Worth going to food is great we had crabcakes, oysters, my husband had Shrimp Jambalaya and I had Smothered Catfish with Red Potatoes. We'll go back worth the drive.”

“I have been going to Bo Diddleys for over 30 years and Bo Diddleys subs are the best except for the fact that they switched to Miracle Whip from the traditional Mayo. I remember them trying this switch years ago and they did end up going back to Mayo. At least give us a choice between Miracle Whip and Mayo. Remainder of menu is great.”

“All you can eat buffet with lots of diverse options. Atmosphere is cozy. I bring my family there and meet up with friends there. Quick and easy option for any meal of the day. First time I ate there was at basketball camp in 2003. I have been returning ever since! -SJU Class of '13”

“Chose to have our 2024 Christmas Party for our staff at the La Playette Bar in St. Joe. EXCELLENT CHOICE! From the first encounter with owners to save the date and work of the details to the last encounter with their staff closing out the bar bill everything was TOP NOTCH! Ann had the place perfect for us. Their staff took AMAZING care of us throughout the evening. Keep up the good service and great work.

“To start, my buddies and I go around to different bars, personally rating them. This one may take our hearts.

This scored 90/100 on our list, but 100/100 in our hearts.

Brett was our bartender, and he was absolutely out of this world. Superb knowledge about beers mixed with an infectious and upbeat personality, Brett keeps everything fun and exciting.

I came in for the first time, we saw cards & cribbage, pool, and some other games, but we did not even need any to be entertained. Brett's personality and conversation kept us interested and involved. Laughter, more laughter, and even more laughter is what really made our experience so great. He even convinced us to play dice.

His 15-year knowledge about brewing and beers made for excellent conversation when discussing taps. A fantastic recommendation, Cyber Sue, kept me at the bar, where we discussed more IPAs, stouts, michigan breweries, and ones around the United States. Great stuff.

Brett, we love you, and we are excited to return to this bar over and over again (hopefully), and excited for more conversation, laughs, and good vibes. All the best for this bar.

“Ordered out twice so far and been ready when I arrived and I am staying right down the road. The food was good, a little lacking in flavor but, both times it was consistent and made fresh. Had the pork with vegs w/fried rice and spring rolls. Not sure if its the best Chinese in town but its been consistent and the portion to price is ok, not great but, you won't be hungry when you are done. Recommend you at least try it. I got take out, the eating area looks a little run down, why 3/5 on atmosphere, don't know that I would eat in but, to each their own.”

“I walked in and got greeted with a smiling face. The 2 ladies working tonight had amazing teamwork and communication. They both helped me so much and were very patient. The atmosphere was clean and the food stayed fresh all day. Very delicious and would very recommend!!”

“Shout out to Joe and his wonderful staff at Neighbor’s, St. Joe. They provided the perfect venue for my daughter’s baby shower earlier today! The taco bar was perfect, the staff attended to all our needs, everything was timely and exactly what was asked - could not have gone more perfect! Definitely a thumbs up from us - our guests commented how great the accommodations and food were as well. Much appreciated!”

“Poor guy Ryder, he was working by himself. He acknowledged me when I came to the counter and said he'd be right with me. Phone ringing off the hook as he's trying to make coffee for others. I knew it would take a bit, but just the mere fact of acknowledging me is huge! Great customer service! Very friendly. Did not show any residue of being stressed. Made the perfect cup of coffee! This location is in a grocery store so it can get busy. Great job Ryder!”
