“Food is good, but nothing special. Crowded, loud. Typical fast food joint.Parking: Avoid busy times. Parking lot is congested, drive-thru line of cars blocking access. I use a walker; it would have been more difficult to navigate in a wheelchair.“
“I have been eating at Popeye's chicken for nearly 45 years, y'all!!! Ever since I first moved down to Chicago in 1980 and tried their spicy chicken, there was no more KFC for me! Their red beans and rice side dish, or dirty rice, or Jambalaya all became favorites eventually. Some things have come and gone, but the chicken is still the bomb, even if the pieces have continued to shrink quite a bit in size over the years.I also love their frozen lemonade; plain! NO mango for me (ugh, gross!) nor strawberry either!When I want to eat a little "light", their blackened chicken strips fill the bill perfectly! Adding a bit of decadence like their blackened ranch dipping sauce is perfection, btw.My one and only problem with THIS particular location, (and which I've NOT noticed at ANY other locations, FYI) is that WHENEVER I order a couple of spicy chicken thighs, (That's my standing order) there is always (and I do mean ALWAYS) a big chunk of the breading missing from each of my thigh portions. To what purpose? And WHY from just this store location? It's been going on for a dozen or so years at least. Is someone trying to take a simple pleasure from me by ruining the joy? How selfish!“
“This location is decent. Right across from the mall. Clean and decent. Customer service is basic and quiet.Food is good and reasonably priced. Got the 12 piece chicken only and it was. $24.99, which isn't to bad for $2.08 a piece. The sweet and heat sauce is $0.75 each. Which I feel is a little overpriced.Popcorn shrimp was fresh and good. It has a mini kick to it for spice.Drive through more busy than in restaurant. Overall good and quick service.“
“Chicken was a little dry, maybe sitting out too long, or it was overcooked. Usually, I have good experience with the chiken, always being hot n fresh. Maybe this was just a one-off. Order Mac n cheese and got mashed potatoes instead, which were good. Tried the fish sandwich. i would definitely order it again. Also, the blackened grilled chicken sandwich was also a winner in my book. Best grilled chicken sandwich i had in a long time. Definitely will be back.“
