“Was shopping in ridgedale and wasn’t able to find something I wanted to eat.. then the smell of orange chicken hit my nose.. looked over and saw Leann Chin calling my name. Must of been fate, as I walked up to look at the food choice the lady working up front came from the back with a fresh pan of orange chicken.. seeing that sealed the deal!! I ordered the orange chicken with noodles and fried rice, got a soda as well. The prices are decent but the food was great! Fresh tasting and quick. Having this made the rest of my day go well.

“We had a reservation for 7 - in the notes I specified 6 adults and a high chair. I could see our table had 7 adult seating's so I had to ask the hostess to fix that. Also specified we were there for a birthday celebration, again those notes must not make their way to the actual restaurant or they don't read them. When we checked in (we were 14 minutes early) for our reservation we were told we couldn't be seated until our actual reservation time. The restaurant had plenty of help and we didn't have our complete party with us which they knew and we were not expecting to order right away rather we just wanted to sit and relax. “This one is a pretty solid Hong Kong style restaurant located inside Asia Mall in Eden Prairie, MN. It is on the first floor on the right side next to Kiefer bakery. This is also another HK style restaurant with real roast duck and roast pork. Surprisingly this place is not as busy as Mandarin Kitchen (MK) or Hong Kong Noodles (HKN) during the weekend. There are some plusses from this place: 1. They have Lunch Specials everyday, not just M-F like most others. 2. Their price for the quantity and quality is much better compared to MK or HKN 3. They do not charge extra for tea. 4. They do not automatically 18 percent gratuity in their bill. 5. Their service is much better than the other HK style restaurants with servers often refilling your drinks and removing or replacing your plates without being requested.
My recommendation: #1. Roast Duck and Roast Pork over rice for $18.50. #2. Pork and Egg Porridge for $6.50. Can't beat that price and quality. They also have live lobsters apparently but I did not try them yet.“

“This place has still got it. Very hole-in-the-wall vibes, but the pho is the best I've found in Minneapolis and the burbs. Bun with pork and spring rolls (#46) is also very good, and don't sleep on the VN Wings! They are not an appetizer as much as they are a hearty side. The flavor is intensely good, so if you have a sensitive pallete, they may be too much for you.

The owner is kind and helpful, and the rest of the family is pretty great, too.

The Vietnamese side of the menu is really where they shine, so pass on your orange chicken and get some pho or something.“

“This is a strictly take out/ delivery place so there is no dine in option. The storefront is purely functional and serves as semi storage for restaurant materials. That said, the food is good. I had a bad experience here maybe 12 years ago but it has clearly changed ownership and chefs since then. The food here is SOLID for that nostalgic American Chinese food! The hot and sour soup is epitome of what it should be (I was raised in my parents’ Chinese restaurants so I know) and the fried wing appetizers are terrific. My kids are obsessed. We also always get General Tso’s Chicken which every kid loves. I’ve also enjoyed Singapore noodles and Indonesian fried chicken ice here. Super glad to have a decent Chinese takeout in my neighborhood!“

“This place recently went through some big changes. It’s an actual restaurant now with good seating. Pho has always been 10/10 here though. Definitely the best true Vietnamese spot in south Minneapolis. Everything on the menu tastes good. Can’t go wrong. Try something new.“

“Mandarin has quickly become one of my favorite spots for great Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. Their pho broth is perfectly spiced and absolutely delicious. The bun vermicelli noodle salad with pork meatballs and egg roll is refreshing and so tasty. A couple other excellent choices have been the Szechuan pork and the beef chow fun. Definitely give the pork egg rolls a try. The employees there are hard working, the perfect amount of attentive and very friendly. It’s definitely a hidden hole in the wall gem with excellent food and very friendly staff.“

“Best Pho I've had in MN. Definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for Pho. With Pho, it's about the broth and the broth has a good depth of flavor. Good amount of toppings to add and just overall perfectly satisfying. The service was great. They do have regular unsweetened tea here, but when i told them what i was looking for, they pointed out their signature SWEET tea. Foood & all is Food & will be going back.“

“Through some growing pains of new ownership, this remains the best Chinese takeout option in Maple Grove, no contest. The fried rice is Thai style, and delicious! Sesame chicken is different than anywhere else, crispy and sweet but also a bit of heat. Cream cheese wontons and egg rolls have been just okay, but everything else has been great. We still love Yu Fong! The new owners have made a real effort to connect with their customers and we see that and appreciate it!“
