“I recently moved here from Arizona and George and the Dragon has become my families go to restaurant. The food is amazing and the price is very affordable. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. I highly recommend you give this place a try if you haven’t yet!“
“It's one of my go-to spots whenever I'm in Minneapolis. The atmosphere and service are standard brewpub. Good, but nothing out of the ordinary.Food is solid, mostly standard bar food, but it's well done with the cheese curds being noteworthy. The beer is definitely the highlight, there is a wide variety of well executed styles with the big barrel aged beers being some of the best in the state.I've been several times, and I'm sure I will be back next time I'm in Minneapolis.“
“Came here on a whim while we were walking around downtown Minneapolis. The service here is wonderful and shoutout to our waitress for being so awesome! It's a traditional style pub and walking in, we felt the chill and cool vibe and atmosphere. Plenty of seating around as well. We ordered the following: Soy garlic edamame: 8/10 - it was really good and salty from the soy! The edamame beans were steamed perfectly and provided that crisp pop when you bit into one. We would taste the garlic as well and it was very pleasant on the tongue. Mac and cheese: 8/10: I thought it would be the traditional noodles but it was penne style instead. It was rich, cheesy, creamy, and the pasta cooked al dente. It came with a toasted, buttered baguette slice. It was enough to feed two people and my coworker and I shared it. It was insanely good but I prefer the regular style mac and cheese noodles. To me, this was like a step above your average mac and cheese. Mexican corn dip - 9/10: do yourself a favor and get this as your appetizer! It tasted exactly like a warm elote! The flavors were outstanding and the added lime was the chef's kiss. it comes with fresh tortilla corn chips and when you first get a taste of the dip, you taste the richness of the Cotija cheese, and then follows the sweet corn and tangy lime juice and tajin. Then you end up with the slight spicy kick at the end. We all came to the consensus that this was our favorite item of the day! We finished every corn kernel. My other coworkers had a steak salad with blue cheese dressing and a slow roasted pull pork with tater tots. They both enjoyed their food as well. Prices were good for the portion size as well and our drinks were refilled and we were checked on regularly. Come try this place out! You won't be disappointment!“
“This is the place you go to to be around friends. The service is casual but so welcoming and fun. The owners are absolutely serving you and treat their guests with kindness, silliness and joy. This is my favorite place in the cities.Usually packed (for a reason), food is great, whiskey is better.“
“Cute place but for sure burger is better at the nook which I passed on my way here. Burgers for 14$ should come with fries (it doesn’t). Service is good and atmosphere is hipster. No wifi. Would try something other than the burger though Was packed by 545 on a Saturday night already.“
“They are as iconic to Minneapolis as the Foshay Tower. Still the best wings in town and great service. If there was ever a sequel to Cheers, Runyon's would be my venue choice. Classic neighborhood gathering watering hole with consistently great bar food. Yes, I have a personal bias as I met my future wife at Runyon's in 1991 and just like Runyon's, we have been together since 1991 and now married for 30 years in 2024. If you have never been to Runyon's...get there, if you have not been there for years, go back. Remains one of our classic favorites. We had the pleasure of Chandler taking care of us today and he too is an awesome asset to Runyon's.“
“Super fun bar and bowling alley! We came here with a couple of friends on a Thursday night to hit the lanes and grab some dinner. Food was decent, pretty standard bar fare. Service was a little slow, but it was packed so that might not be the norm. It was great that you can put your name on the list for Bowling while having dinner. It speeds up the process.Bowling prices are great! I like that it’s per person per game and not timed like a lot of Alleys are doing these days.“
“We went here twice this past week. Once for lunch (inside). We had the poutine and a couple of locally crafted beers. The second time was after my husband's conference and we sat outside on the rooftop patio. The staff were very friendly, got our orders right, checked back to make sure we were happy. During the first visit, we sat inside and watched English Premiership Football with a very crowded bar filled with fans from both sides. The atmosphere (looked like a traditional British Pub) was great, food was good, beer was tasty and staff were fantastic! We'd definitely come back here again.“
“Great restaurant/brewery in the North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis. Parking can be a little difficult to come by, but usually you can find a meter on Washington Ave. Food is fast and delicious, as well as the beer and cocktails. We like the breakfast options and usually have a hard time deciding since there are so many good choices. It was busy on the Sunday morning that we were there so the wait staff took a little longer than was expected.Vegetarian options: Lots of optionsKid-friendliness: Definitely a place you can bring the kids to.“
“The Dubliner Pub's live Irish music (they sing more than just Irish, but Irish is my fave) and grab-someone-and-twirl-them dancing is top notch, so make sure you check this place out when they host live music, which is often thankfully. Nice side room with arcade style games and a pool table. We really love coming here; The atmosphere is great, even the old creaky wood floors!“
“This was a perfect stop after marching in the St Patricks Parade in St Paul. The food was delicious our server was excellent. The vibe was very chill and that is what we were looking for. We will definitely be back. Oh and the Irish Cheesecake was a treat with a twist.?☘️“
“This is my favorite pre-theater hole -in-the-wall. Nothing fancy, just a nice, inexpensive neighborhood joint. If your hearty, you can even park on the street for free (or next to nothing), and walk the free blocks to the theatre district. But shhhh! Don't tell everyone! ?“
“Dave is the best bartender who can do it all, if you get the chance to come here ask for Dave, Kirk, or Smalls. They make good drinks for a low price. On top of it their food is top tier. Would recommend Dave and the bar staff 1000/10 amazing experience. We’ll be back. Believe That.“
“I used to go to the St Cloud location so I was elated to find out there was an Eden Prairie location! The 1/2 sandwich is plenty big for an adult and if you don't like sandwiches, they offer gyros and soup too. Great for all different appetites.Kid-friendliness: They have peanut butter and jelly sandwiches if your child is a picky eater.“
“The pizza is fantastic. They used to house Red's Savoy Pizza, and they kept the pizza kitchen equipment when Red's moved out. They have very good pizza options on the menu, and the ingredients/ construction of the pizza is well done. The bar is what you would expect at a VFW, and has a decent selection of beer on tap. Very friendly staff and atmosphere.“
“Mackenzie(yes the server’s name was also that), was the best server we’ve had in Minneapolis. Super funny and just made the whole experience a lot better. The bar itself and the drinks are great too! Mackenzie made Minneapolis a lot more “
“We love stopping in for food and drinks on weekend to catch a game! There's a ton of TVs, so you can see the game from pretty much wherever. Get there early if you want a seat at the bar, gets busy and it fills up quick! Our go to app is the short rib quesadilla & then we switch up everything else! GF menu is a little limited but there are options. They have great daily specials, but make sure you check it ahead of time if you don't want to get caught on bingo night!“
“The atmosphere was very warm and fun in the sense of bodies and atmosphere. So much going on at one time and it was a Friday evening and I think a Nebraska game was about to begin if it hadn’t already started. I enjoyed the jeers and cheers. Server was lovely and the expo/food runner is impeccable. Not bad for my first time.“
“One of the best places to dine! We meet friends here occasionally and it's always a great experience. The service is always friendly and the food is wonderful! I highly recommend the Irish Stew and the Cheese and Onion Pasty and their brussel sprouts. They make a great Old Fashioned as well!“
“Parking: If you can't park at the restaurant there is another Lucky's parking area across the street.During the busiest periods you may have trouble finding spots in the two lots but generally you can still find a spot along the street and walk a little further.Tip - if church isn't in service you can get away with parking in the church parking lot.“
“Warm, lovely atmosphere. As a tourist, I felt welcome. The appetizers were delicious. The pizza tastes dirty. The hamburgers are a wow!The beer is unbelievably excellent. Service is wonderful. This is a place you have to stop by in Minneapolis Minnesota.“
“The Bulldog has my favorite wings and burger - the "Fear the Reaper" wings and "Stilton" burger are my favorites in the Twin Cities. The Reaper wings are the perfect balance of heat & flavor and the Stilton burger is full of flavor and heavy on the garlic. Oh, and when you get the burger make sure to get the cajun fries - baller combo.“
“The Acadia on West Bank is finally OPEN AGAIN!The menu consist of only burgers and a chicken sandwich for entrees but some tasty apps. They are not open for lunch at this time which is a bummer as the menu is perfect for a quick lunch. The lighting always seems a bit too bright and the music can be excruciating in regards to the volume. It's under new ownership or management but my hopes are they prosper and maintain a much needed "local" space with.“
“We had a great experience at Lucky's Pub 13 in Burnsville, our waiter, Lucas, and the host were so accomidating! We are not from the area and wanted to watch the Iowa Women's Basketball game, they turned it on for us and we stayed for the duration of the game and felt as if we were VIP with the treatment we receieved from staff. Food and drinks were just an added bonus but it was the staff that made everything so much fun!“
“First time here. Decided to do a pick up after work. Online order was easy and food was ready within 25 minutes.Has its own parking and nice atmosphere, music not to loud and food wasn't bad.Got the Blucy with mayo and lettuce for $11.25 and decent taste. Lot of nice melted cheese inside the burger.I also got the 10 piece chicken which I felt was a little on the dry side and not much meat for $9.95, wasn't really worth it to me. Overall wasn't bad experience.“
“9/2024 Based on the bringing back table service, I'm going back up to 4 stars, the food is always 5, dine in experience is 5, still irritated that you can't order for a specific pick up time for carry out, but the food makes up for it.the food is always great, but the shift to Toast leaves a lot to be desired. the atmosphere is no longer personable or really enjoyable, you order and interact with your phone. ordering for pickup stinks, you have no option to place an order for future pickup, and it always says 20 minutes, even if it will be ready in 10 or 40, and you get no confirmation or understanding of an estimate when your food will be ready for pickup. pre-covid the dine-in experience was very interactive and had feeling, now it is very disconnected and robotic. if I could break down the rating, 1 star for dine in and online ordering experience, 5 stars for food“
“For a rather unassuming restaurant exterior, the food was actually much better than I expected. They have quite a few bougie whisky drinks, and the bartender definitely didn't skimp on the liquor. The menu is simple and the fare is standard American standbys, but there were a few unique twists. The atmosphere is a standard cozy pub interior, and there were a few minor renovations that elevated the restaurant to ensure it didn't have a dive-bar feel. The space is kind of tight, do I definitely would avoid it during the busy times, but overall, it's a place I would return to.“
“Our first time here - and we WILL be back. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Food is surprisingly good for a small spot. Great atmosphere. We tried the Cajun dry rub wings. Highly recommend. The walleye special and Broadway burger were also delightful.“
“Major props to this establishment not only for the food, but the staff. First. Highly recommend the Humpty Dumpty Burger. Delicious 2nd. The staff is as friendly as can be. I brought my 3 Month old, solo, and he decided to wake up and share his vocal pipes. The Manager (Mike) came by, as he could see I was scrambling to find the bottle and calm my baby down. He took him off to the side room while I could get this done and all was good after that. Cant THANK him enough. For a good environment, delicious beers and food, you found the place. Thanks again!“
“Came here for a bite to eat and was very surprised! I love the atmosphere, reminded me of places back home and loved the back room area so we could visit. Staff were incredible and very friendly and the pizza was amazing! My friend ordered it so I can't remember the name of it but it was like an all meat pizza and omg so delicious!“
“Went at 10:30 in the evening on a Wednesday, it was my first time there. The Big Mac Daddy was awesome, jucy, messy, and just all flavor. Fried pickles were great, and the wings were good, and the beer was cold. Our server was great, very funny. Our table was laughing quite a bit with her. It was a really good experience and exactly what I needed.“
