“Great experience. Very nice atmosphere. Staff were all extremely friendly. Sat in the outdoor patio. It was warm and inviting even with the cooler weather. Tried the Espresso Martini and the Biscoff Martini. Both were outstanding. You can even purchase a bottle or two distilled on site. Highly recommend everyone give this spot a try.”

“My husband heard about this restaurant from Taste Buds on channel 9. Our server Lauren was great very knowledgeable about all the food. Made sure everything was alright. Worth going to food is great we had crabcakes, oysters, my husband had Shrimp Jambalaya and I had Smothered Catfish with Red Potatoes. We'll go back worth the drive.”

“I have been going to Bo Diddleys for over 30 years and Bo Diddleys subs are the best except for the fact that they switched to Miracle Whip from the traditional Mayo. I remember them trying this switch years ago and they did end up going back to Mayo. At least give us a choice between Miracle Whip and Mayo. Remainder of menu is great.”

“Chose to have our 2024 Christmas Party for our staff at the La Playette Bar in St. Joe. EXCELLENT CHOICE! From the first encounter with owners to save the date and work of the details to the last encounter with their staff closing out the bar bill everything was TOP NOTCH! Ann had the place perfect for us. Their staff took AMAZING care of us throughout the evening. Keep up the good service and great work.

“The food is always fresh and with an abundance of choices and no limit on how much you get if you aren’t satisfied odds are you are just a joyless person. As a chubby man I really enjoy the malted waffle station . The waffles are belgian style and I can get a tablespoon of butter in each divot, top it with hot butter and enjoy. My vison blurs just thinking about it. Top self stuff”

“I walked in and got greeted with a smiling face. The 2 ladies working tonight had amazing teamwork and communication. They both helped me so much and were very patient. The atmosphere was clean and the food stayed fresh all day. Very delicious and would very recommend!!”

“Ordered out twice so far and been ready when I arrived and I am staying right down the road. The food was good, a little lacking in flavor but, both times it was consistent and made fresh. Had the pork with vegs w/fried rice and spring rolls. Not sure if its the best Chinese in town but its been consistent and the portion to price is ok, not great but, you won't be hungry when you are done. Recommend you at least try it. I got take out, the eating area looks a little run down, why 3/5 on atmosphere, don't know that I would eat in but, to each their own.”

“This is the best kept secret in St. Joe as far as food and I realize there's a lot of great options for food in this small town. We've frequent this restaurant for years. It's important to note that this is NOT fast food. It says made fresh to order. Burgers are huge. Gyros are plentiful. Fry servings are large and crispy with flavor. Shakes are thick. Menu is unique with truly filling foods. Prices are great for serving sizes and compared to local options. They have free pinball machines as u wait in there little seating area. Bathrooms are located on the outside of building. Absolutely nothing modern or great but available. Pation in the summer is nice. Indoor seating is a few large booths and swival seat bar facing out windows. They do deliver orders out to your vehicle as you wait. You'll get far too many ketchup packets and actual real napkins in each bag.
