“Stars should be more like 3-1/2 due to how long everything took. We came here just to eat. The dining area wasn't very full, but it took quite awhile to get water and menus. Then a very long time before our orders were taken. AND then a very long time to get our food. All the waiting took almost an hour and a half. The food was good but not good enough to justify the wait.“

“always good. buffalo chicken alfredo nachos (with extra buffalo sauce) are amazing. don't get the pulled pork pizza. no sauce so it is extremely dry. the pulled pork even dries out and is like jerky after being cooked. it seems like it could be amazing with some bbq sauce or bourbon sauce. also ask to have the chicken wings with bourbon and buffalo. the combination. is pretty amazing.“

“Amazing Ethiopian food! Many of the "Americanized items" on the menu were not available, so we went with their recommendations on the most popular Ethiopian options.

Sambusa, cheesy fries, Melkka Special, and Shekla Tebs made up our meal. Dispite never having had ethnic foods like this, our kids absolutely loved it as well.

And of course we had some delicious Baklava to finish the meal.“

“Jule's Bistro is my first pick for all work related meetings, gathering with friends and date night. The food, the staff and the atmosphere make it a special place. Today I had breakfast. I ordered a hot chocolate (outstanding), you have your choice of many types of milk. I also ordered their oatmeal. It's a HUGE bowl full of dried berries, shaved coconut and slivered almonds. You can choose raw honey or real maple syrup (I've asked for brown sugar before) and choice of milk, half and half or cream. It's so filling. During our meeting our server kept our water and coffee cups full without ever being intrusive. My friend had coffee with an in-house syrup made with vanilla beans and Stevia. You can tell the employees really care about their customers. Thank you again! We are lucky to have you in our community.“

“The steak & shrimp is amazing. The waitress was so kind. A lady came into the cafe having a diabetic reaction, asking for a banana. The waitress helped her sit down and ran to give the lady orange juice. It was such a pleasure to witness this kindness. The world needs more people and places like The Old Creamery Cafe! “I’ve been coming to Val’s for a long time. Food is delicious! My concern is…. The guy who works the counter is wearing gloves for sanitation purposes. Yet, he is touching cash, credit cards, coins, the order screen, computer mouse, his personal gatorade beverage, french fries scoop, shake straws and touched his face. I literally saw him grab fries and throw them into a customers bag. Never once did he changed his gloves. Why even wear them? He also should be wearing a beard bag! Your food is very good, but your sanitation is lacking.“

Or with a sunday, they just can't seem to figure that out and I live at these places when I travel.Because they do have gluten free.They need to do more training and gluten free and always ask if you want a gluten free bun.Or if you do not want a gluten free bun.

I remember them trying this switch years ago and they did end up going back to Mayo. At least give us a choice between Miracle Whip and Mayo. Remainder of menu is great.“

“I've tried this place 2x within 60 days and both times were horrible experiences. once in de ilberville,Ms the other in mobile al. both places had a party of 15 both places convinces you to come in before hand to be added to wait-list which was 4 hrs in advance get to place about 15 minutes before time and they advise it's a 45 minute wait. we agreed to wait the time passes we were now waiting over a hour. yes we asked for manager n they said they waiting on tables. meanwhile people around us being seated with upto 8 people in party I asked if they could seat us in different area. the one manager in mobile al cut me off and said no and kept talking over me. Her name was Terica. poor customer service and unfriendly. she didn't like being questioned or me asking her to seat us in different area since the table she made us come in and be posted on wait-list before us arriving. which is a lie. you should never state for someone to come in beforehand to be listed if your not planning on keeping your end of agreement. I will never eat at any Texas Roadhouse nor will I recommend“

“I went to Job Sims house for a service call for his air conditioner not working. Jon immediately offered me breakfast as he is a cook at granite city. I politely declined and continued working. After I finished fixing his air conditioner Jon comes out with a plate of food saying it wasn’t in his nature to not give out food. I went back to the shop and ate the best homemade burrito I have ever had. Jon was not only one of the nicest people I have met but also one of the best cooks. You will not be disappointed going to granite city and receiving a meal made by Jon!“

The restaurant is setup in a very esthetic 1920's and older fashion with outdoor dining next to the river. “The Pickled Loon is definitely a hotspot for the younger crowd, but it's one of the few places around where you can really let loose and dance. While I’m a bit older and don't frequent it often, I never miss a chance to go when my younger friends want to hit the dance floor. Like any good college bar, there’s the occasional scuffle, but I’ve never felt unsafe—it's mostly between people who know each other.
