“We ordered the French onion soup, the French onion sandwich and the Tennessee hot chicken sandwich. Each had a side of frites and it was AMAZING. Everything was so fresh and absolutely perfect. Service was a little on the slower side for a Tuesday but over all amazing.“

“This is a great little ice cream shop! The ice cream was delicious and hit the spot. I like how they also have non-dairy options and an assortment of some summertime foods. The service was good and fast. There is also plenty of seating around this area to relax and enjoy your treat!“

“What a great place!!! I have been twice, coffee drinks were great - and the live music was so fun. Shows are all ages - so we've brought our 10 & 12 year old and they've had a great time! Thanks for giving the Twin Cities a COOL place for families to hang out without costing $$$“
“Tasty unique cocktails. I think they should bring some food back though, I can drink more when I am eating! All the musical acts were good, especially Fenix Dion. The sound was fine for my ears, but I think the shape of the room made it hard for my phone to get good video.“

“Highlights are Belgian-style beers and wood-fired pizza. Plenty of space for groups to gather inside or outside (dog-friendly patio). If you're not inclined to beer, there's wine, mocktails, cocktails, THC bevs and house-made root beer.Saint Paul Brewing has continued to develop their variety of flavors and I can't wait to see what they do next.“

“I wish everything up on the hill were as perfect as Nina's. On a weekday morning this place is packed with people from all walks of life. A lot of students park here and take up tables just with them and their laptops which is my only gripe. Prices are reasonable. Be prepared to wait a bit for drinks because it is very popular.“
“Waldmann Brewery is an amazing location with great food, amazing lager style beers, and a wonderful historic location. If any of those things appeal to you, this is your place. The staff are friendly and the events they host are great (Oktoberfest, St Nikolaus evening, german New Year's Eve), and the Biergarden is authentic and relaxing, even during the winter.“

“Was looking for a pizza place in the area for lunch and stumbled upon this gem. Saw that they had cheesesteaks on the menu and got a cheesesteak instead. Went back the following day for a Margherita pizza. Both experiences were phenomenal and will definitely be back.“

“Fantastic little coffee shop with a great atmosphere, delicious menu and neat merchandise all at reasonable pricing and easy in and out access! The service there has always been phenomenal and prompt with a friendly greeting. The cinnamon roll twists are deliciously simple and my Redbull infused flavor drink is great. We've purchased a few coffee cups from there as well with neat branding. Will definitely be back!“
“I came for the West Side Popper Smoked Jalapeño Cream Ale after seeing it on Facebook. I had a "sword" (4-drink flight), and enjoyed each of my beers. My flight consisted of West Side Popper, Basement Ghost West Coast IPA, Altbier, and CDL Required Czech Dark Lager.“

“Lovely brunch! Try the spicy apricot mimosa, it is delightful! Great eggs Benedict with a luscious light hollandaise sauce and a nice piece of thick-cut ham. The classic Bloody Mary gets two thumbs up too! Service is always friendly, warm, and unobtrusive. Can’t wait to go back!“

“A very friendly place, with a different and varied menu and good coffee, unfortunately oat milk was requested because my friend is lactose intolerant, we paid extra for that special request and the waiter was asked again not to have whole milk and he assured that no, unfortunately that requirement was not met and my friend suffered the neglect of it.“

“The food is flavorful and the atmosphere fun. Staff is helpful. There is an accordion player who moves about the rooms and adds a nice ambiance to the dining experience.Loose one star though for the additional add on "fees" which are not inclusive of the automatic tip, both of which are unnecessary this day in age as it's actually easier to manage a table of twelve than six tables of two. Also, rather than adding addional fees, just price the food at an amount that reflects the cost of running the restaurant. Customers shouldn't be expected to do "math problems" when going out for a meal. Also, strange arbitrary rule about check splitting limit which caused additional confusion at the end of a wonderful delicious meal. Again, splitting a check at a large table is no different than having several smaller tables, and in fact may reduce overall tipping in the aggregate. Other than the financial experience, this would be a 5-star restaurant.Recommended.“

“Love the ambiance and vibe of this establishment and so did everyone else as it was a full house! All of their food was restaurant recipes and not frozen food type if you know what I mean and I wanted to try everything on the menu! We narrowed it down to their wings, I was skeptical of chicken thigh style wings but pleasantly surprised they were amazing, lightly battered and meaty!!! The burgers were double patty, fresh bakery buns and delicious; side choices house made chips or fries. Guests next to me had fresh battered fish and the cheese curds, they gave two thumbs up too and said they do date night here every week❤️ Service was friendly and professional and a little slower to take our food order but again they were slammed not their fault. Food came out promptly. Now onto the drinks, they had a house beverage list with plenty of options but I will say for $12-$13 a drink that came with a huge ice cube I had it devoured in a few sips; I’d like more bang for my buck here and due to that I refrained from ordering another drink and resorted to a beer. I can’t wait to come back and try everything on the food menu! Desserts I was too full for but nice house made options.“

“Outstanding food, service, and atmosphere. Love the rigatoni. Specials are difficult to turn down. If you go after 4 pm, you can get a pannekoken. And they often have music after 5 pm. You may need reservations in the evening. When the weather is good, they have a wonderful outside eating area.“

“Heard about them on the local news and my local neighborhood FB page. Had to give them a try. Delicious food. Ordered the Alex and the Minnesota Chickena and Wild rice. The pies were so good and pastry was so light. Also tried their French fries and was not disappointed. Was fun to try something new and support a local restaurant.“

“We order from Black Market because the food is amazing. Yesterday we hosted a 40 person couples baby shower (BaByQ) and served Black Market brisket, ribs, mac&cheese and of coyrse their amazing beans (almost more meat than beans). The shower was successful and people raved about the food!! Jill was so wonderful to work with throughout the process. What an extraordinary experience!!“

“Always a fantastic breakfast experience at Ze’s Diner! The omelet selection is impressive, and each option is cooked to perfection. The homemade berry jam added a delightful touch to the toasts, complementing the freshly brewed coffee beautifully. It’s clear why this spot remains one of our favorites. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality breakfast!“

“Nice place! If you live in the area it’s easy to walk to. If you’re in the area for the farmers market, it’s also east to walk to! I recommend the maple cold brew and croissant club sandwich. Each time I have been in for coffee the barista verifies my drink changes to be sure it’s being made right. I really appreciate this!“
“From out of town and have made several visits over the past few years. Popular place and close enough to the Arena to get pre and post hockey and concert crowds.Ample outside seating. No food. LOVED the Haze Oasis which had not been available on previous visits. Of course will be back.“

“Their specials are amazingly low priced (as is their regular menu). Love their Coney Dogs (on special 3 days a week for $8.50 for 2 dogs and fries) and the M-F burger basket for $8. This place is a classic bar, the oldest continuously operating bar in Minnesota I believe. Decor is classic, has a tin ceiling, classic beer signs and the like. It can get really busy at times, super crowded l, as a random Saturday where I went in for Coney Dogs- the place was overflowing with bikers standing all over the place. It can also get really loud- I felt like I probably got hearing damage from the raucous noice levels of the bikers. The place is great overall. Staff is friendly, decent selection of beers mostly focused on people pleasing domestics and some craft beers (they are in the Pub Pass too). Check it out for some tasty bar food, just be aware you may have to change your mind and walk across the street to Mac's if the place is elbow to elbow busy.“
