“I made reservations for 6 to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We drove an hour to come here after a recommendation and it was worth it! We had great service and all of us loved our food! Definitely will be back!“

“I’ve eaten here before many years ago but they recently did a big marketing push and it got my attention. They had a Bogo deal so I grabbed a Jalapeño burger and a Turkey burger as well. Both were super tasty.

The pickup was immaculate and the young lady who greeted me and handed me my order had a genuine smile and looked like she was enjoying her work. The cooks were hard at but joking around with each other and seemed genuinely happy to be there.

I’m going to do my best to get back here as soon as I am able.“

“Stopped here to celebrate the start of the school year. We sat outside on the nice patio and the staff offered our kids some chalk and bubbles which was a great friendly & personal touch. We had mango, chocolate and salted caramel gelato and a chocolate shake. They were all really good. We also got a basket of fries and cheese curds, both were good. We will be back to try food.

It was a great neighborhood spot that we hope to frequent and I would recommend to friends and neighbors to check out.“

“If you love old world supper clubs. The "Lex" is for you. Sadly I can not give it 4 stars until they up their game and get an espresso machine. Imagine a beautiful brass Espresso machine sitting behind the bar! Anyone who remembers the old Williams Cafe in Uptown knows what I am talking about. I can't think of another restaurant in their price range that does NOT offer Espresso in the Mpls-St. Paul area.“

“I'm giving 4 stars because I want this review to get attention. I like this place a lot, but the amount of times I get food I didn't order is concerning. Now I'm afraid to go back for fear I'll get something I can't even eat, then they have to make it again and waste food. The food is too expensive for this to keep happening.

Other than that, as I said, this place is good, the food is good. The staff is always nice and I know they would be amenable when there is an issue with the food, but this happens so often I fear it wouldn't stop even if I did say something. I know it's not malicious or anything and sometimes things get mixed up. But it's happened so many times I felt compelled to leave this review in the hopes management sees it and takes steps to be more cognizant of what the customers are ordering and what they are giving them. I'm not sure what the intention is behind this, if any. I just don't want to waste food.“

“I eat at Moscow On The Hill every time I am in town for work. The food is always consistent, high-quality, and the atmosphere is wonderful. There’s not a bad seat in the house and the service is excellent. You should definitely consider a stop here during your time in St Paul. I can’t wait to bring my family from Oklahoma here one day!“

“Fantastic coffee, incredible apple fritters. Staff were kind and attentive. They have a large coffee roasting oven behind the counter, so the entire place smells heavenly. Only one bathroom though, so don’t drink your coffee too quick.

Will be back, and likely will be purchasing coffee beans from them in the future.“

Their fried pickle chips are awesome, wings great even sauceless (got dipping sauces on side), walleye fries were great, the only thing we were so so on were the nachos. “I had a good experience, but a few things I wanted to note. The wait time can be quite long at times, but the staff were nice. The bathroom situation is kind of awkward here. It’s right in the middle of the seating area and it’s really hard to tell with the electronic lock if it is actually locked and people waiting can’t tell if it’s locked or not. I have seen a few times people have opened it up with someone inside and cause them some shock. A generic lock would probably be better“

“My human gets out of the car and goes to the truck. She comes back with a plastic disk and then we sit there for a while. The disk buzzes and flashes and the my human goes back to the truck and comes back with the best food ever. I don’t get to eat the goat tacos because they give me the midnight poops but the chicken quesadilla is the best.“
