“Yes, hyvee prices are higher than nearby competitors (this is my main draw back and why I'm rating the store only four stars). However, the store has a much wider selection. Take for example today when I needed a small salmon fillet. I checked at an unspecified nearby grocery store with considerably lower prices, but was unable to find what I needed. Any other day I would have found an alternative to save me the trip to another store, but with a wild adolescent weasel roaming my basement, I was not willing to risk it. Thankfully Hyvee had exactly what I needed-4oz salmon fillets are sold at their seafood counter! (fingers crossed the salmon works. Otherwise I'll need to find another way to lure out the vermin) One things for sure, next time I have to get bait for a wild animal in my house, I'll save myself the time and go to hyvee right away!“

“First time here. Made a reservation. Hosts there don't seem like they want to be there. The waitresses were friendly. You walk in and it doesn't seem like a restaurant, layout is weird. Looks like an ice cream shop. Then they take you to the dining and you see pink panther stuffed animal decor.The bread that comes with the dinner salad was pretty decent. Got the ravioli appetizer. A little bland on the inside but the sauce and outside were decent.Service was a little slow and the pop was flat. Great portion for the pasta. Had leftovers for the next day. Deep dish pizza was good and very filling.It was a good try at something new but I probably won't go back.“

I didn’t realize how hard it would be to find somewhere that had more than one option for her for a treat. I called here to confirm multiple options. SO HELPFUL and so friendly about our dietary restriction. When we got here we were met with the same great assistance from the phone. Thank you Torin! She got a fresh gluten free cupcake and freshly iced it for us. Obviously items still made with other gluten items but wasn’t necessary for our situation.“

Only complaint is to please get some chairs in the entry for people waiting to sit down. I stand on my feet all day for work and to stand for 45 min more was painful. Benches, something. It would make the entry less chaotic too. It would be more obvious when new people walked in.You could even create a waiting area by one of those big 6 person tables.Need to have hostess’s call names louder.Offer those waiting water, or take a drink order. give kids something to do.Other than that, everything was great.“

“I read reviews of Louis Restaurante & Bar raving about their fun patio, and yet we stopped by in March. Not to worry, it was still excellent!! It has an almost speakeasy vibe with dark wood and a fantastic bar. We grabbed a quick house cocktail (perfect), house caesar (highly recommend), and house-made pasta (Rigatoni and Pappardelle). The food was excellent and the service was delightful. Our servers were bubbly and well-informed when it came to their menu. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of all aspects of this restaurant. We will definitely be back!“

“This is a very nice restaurant that is located inside of the hotel, they have a very lovely dining area for guests and a warm fire place to sit next to and have a cocktail/drink. We decided to go there since they serve food until 11pm and everything else was about to close on a Tuesday night. The Cajun pasta is yummy and their Tuscan chicken soup of the day was more like a warm hearty chicken noodle, I recommend a bowl instead of a cup. The wings were very very delicious! We always ask for extra crispy, which came out amazing! Haven’t tried the Hawaiian but the Spicy Diablo dry rub isn’t as hot as you’d think. I actually I enjoyed the ambience more than anything; quiet, inviting and elegant. Would definitely recommend to locals or anyone out of town! These are wonderful flavors.Only issue I had was the cost. It may seem silly, but in getting a fountain drink, I don't think anyone should have to pay $3 for a 16 oz. cup to use. There's no need for that. So if you are cost-conscious, you may want to get water only.“
