“Cardamom is a very solid place to grab a bite! It is conveniently located inside the Walker Art Center, so it serves as a lovely stop on your way in or out of the museum. The restaurant space itself is very inviting and modern.

The host was friendly and we were able to get seated quickly as a party of two. Although it took a little while for our food and drinks to come out, the staff overall were very nice and did a great job.

The food served here was quite tasty and I really liked the Turkish eggs I got as an entree. The saffron crem brulee I got as dessert was actually incredible, perfect texture and amazing flavor! The only thing to note here is that the prices are generally a little high for what you get, but it was still quite good and I do think the crem brulee was totally worth it.

Overall, I definitely recommend checking out Cardamom if you're enjoying a leisurely day at the museum or the sculpture garden!“

All their tahini was priced at least 2x as much cost wise, and the bulk olives in the deli case didn't have a price posted on them, and when I looked, nobody asked me if I need help and just ignored me. When I go to this market, the prices are always clearly posted, and the food I get is always great for the price. Someone always asks me do I need help, and then my experience is great. If you are curious about shopping at this market, I love it, it's great. Shop here to be happy with your shopping experience.“

Today we stopped in and I ordered the chicken kabobs, except I accidentally ordered the sandwich. When the chef brought it out and we realized my mistake he instantly took it back and cooked me up what I intended to order, bringing me the salad so I wouldn't be without food.

The food came out hot and beautiful! I apologized for my mistake, but he was so kind and happy to get me what I wanted.

“I was staying in the University of Minnesota and this place was a life saver when I did not want to eat in the dining hall. Their falafel sandwich was genuinely some of the best falafel I have ever had and their fries were undoubtedly the best fries I have ever had. The service was super quick and we got our food in under 10 minutes consistently. The staff was super friendly and the restaurant had a great atmosphere to it. Would strongly recommend if you are in the area!“

Counter and table service available, tables and chairs are sturdy and adequate, few sofas also and a large screen tv. The decor is rather plain and the counter does not look promising, service is a bit slow but friendly, accurate, with a smile and they'll recognize and greet familiar faces. The quality of their food and drink however is redeeming and so good i cant have enough, can keep coming back here. It's such a refreshing treat to find high quality ethnic dishes at a reasonable price.

The operators are ethnic east african would be my guess, Eritrean or Ethiopian or in that region, friendly smiles, very welcoming and warm hearted, English speaking with a heavy accent, you should have no difficulty ordering. A selection of American style burgers, sandwiches and even meatballs and pasta available and an excellent Chai tea. The highlight for me is their range of meat and vegetable dishes served within a wrapper of injera, a famously delicious and nutritious soft, fluffy pancake-like bread.

My taste buds assure me only the most fresh ingredients, vegetables, spices and oils go into their pots, cooked and marinated in its juices over a low fire but cooked thoroughly and slowly to perfection. Beef, chicken and fish are typical meats here not pork. Highly recommended establishment and don't hesitate to strike up a conversation or make new friends
