“Alary's was a great choice for our Christmas office party. They sectioned off a portion of the bar for our event, servers/bartenders were kind and attentive, and the cherry on top was Hamm's on tap. Thank you for making me look good in front of my coworkers. I recommend this bar for your future work events.“

“Best priced drinks I've seen in a long time, friendly local bar with happy patrons and prompt service from bartender. For food I believe they have Heggies pizzas however it appeared the patrons bring in potluck style food to share with everyone. Pulltab's available too. We were not locals and were treated well“

“Great spot! Casual. Yummy food. Lots of parking. Pricey, as are all places now. Went with a friend. We had 5 drinks between us, two of which were on tap, two appetizers, and one burger. $100. That's the bad news. The good news is that our server (Sally?) Was great. Food was delicious. We had a comfortable booth and we're able to talk privately enough. It is a little loud, fyi. Several tvs.“

“We’ve had 2 pregames here and had excellent food and service both times. Their fried pickle chips are awesome, wings great even sauceless (got dipping sauces on side), walleye fries were great, the only thing we were so so on were the nachos. Fake cheese was blah but otherwise all good! Service excellent, drinks cold.“

“Pho was a bit too salty for me but there was a ton of noodles for the regular size and the meat portions were spot on. The fried pork belly was fried too long and dry for my liking.
The Mongolian Beef was alright and they tenderized it nicely. But it was nothing like their picture on the menu. Though this was the best dish I had there.
Fried pork intestines would be great if they had 2 options, fried until dry (like they are now) or just lightly fried/sauteed. I prefer my intestines more sauteed. It's too dry for my taste but I know some people love their intestines the way they are now.
Service was good and very friendly considering they were busy.
It was my first time here. I was more impressed by the atmosphere and service than the food. If I were to come back, it would only be to take some friends here for the atmosphere/rooms and service. I wouldn't order the same things but maybe something else on the menu like the wings, fried shrimp, curry, etc. Maybe I'll give the pho another shot but just ask for hot water so I can water it down some.“

“They only have Heggies pizza. Always good in a pinch. Went for the Vikings game. Crowd was into the game. And when the Vikings score a touchdown you get a Grape Ape! Lots of bar games to choose from. So if you're not watching the game then go for the beer it's double up for a buck. And take advantage of some of their bar games. Will definitely go back.“

“Our kitchen is open. We focus on serving high quality, freshly made to order bar food, with a twist. We offer food specials as well as surprise Gourmet chef specials. We have awesome Bloody Mary's one of the best I've had. We offer drink specials 2 4 1s on domestic beer and premium rails. Our neighborhood is being revamped which is awesome for the bar and community. So if your looking for a cool neighborhood dive bar with awesome staff and great food come Check out The Saint Paul Saloon. P.s The owner is on site and loves to interact with the patrons of the bar.“

“A classic Saint Paul neighborhood bar, with simple grub yet so affordable, a mix of Asian and American. All served as takeaway but you can eat it there if you want and the portions are gigantic. There's bingo two nights a week, a Friday afternoon meat raffle, and pulltabs/etabs. Locals are the majority of the clientele but for all its grittiness, it's a safe place with patrons who care about the establishment! Watch out for the parking lot. It's a dirt lot minefield of potholes that will destroy your transmission of you go faster than 1 mph.“

“Don’t understand why there are customers that need to be shouting and yelling inside a family restaurant? No. Not children. Grown adults. This isn’t a barn.
ANYWAY, besides this, food was good. Veggies could’ve been thrown away for fresher ones. The lettuce on my husbands burger was… old and edges were brown. I had the fiesta lime chicken. Rice was dryyyyy but chicken was good.
We were there during dinner so our server was busy but when she did stop by, she was very polite. Overall good experience except for the bafoon talking loudly.“

“Went for Bingo. It was fun, and the caller was great. The mini tacos were not good. It was just meat fried in a corn tortilla and a side of sour cream. For $13 it would have been nice to have a little salsa and shredded lettuce or cheese plated with it. Service was fine.“

“Understaffed since Covid and can't really seem to get their footing back. This means service is pretty meh. Food is iffy, sometimes good, sometimes meh. Never bad, thankfully. Can be kind of expensive, esp if you get drinks outside of happy hour.“
