“My husband heard about this restaurant from Taste Buds on channel 9. Our server Lauren was great very knowledgeable about all the food. Made sure everything was alright. Worth going to food is great we had crabcakes, oysters, my husband had Shrimp Jambalaya and I had Smothered Catfish with Red Potatoes. We'll go back worth the drive.”

“Chose to have our 2024 Christmas Party for our staff at the La Playette Bar in St. Joe. EXCELLENT CHOICE! From the first encounter with owners to save the date and work of the details to the last encounter with their staff closing out the bar bill everything was TOP NOTCH! Ann had the place perfect for us. Their staff took AMAZING care of us throughout the evening. Keep up the good service and great work.

“I have been going to Bo Diddleys for over 30 years and Bo Diddleys subs are the best except for the fact that they switched to Miracle Whip from the traditional Mayo. I remember them trying this switch years ago and they did end up going back to Mayo. At least give us a choice between Miracle Whip and Mayo. Remainder of menu is great.”

“The food is always fresh and with an abundance of choices and no limit on how much you get if you aren’t satisfied odds are you are just a joyless person. As a chubby man I really enjoy the malted waffle station . The waffles are belgian style and I can get a tablespoon of butter in each divot, top it with hot butter and enjoy. My vison blurs just thinking about it. Top self stuff”

“Updated review! As manager did reach out and offered either a refund or 3 new subs.

Ordered a pickup order for 3 meatball subs, arrived on time, and got the sandwiches. Went home to eat and took a bite of the sandwich and the meatballs were frozen cold, sauce cold as well. Even the other 2 toasted subs had cold meatballs and sauce. Called the restaurant, a girl answered, told her what happened, and all she said was she was sorry and then went silent… I said so yeah like what happened why are they cold? She just said I’m sorry and the manager should call you on Monday. I’m guessing they ran out of meatballs in the hot well and grabbed them from the freezer/fridge and either heated them in the microwave for a very small amount of time or just put the on the subs cold as well as the sauce. Had to disassemble each sub and heat them up all over again. Very frustrating, especially when you have a hungry toddler screaming at you. Overall, very unpleasant experience. We’ll see if a manager reaches out…”

“Ordered out twice so far and been ready when I arrived and I am staying right down the road. The food was good, a little lacking in flavor but, both times it was consistent and made fresh. Had the pork with vegs w/fried rice and spring rolls. Not sure if its the best Chinese in town but its been consistent and the portion to price is ok, not great but, you won't be hungry when you are done. Recommend you at least try it. I got take out, the eating area looks a little run down, why 3/5 on atmosphere, don't know that I would eat in but, to each their own.”

“The food here is okay, my wife's burrito was not all that warm, and it all tasted good not excellent. However, the two guys working in here were hustling to take orders and get orders out, and it was busy. They still had a sense of humor and really worked hard and fast. The owner should thank these guys, they were fantastic.”

“Shout out to Joe and his wonderful staff at Neighbor’s, St. Joe. They provided the perfect venue for my daughter’s baby shower earlier today! The taco bar was perfect, the staff attended to all our needs, everything was timely and exactly what was asked - could not have gone more perfect! “It's hard to come up with words to express how much I love this place.

We found this place mostly be accident as it was close to a brewery we like and man are we grateful we did!

The burgers are made hot and fresh and are just amazing. They have classics like a deluxe (lettuce and tomato) to the gyro burger (Cokes with tatziki and gyro meat!). All of them are cooked to perfection, excellent size and have a great bun and topping ratio.

The burgers come with fries that are thick and crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Even the chicken nuggets are excellent.

Service takes a few minutes but you can play pinball for free while you wait!

We go out of our way to I visit St. Joseph, just to eat here. I love it and I never want it to change.”
