zack what happened,(I still had photos) explained how sorry I was for not mentioning sooner and without questio. He remade my sandwich and here is the real KICKER.
