Food was ready- cooked to order- HOT, flavorful. NOT greasy or oily. Things without seafood didn't taste like seafood. SO impressed!!!! Then the price was SO reasonable - Over the TOP great experience. Made my night.“

“My family has always loved ordering from Eddie Chang, and it’s truly the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. We’ve tried other places, but nothing compares to Eddie Chang’s quality and flavor. The staff is always incredibly kind, and the owner is a sweetheart who remembers my name and makes every takeout experience special. I also have some dietary restrictions, and she’s always been so accommodating and helpful. It’s always a wonderful experience.“

“We had a reservation for 7 - in the notes I specified 6 adults and a high chair. I could see our table had 7 adult seating's so I had to ask the hostess to fix that. Also specified we were there for a birthday celebration, again those notes must not make their way to the actual restaurant or they don't read them. When we checked in (we were 14 minutes early) for our reservation we were told we couldn't be seated until our actual reservation time. The restaurant had plenty of help and we didn't have our complete party with us which they knew and we were not expecting to order right away rather we just wanted to sit and relax. The food and waitress were great“

We come here often and even visited for Christmas dinner last year — our experience is consistently exceptional.

Right off the bat this place is CLEAN. Floors, tables, everything is really tidy and sanitary.
You'll be brought a pot complimentary jasmine tea right away which is heavenly. Truly the best jasmine tea I've had; not even remotely bitter tasting like other green teas. They must brew it very carefully.

The service is always speedy too, regardless of how busy it is, every time we are surprised by how quickly our fresh food is ready! They’re efficient in the kitchen.

Our favorite thing on the menu is the Garlic Fried Sole fish! It melts in your mouth and the portion size is massive so it's a perfect entree to split.

The Asia Mall is fun to check out before or after dinner; we like to walk around the market afterward and take home some milk teas and candy. Parking is easy with the lot out front.

This really is a great destination; ever since Pagoda moved to Roseville we’d been missing our favorite Cantonese dishes and HomeTaste is easily the best Cantonese / Chinese food in the western part of the twin cities.“

Their food smashes all the other crap Chinese food out of the park, it is not fake and warmed up from frozen big brand standard like Panda Express ect. It is made fresh to order and is the best. “We’ve been coming here since I was about eight years old and now I’m almost forty, they are hands down THE best Chinese food I’ve ever had and we’ve tried many places. Once, during COVID times we were waiting outside with some other customers for our order when someone walked up and asked us if this place was any good. Everyone just lit up started gushing about how wonderful they are, their favorite meals, and all the years and (and decades for many of them like myself) they’ve been coming here! (-: It is actually the only store on that entire strip mall that has been there since I was little, all the others have changed several times over, but not them, so that should tell you a lot! “A year ago I had an allergic reaction to shrimp, so I stopped eating shrimp. Today my wife ordered me wings tossed in Oyster sauce. I didn't think much of it. After two wings, I had the same allergy symptoms as I had with shrimp a year ago. I guess I developed a shellfish allergy in my adulthood.

Jennifer was incredibly kind and exchanged our food with no questions after we told her about our allergy situation. We really appreciate the understanding! 5/5 customer service. Food and atmosphere solid too.“

“My wife and I have been here many times this year and the food is always very good, fresh and delicious. I ordered the Chicken with Rice Noodles and asked for a side of Cilantro, Lime and Lettuce. The noodles and the thin sliced chicken were perfectly cooked and savory.

My wife had the Triple Delight, the whole platter was delicious, the beef was very tender while the broccoli, snow peas and other fresh vegetables were perfectly colorful and crisp.

I also loved the Vietnamese coffee:)

Recently we ordered our favorites and the size of white rice that comes with the food was extremely small, like the size of a child’s school milk carton. Usually, it’s the same size of the food.“
