“Easily one of my favorite coffee shops in the city, and I have been to most of them! Definitely my favorite in Uptown. Great espresso and specialty drinks, and great smooth cold brew with almost zero acidity. The coffee prices are on the lower end for similar quality coffee in the cities. They do take reusable cups. The homemade poptarts really are amazing and worth coming early for. The vegan options are great, and all of their to-go packaging is compostable. The music is great and audible, and there's plenty of conversation, but nothing is so loud that it can't be silenced by noise-cancelling headphones. There is often quite a line on weekends, but the baristas are friendly, fast, and handle the crowd really well. A lot of people take their coffee to go, so you can usually find a seat even when the line's out the door. They have an all-gender restroom, a place to get water, well-stocked napkins, ample outlets, a little library, etc. Bonus points for the baristas bringing food to folks' tables -- that is never an expectation I have, but I saw it happen consistently even when they were busy. I have nothing critical to say about this place!“

“We absolutely love Rainbow Chinese! The food is always fresh and delicious. My go-to quick comfort food is their warm sesame noodles. My partner enjoys their General Tso’s Chicken every time. The restaurant itself is beautiful and I love seeing the fish in the tank when we dine in (but the food is also hot and packed great if you get to go). This place clearly has been created with love!“

“We had a wonderful dinner last evening (8/12/2026) at Ruth's Chris (downtown Minneapolis). We were celebrating an anniversary. The service (Jeffrey) was excellent. The food was delicious and we really appreciated the three-course $60 option.“

“Love the Walnut, Raisin Rye bread. They will get you in and out quick so you can get home and enjoy- you can eat a delicious mini-brownie in the car. (The plastic bags they use still let the outer edges get dry, so grab them while fresh.) On weekends the fresh cinnamon and caramel rolls are worth getting up early to get while they're still warm. You can check their site to be sure they have what you want that day as they have rotating menus. Parking is good just east of the front door.“

If you're in it for beer, which is what I know best, it has a solid selection, but not the type of selection you could find elsewhere. However, liquor and wine selections are really great. Lots of great options, solid staff picks, samples and tastings all the time, and really a very nice atmosphere. Posting this spring 2026, and in the past 1-2 years they did some renovating to keep the place fresh and added a walk-in beer cooler for customers which is great! Deli is also very nice and if you're looking to be a little fancy you can find whatever you need for some high class cheese and crackers. Overall great spot thats definitely worth checking out.“

“The Saint Paul location of Nothing Bundt Cakes is the BEST IN THE STATE!!! The Events and Wedding Manager, Barb, is a literal angel! She is so kind and accommodating, and went the extra mile with Wendy (the owner, another angel!) and other staff members to pack our bundtinis into 160 2-cupcake boxes so we could distribute them as “his and her favorite flavor” favors on the way out at the end of the night. The Nothing Bundt Cakes staff took such care to ensure that the bundtinis were placed properly and did not get smushed in transit and worked with our Day of Coordinator directly to pick them up the day of our wedding. The “his and her” bundtini boxes were a huge hit with our guests!“

“I’m a food court foodie, and this is a 5 star review, minus the bones in my goat masala - good portion, reasonably priced (even got a Wednesday discount), with a smiling, friendly owner.
The goat masala is delicious with yellow rice, salad and rightly spiced. If you stay at the Double Tree Hilton, you can use the skyway access, get off level 2 to get to the Town Square food court in like 50 foot steps. Lots of seating to eat or chat. This restaurant is closed Fridays.
Interestingly, both Indian/Mediterranean food are available including gyro bowls and baklava or samosas and biriyani.“

“Had 5 things and split them!! All were great! Our top 3 are - #3 is the choc donut #2- is the cinnamon roll and #1 was the monkey bread! Also got the brownie and raspberry bar! Would definitely eat them again too!! I got a miele aswell and it was wonderful! Definitely will be back! Adding to our list of safe places!“
