“My medium coffee was a little off today. It wasn't as good as I get at other Bous in town. I also requested my beans be ground. This was done quickly but I was handed a bag with coffee ground dust all over the outside of the bag. Presentation speaks volumes.

“I love caribou. It’s better than any other coffee shop we have here in Rochester. I’m not from the Midwest originally, so when I go home to visit it’s hard to find anything that compares. I hope you move out more west soon! A couple hundred in every state!

Dietary restrictions: I think it’s great how if you order in the app you don’t get charged for dairy free options. It’s not our fault that we are lactose intolerant or have allergies to things. I wish they would make it in store as well!“

“What a find! This little gem it set inside of a beautiful and peaceful nursery and serves an authentic and impressive flat white! We also loved the lavender lemonade which was resonant with flavor of real lavender and was a perfect little drink. Lovely friendly staff and lots of comfortable seating. Dog friendly which is another big plus.“

I ordered a single-origin pour-over and a croissant, and both exceeded expectations. The coffee was exceptionally well-brewed—bright, layered, and clearly sourced with care. The baristas were friendly but not overbearing; they knew their craft and were happy to explain the tasting notes. I also appreciated that they offered alternative milk options and had a thoughtful, small menu of pastries that paired well with their drinks.

What I loved most about Spyhouse was its balance between sophistication and comfort. It’s not just a place to grab a quick coffee—it invites you to stay, sip, and enjoy the experience. Whether you’re a coffee enthusiast or just want a beautiful spot to unwind in Rochester, Spyhouse delivers both in quality and atmosphere. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in town.

“I've tried a few pumpkin lattes from various locations in the past week and Caribou has the best tasting pumpkin latte of them all. Very enjoyable.

Parking: The parking lot has lines on the pavement where you are expected to drive and stop your vehicles within the lines for an orderly arrival and departure process. It worked well for me.“

“We stopped by Moka during our lunch break and had a great experience. It was quiet when we arrived but quickly filled up, which shows how popular it is. I tried the Oreo latte and it was amazing. It reminded me of a campfire latte with flavors like graham crackers, chocolate, and whipped cream. I loved that it was sweet but not overly sweet. It was also beautifully presented. The lavender matcha was smooth and enjoyable as well. Overall, the drinks were fantastic and definitely worth coming back for.“

“I go here 3-4 times per week for an ice (frappe) coffee drink, the drinks are great and the service is fast and friendly, their thirsty Thursday deal is phenomenal, I order the drink of my choice, do my shopping and the drink is ready when I get back to the counter.“

“the benches need to be recovered. They are in such bad shape that it could snag your pants/ There is not an easy way to slide over on them. The machines are noisy . Maybe some insulation in the ceiling would help. Be careful with your pricing. It's not easy to bring or buy for a family. It's a one or two person event.
I love the windows and the sunlight. I love the coffee. I love the tables and chairs. Bagels with almond/honey cream cheese are
my favorite. The drive up window / people are very well trained. I am a good tipper I love the pictures on the walls. The color of the walls are warm and happy. Don't forget to empty the garbage cans. I 'm not very techie and I don't always know about specials.

“A warm, cozy vibe right across from Domitilla building/Mayo Clinic. I spent a few hours having some turtle mocha and reading/writing, and there was plenty of room. Bathrooms are very well maintained, and the staff is very accommodating. They let me use my own mug (please bring your own if possible since they use single use cups)

“June 24 update: This store is open M-F (5.30 am to 12.30 pm). Nice coffee, friendly and kind baristas, quick service. Today they are featuring Komodo Dragon Dark Roast (a must-try blend for lovers of complex dark roast coffee with Earthy and herbal notes from Sumatra). The café accepts in-store mobile payments though I am not sure if one can redeem stars. Order ahead (through app) and dine-in are not available. More importantly, the store management has decided to continue the use of old generation espresso machines (therefore, the espresso is not as bold and smooth as the one generated by new generation Mastrena-2 Swiss-made espresso machines available at Apache Starbucks).“

“You are going to want to eat both breakfast and lunch/dinner here, trust me. Also, you will need a piece of coconut cake. Staff is friendly, socially distanced and the take out is just as good as eating in. Curbside pick up is nice as well.“

The only thing that should be better is the time they close I went to carribue a few times in my neighborhood hood and it was closed. I go every morning sometimes night but it is always closed. All the other stores in Rochester seem to not know how to make this drink that is on the menu , and make it wrong in different ways every time but Kara always makes sure I get it right! That’s why I take my time to go to the mall location just to have her help because when my coffee is wrong , it really sucks :(“

“I’m a pretty big Starbucks fan and I’d have to say this Target location always makes my drinks the best. Also, the workers are always SO sweet and friendly! But out of all the locations in Rochester, I’d have to say my coffee always tastes amazing from here. I just went to the one by the Rec Center and they never make my drink correct (have all the toppings/spices) and the workers have never been very friendly.“
