“This place recently went through some big changes. It’s an actual restaurant now with good seating. Pho has always been 10/10 here though. Definitely the best true Vietnamese spot in south Minneapolis. Everything on the menu tastes good. Can’t go wrong. Try something new.“

Good amount of toppings to add and just overall perfectly satisfying. “My favorite Chinese food place. I used to live near, but the drive is still worth it even after moving farther away. I highly recommend the orange chicken, beef lo mein, and cream cheese wontons. The storefront itself is small, so I recommend takeout or delivery.“

“Dayana O was our server, she was great. Thoughtful and observant, she made this restaurant visit with 3 little kids much easier. As for the food, the stir fry was good, & the kids enjoyed the dumplings and edamame. I did think the food was overpriced & the buttered noodles - even the kids complained had too much butter! I do like stir fry, especially with a choose-your-own part, I was glad to have found this place for that reason!“

“Mandarin has quickly become one of my favorite spots for great Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. Their pho broth is perfectly spiced and absolutely delicious. The bun vermicelli noodle salad with pork meatballs and egg roll is refreshing and so tasty. A couple other excellent choices have been the Szechuan pork and the beef chow fun. Definitely give the pork egg rolls a try. The employees there are hard working, the perfect amount of attentive and very friendly. It’s definitely a hidden hole in the wall gem with excellent food and very friendly staff.“

Service is fast, the place is clean, and prices are reasonable, especially if you've got one of their BOGO coupons from the app. Knocking off a star because it can be hit or miss depending on timing — go too close to closing and the trays have clearly been sitting a while, rice a little dried out. “My waitress was extremely attentive to my needs. I know that PF Chang's food is always pretty salty but still wanted to see if it has changed. It's still the same so it's not to my liking. Overall, I got very good service. One thing I would like to point out is that I asked to sit in a booth. There weren't many people at the time I dined there, but the front desk person was somewhat reluctant to assign me a booth table. She kept asking if I really wanted to sit in a booth since I was only one person. This was the first time in a restaurant that the person assigning the table was reluctant to honor my request when the restaurant is pretty empty.“
