“I recently had the filet with a lobster tail at The St. Paul Grill, and it was outstanding. The filet was cooked perfectly, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. The lobster tail was fresh, buttery, and paired perfectly with the steak. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, making it a great spot for a date night, special occasion, or simply a great meal in downtown St. Paul. The service was attentive and professional, and the overall dining experience exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch steak and seafood dinner.“

“Fun family friendly restaurant. Been coming here for years and never had a bad meal. If you’re in Saint Paul, don’t hesitate to stop in!“

“A nice place and we had an amazing young man as our waiter. My complaint is $25 per drink, that’s a bit steep for a normal cocktail especially when there are 5 in your group that’s $125 for drinks without any food added on so just a bit too pricey for the normal traveler to stop at.“

“I recently went in with my girlfriend and we had a server named Kat. She was incredible everytime I could even think of anything to ask for she was already bringing it, never needed a refill and also never seemed like she was ever interrupting. If there is better service out there I have never had it!“

“On top of having great service the food was amazing. I had half a dozen Oysters, they were delicious and the King Crab leg with there ranch and cheese mashed potatoes. It was a lot of food but the best I’ve had. I’d say they were as good as or better than the Oceanaire downtown Minneapolis. Bill was $180 before the tip.“

“This is a mixed review. I’ve been here once for dinner and twice for lunch in the past. I like the charm of the place, it has that legacy steakhouse feel to it. I wasn’t blown away by their steak that I had there but it was certainly decent. The burgers tho, I’m actually a big fan of them with some sautéed onions. This morning I got some good news and I decided to treat myself to one of their burgers for lunch. I got there pretty much when they opened and there was maybe two other tables of people at most. Ordered a 1/2 lb Burger , American and pepper jack cheese and sautéed onions. Burger came out….. server dropped it off and was gone for over 5 minutes…. There were no onions. She comes back and I show her I didn’t receive the onions. She said she’d take it off my tab. Brought me my tab. The onions were still on it… I pointed it out that she hadn’t removed them from the bill … she took the bill with my card to run it and take the onions off. She came Back with a bill that still had the onions on it!!! Aye aye yi…. I just paid and left. She was friendly and nice . Service has always been friendly. But it wasn’t like you were in the middle of a big lunch rush. Long story short you forgot my onions but charged me for them and wasn’t able to remove it from my tab after 2 attempts. Kind of soiled my experience today.“
