“I tried Que Taco for the first time..the location in New Hope off of Bass Lake Road. The handmade tortillas are excellent and the Pozole as one of the best I have had...very authentic. It was so good we went back the next day to try the chilaquiles and machete. All very good!“

“I have been to Pub 42 many times either by myself or with a party up adds of 6 people. The atmosphere is inviting and friendly. We have had the pleasure of having Riley and Iza as our servers on many occasions and I can’t stress how kind and accommodating both of them are, I have celiac disease and they are knowledgeable about the ingredients and the process of the food so that I am safe when eating there. Including the double checking and making sure that my food is gluten free, and with very limited chance of cross contamination. Both do a great job of making sure the food is good and arrives at an appropriate time, while being friendly and kind and connecting with us as patrons. I would recommend pub 42 to anyone and everyone and tell them to request being seated in either Riley or Iza’s section to guarantee them the best of service available.“

“It's Taco Tuesday and I was craving Mexican food, but I didn't just wanna go to the type of place you think of when "Mexican" is brought up... I'm fancy, so I wanted something a bit more upscale. I did a little bit of research and wouldn't you know it... Colita came up. So here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set south of downtown and a bit west of The Mall of America on Penn Avenue is this gem. There is no private parking lot, but plenty of street parking to leave your fly ride. But once you walk up to the restaurant you can immediately understand the message they're trying to send. Everything looks so modern, straightforward with straight lines, grey colors and light woods. There is a small outdoor section where you can dine if you get lucky enough to land a spot there. Inside carries a very similar style with a little nod to the pueblos and architecture of the southwest. The decor is minimalistic and the "loudest" thing in the room is the live plant wall seated directly behind the bar, which was super cool. Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but we had no issues whatsoever. Food/Drink: I was able to try so many different dishes and drinks here and the list is below... 🍹: Xochitl In Love 🍸: La Clandestina 🐟: Tuna Tostada 🌮: Chicken Tinga Tostada 🦪: Seared Scallops 🫓: Tlayuda 🥃: Colita Old Fashioned 🥩: Lamb Barbacoa Tacos 🫔: Duck Tamal However, my favorite things were the Lamb Barbacoa Tacos, Duck Tamal and Seared Scallops, in that order. The food here is phenomenal, the drinks are excellently crafted and things are served tapas style so you don't get too full off of just one thing! Order a whole bunch of stuff and share with the table! Value: As I mentioned earlier, I wanted upscale and the priced dddooo reflect that. Lol. This is a nice place so be prepared to spend... Like you're downtown somewhere. In conclusion, I loved this place and I will come back over and over. Check this place out the next time you're in the area!“

“We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. No matter what plans you have this is the spot to be! A huge thanks to Lake and Irving for all they did for us and a massive thank you to Chris the chef! (although the music was a little bit loud for conversation). I shared the cauliflower tacos and hummus plate and we each had a glass of wine and took the yummy yummy yummy yummy yummy cheesecake home (the cheesecake seemed expensive at the time; but I will purchase it again and again. “An absolutely incredible dining experience

Sanjusan was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in Minneapolis. We went as a group and decided to order almost one of everything on the menu so we could all try as much as possible, and honestly, I don’t think there was a single dish that disappointed.

The Japanese-Italian combination sounds unusual at first, but it works unbelievably well. Every dish had its own unique flavors and textures, and it was so much fun having the entire table try everything together. The small plates, yakitori, pasta, and pizzas were all fantastic.

The Isaac Becker pizza was one of the biggest surprises for me, and the Mentaiko Lumache was another standout. The Hiramasa crudo, pork gyoza, duck tataki, and yakitori were all incredible as well. Even after ordering that much food, we kept finding ourselves saying, “We have to try that too.”

The staff were just as impressive as the food. Everyone was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely excited to walk us through the menu. With a menu this creative, having staff who can actually explain the dishes and make recommendations makes a huge difference.

The atmosphere is fantastic too. It’s stylish, intimate, energetic, and just feels like a place where you’re supposed to sit around with friends, order a bunch of things, and enjoy the entire experience rather than rush through dinner.

Sanjusan absolutely exceeded my expectations. The food is creative without being gimmicky, the service is outstanding, and ordering almost the entire menu with a group turned dinner into an experience we’ll be talking about for a long time.

Easy 5 stars. One of the most memorable meals I’ve had in Minneapolis and a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for something truly unique.“

My partner had to get up from our table and flag down a server for an iced tea refill. “My waiter Addison was great and very attentive. However, the short rib sandwich was over cooked and over priced. On line there were a couple of items that I didn't see on the actual menu while at the restaurant. We were given the lunch menu at the front door, this really confused me, later Addison eventually figured it out. The rest of the experience was nice. The comedy acts were funny, except for the second to last guy, that totally bombed, as part of his act was to call all women bitches. He was poorly prepared, and otherwise was not funny at all, and should not be invited back.“

Locals completely oblivious to the wonders and awes of nature all around them. Because they get to see it every day, well, at least in the summer.“
