“Tonight, we had a little issue with a delivery order placed through their application/website, delivery driver for DoorDash placed it at the wrong address; entirely different building. It was cold by the time I found it, as it's currently 5 degrees outside. We order from here quite a bit, for pickup, eating in, delivery, etc. Always had a good time, but businesses are tested when things go wrong. Ethan the general manager took our call and immediately set about ensuring that it was put right.Thank you, Ethan, for showing that Buffalo Wild Wings Oakdale has a good customer service culture, we'll definitely be seeing you again!“
“I enjoy the atmosphere whenever I visit. The waitresses are always so friendly. I was with a team of people (my job met there) last night (4/1/24), we had to flag a waitress down to take our order for food and drinks outside of the many appetizers my boss ordered. That's not usually the case though. Once someone came, she was wonderful. I don't come to this establishment too often anymore due to me no longer working in the area, but whenever it's an option, I am always a fan. The broasted chicken and au gratin potato are the absolute best. Thank me later.“
“The food and fun atmosphere is wonderful. Tom Reid is a stand-up fixture here too! You will not be disappointed by the drink choices and the food is great.Kid-friendliness: Our hockey kids enjoyed all of the memorabilia and food.Wheelchair accessibility: All one level and bathrooms.“
“The service was great And my burger was so juicy... my husband had the Elote wings and they were so good.. the wings were unlike anything I've ever had anywhere. Oh, and don't forget you want chips their chips were so good and get it with a side of their dill sour cream.. or the ranch because the ranch was really good too“
“Cannot say enough good things about our experience at Zambonis on 7th!! Stopped in Friday and camped out and ate and loved the entire experience! We attempted to give wild bills our business Saturday night, and after awful service we left and returned to zambonis! The food, drinks, and atmosphere are everything you would want from a local bar/restaurant! Ps...ask for Gus! He is hilarious!“
“A group of 30 of us came in for brunch on Saint Patrick's Day (we did have reservations), and even though they were ridiculously busy, we found easy parking and were greeted with friendly smiles from the energetic staff. They patiently took our orders and didn't even flinch when we needed them separated. Every staff member was great! Our food came out promptly and tasted delicious, and we all left happy with full bellies, ready for the day. It's rare to find such genuine, good places nowadays, but this one of them for sure!“
“You will not find a better bowling alley at a more affordable cost. $8 all you can bowl for 1 & 1/2 hour, shoes included on Weekdays & $11 for weekends. Multiple dart boards, three pool tables, and TouchTunes with short wait times. Amazing spot for family or friends fun!“
“Quick stop here for a birthday drink! Their bloody Mary's are very good! The staff was very welcoming and accommodating to the customers. They are good for any size group and close to the hockey stadium near by for post game celebrations. A great place to watch sporting events too.“
“Under 2 years old and got it right already. Billy switches up the menu with suggestions from the patrons or with new ideas. A month ago I asked him about desserts and if he planned on getting any on the menu, yesterday the menu was updated and with new items along with 3 dessert options. Besides the fact that he's got a arsenal of new and old drinks memorized he's got you covered even if you don't know what you want, all you have to do is tell him the mood your in something fruity or strong drink/shot it doesn't matter.Kid-friendliness: Not a lot of swearing and plenty of t.vs playing all the games of the day. Also a pile of board games helpsWheelchair accessibility: Street level entrance with double doors“
“We came here in a party bus for my son‘s 21st birthday, and I have to say, for the size group we came in with on an already busy night, we were taken such great care of. Peter is the man! Thank you for everything! You guys are definitely capable of quickly serving large amounts of people with ease. I strongly recommend this establishment for any group celebrations!“
“Well managed, serviced and staffed. Lots of seating in 3 rooms, 2 bars. Excellent Daily food and beverage specials. Live music. Breakfast. Irish ☘️ specialties. Fantastic corned beef and cabbage platter for Saint Patrick’s Day Weekend. Woman owed, staff and managed.“
“I can't rave about this place enough!Listen. If you're looking for a freaking amazing meal at a great price, THIS is the place. I haven't had a meal that I thought was mediocre in the least. They're fresh, delicious, filling and come out steaming hot!Servers here are always friendly and attentive. They're there to brighten your day and do a heck of a great job at it.If you like to watch sports while you're eating and/or having cold beer, this is the place. Again, I can't say enough about this place and the food.I hope this helps. Cheers.“
“I went there with the boys the other day and had a few pitchers. I ordered the Waygu cheese burger with bacon and one of my buddies ordered the ham and grilled cheese sandwich. The burger was delicious and not at all dry. My buddy said his grilled cheese sandwich was great. They come with battered fries which were perfectly seasoned. The only thing was, I wish they came with pickles. We are definitely going there again when we get together again.“
“I've gone here a few times in my life living in the neighborhood down the street from this place. It's been several names but now it's Cheer's Pub after the latest ownership change. They run a decent bar, seem to keep tabs on the patrons and it's a decent hangout. It's a typical neighborhood bar with a lot of regulars, cheap drinks, pull tabs, plus some stuff good...football nights, live music with local cover bands and some homegrown musicians, and Karaoke nights. The food here with the new owners is actually pretty damn good for a bar. I've ate here a couple times and I'd go back for those times I'm peckish and don't want to make anything myself (and they make a good drink). Simple menu: French fries, Mozzarella sticks, Jalapeño poppers, Hot dog, Slaw dog, Polish dog, Burger, Cheeseburger, Chicken drummies/sandwich/tenders, Catfish nuggets, Corned beef or Turkey sandwich. This time around I had the slaw dog (see pic) and it was a good take on a Chicago but with slaw...it's a beaut and tastes great, plus the fresh cut fries were the bomb.“
“Best priced drinks I've seen in a long time, friendly local bar with happy patrons and prompt service from bartender. For food I believe they have Heggies pizzas however it appeared the patrons bring in potluck style food to share with everyone. Pulltab's available too. We were not locals and were treated well“
“If you are on the downtown NSP strip, you should stop in and check this bar out. It definitely has an old school feel and you can tell it has been around since the start. The bartender was very friendly and everyone in this place is a local and seated around the bar. Very affordable drinks and they have great music, pulltabs, dartboards and a lot of seating. They also have a back patio area to hang outside.“
“Our kitchen is open. We focus on serving high quality, freshly made to order bar food, with a twist. We offer food specials as well as surprise Gourmet chef specials. We have awesome Bloody Mary's one of the best I've had. We offer drink specials 2 4 1s on domestic beer and premium rails. Our neighborhood is being revamped which is awesome for the bar and community. So if your looking for a cool neighborhood dive bar with awesome staff and great food come Check out The Saint Paul Saloon. P.s The owner is on site and loves to interact with the patrons of the bar.“
“Very amateur golfer here. From the moment I walked in the door on my first visit, Nate made me feel right at home. I've gone several times, solo, with wife and kids, and with just another guy or two. All are great. Many functions, the screens and equipment seem much better than birdi, except maybe the tilting floors piece. Great prices if you can go earlier during the week, but worthwhile even at weekend prices. Look forward to it more each time. Nate has been great for me as a beginner. Not overbearing, but he kindly shares helpful tips, which I really appreciate. Food is solid to really good, depending, and the service is amazing. The guys are always right there, but it's never felt like they are in the way or hovering. Will be back soon!“
“I happened to find this place when my son had to have emergency surgery...first off, very friendly staff and regulars, could see the stress on my face and were so kind! But the best part, hands down, which is why I'm leaving this review 3 years later is bc Bob's steak sandwich (should be Bob's FAMOUS steak sandwich) was THE F’N BEST sandwich my son and I have ever had - to date! If fact, 3 years later and my son is still talking about Bob's steak sandwich being the best food he's ever eaten! So much so that for his birthday in a few weeks, he doesn't want a party or gifts, just to take a trip to the cities for his favorite dinner!“
“Great atmosphere, food is good, nice to stay local. Cracky Mac is creamy and delish!! Tried the brisket in past was very good.UPDATEso it's been a while since this last visit tonight was rough, slow service, food was off... definitely would go someplace else for food.Bar was fine...Update- went and had tacos on Tuesday- they were delish! Server was attentive and friendly!“
“This West Side Sports Bar & Grill was a treat! The food was delicious and the service was friendly and accommodating. We were a party of 6. I had street tacos ala carte. My niece ordered the Menudo and said it was perfect. We also ordered guacamole, queso and chips for the whole table and that made a great appetizer for the whole table. The chips are made fresh and sprinkled with chili-lime salt... Yum! The guacamole was delicious considering it's mid-March in MN! The Horchata was refreshing and cool and was made 'from scratch' - not a mix. I didn't try the marguerita but it was huge and was happily shared around the table. There were 4 screens playing different sports, including futball and women's college softball. The music was recorded - it was lively and loud ... mostly Mariachi (and Mexican rock?).Parking: Not sure if the street parking is free during the day. We went on Sunday evening and both cars found parking easily. The lot surface is bumpy, so I'm not sure how a wheelchair would do. It is on the first floor - no steps at the entrance. One of us used a rolling walker and was easily able to navigate the front door, but I'm not sure if the door is wide enough for a motorized wheelchair.“
“It was really busy, but our server, Savanna, was wonderful. She gave drink and food suggestions. She made sure she got our order in before Happy Hour ended. The food was quick and fresh. The place was clean and well maintained. The manager delivered our food and she was so kind. We highly recommend it, and we will be back.“
“It's surprisingly large. Even if the lot looks full, chances are good that you can get a table immediately. Service is always good, and they've got great specials. Especially happy hour! It's a great place to grab a burger or a couple tacos, and their chili is awesome. The biggest surprise was the salads, though. I didn't expect them to be that good at a bar & grill type place. If you're in the area, you should definitely check out the hoggsbreath. You won't be disappointed!“
“A classic Saint Paul neighborhood bar, with simple grub yet so affordable, a mix of Asian and American. All served as takeaway but you can eat it there if you want and the portions are gigantic. There's bingo two nights a week, a Friday afternoon meat raffle, and pulltabs/etabs. Locals are the majority of the clientele but for all its grittiness, it's a safe place with patrons who care about the establishment! Watch out for the parking lot. It's a dirt lot minefield of potholes that will destroy your transmission of you go faster than 1 mph.“
“White Bear Bar gets a bad reputation because they try to keep order and riff raff out. This game is beyond difficult! I really like Angie the bartender and all the waitresses are gorgeous and offer good service even during adverse times and bad customers. Pool is always fun and trivia. No decent food but free popcorn n pizza but its a bar not a restaurant. Security is always really good and I've never seen any conflict not get resolved promptly. People whine about getting kicked out, these arw the people that cause issues and i appreciate this. Always has good beer.“
“Me and my friends been there a few times and we have a really good expirience. the first thing I want to say is the place is clean and they have shoes in good conditions; which it's important for me. Second the service is excellent.. thanks the waitress. And about the food I recommend the beef nachos. if you have a chance try this place“
“It's good, except they always try to avoid actually giving you the advertised good discounts. I'm not sure why. But you need to check the bill, and ask for the discount. Then they always put up a fight. Otherwise, the food is great.“
“I highly recommend this place to dine and sit!!! Brandi was phenomenal!!! She answered all of our questions quickly, and her choices of food were on point!!! If we lived closer we would come back just to be in Brandi 's section again!!! Great job everyone!!!“
“Good people, pool, and overall fun time. Granted the bar has some flaws (the bar tender over charged me $5 or short changed me), some random guy was bent over getting sick in the bathroom, and the pool tables aren't exactly the straightest I've seen. But overall still for a watering hole or dive-ish bar this place is perfect. Crowd is interesting and seemed to be a mixture of new patrons and regulars and everyone was pleasant and I'd for sure return. Also worth mentioning due to a random incident in the parking lot a few months ago they now had armed security at the door which was also super polite, professional, and for sure made you feel 100% safe while there.“
“Didn't get food so therefor I can't give a rating on food. The service is amazing. The bartender is aware, quick, and focused. The atmosphere is is cool. People are enjoying themselves, no drama, alot of laughing, talking & singing. They have a patio as well.“
“If you don't know me by now I tell it all and point you out in a big long exposing or give props way!!! Don't hold back I 5ells no lies! Here goes,By far the best one to visit by far,Applebee's almost everywhere nothing on the menu to choose from is authentic anymore but this one Rock or it was a Good God day.I gave it a 4 and forgot her name but the server was very helpful she didn't stay away with us waiting for things that were very well needed or didn't sit there waiting for refills the soda I ordered was a fountain drink.everywhere you go they all mix with flat flavors warm-like drinks with faded sizz...the server allowed me to try something different as I said she was really on her game if you are ghetto and never served or even know what it is like to serve stay away from her she isn't and doesn't need to be tarnished by making her see everyone that looks similar to be the same were not that's what will allow you to lose I served 15 years I have easily $50-$100 on a good pocket Day.tip always and treat everyone equally thanks Love all ? ♥“
“We went here for the first time tonight and were very impressed by the atmosphere, service and food. After hearing great reviews (being new to the area) we finally made the trip over and were not disappointed! Highly recommend. We will be back for those award winning wings!“
“They have a great fish fry on Fridays! The Reuben Egg rolls are spectacular! Service is hit or miss. Atmosphere is COLD! For some reason, the double door doesn't prevent the blast of cold air from outside every time someone comes in or goes out.“
