“This place has still got it. Very hole-in-the-wall vibes, but the pho is the best I've found in Minneapolis and the burbs. Bun with pork and spring rolls (#46) is also very good, and don't sleep on the VN Wings! They are not an appetizer as much as they are a hearty side. The flavor is intensely good, so if you have a sensitive pallete, they may be too much for you.

The owner is kind and helpful, and the rest of the family is pretty great, too.

The Vietnamese side of the menu is really where they shine, so pass on your orange chicken and get some pho or something.“

Everything was fresh and delicious seasoned perfectly and the portions were enormous. Easily could share one dish for two. But get your own leftovers are wonderful . I’ve tried a few types, but the extra-thin ones in their soups are my favorite. Everything I’ve had so far has been great, full of flavor, and made with care. This place really fills a gap for something like this in Minneapolis, and I’m so happy to have it so close to home!“

“We absolutely love Rainbow Chinese! The food is always fresh and delicious. My go-to quick comfort food is their warm sesame noodles. My partner enjoys their General Tso’s Chicken every time. The restaurant itself is beautiful and I love seeing the fish in the tank when we dine in (but the food is also hot and packed great if you get to go). This place clearly has been created with love!“

“Delicious traditional Chinese, the fish in bean sauce was exceptional. The apps were standard fare for good Chinese establishments and the got and sour soup was chocked full of food ingredients and was delicious. A bit on the pricey side of Chinese resteraunts but we were not disappointed.“

“We really like their food. We lived by them in the 90's and always ordered it. We don't like any of the Chinese places out by us in Lakeville so we tried Do Hos again about a year ago and get it from there whenever we want Chinese. Very good. And the people that work there are great.“

“Delicious. After two years of searching, this is the best Sesame Chicken in Minnesota, hands down. Plus the udon noodles are excellent, the lo mein and mooshu are exactly what they're supposed to be, and such a tender beef and broccoli. No longer going anywhere else.“

“We had a reservation for 7 - in the notes I specified 6 adults and a high chair. I could see our table had 7 adult seating's so I had to ask the hostess to fix that. Also specified we were there for a birthday celebration, again those notes must not make their way to the actual restaurant or they don't read them. When we checked in (we were 14 minutes early) for our reservation we were told we couldn't be seated until our actual reservation time. The restaurant had plenty of help and we didn't have our complete party with us which they knew and we were not expecting to order right away rather we just wanted to sit and relax. “Love this place! Always great food and service. My favorite dish is the sesame chicken combination platter. It comes with chicken, fried rice and an egg roll. I also get a side of cream cheese wontons. I order from here at least once a month!“

“This one is a pretty solid Hong Kong style restaurant located inside Asia Mall in Eden Prairie, MN. It is on the first floor on the right side next to Kiefer bakery. This is also another HK style restaurant with real roast duck and roast pork. Surprisingly this place is not as busy as Mandarin Kitchen (MK) or Hong Kong Noodles (HKN) during the weekend. There are some plusses from this place: 1. They have Lunch Specials everyday, not just M-F like most others. 2. Their price for the quantity and quality is much better compared to MK or HKN 3. They do not charge extra for tea. 4. They do not automatically 18 percent gratuity in their bill. 5. Their service is much better than the other HK style restaurants with servers often refilling your drinks and removing or replacing your plates without being requested.
My recommendation: #1. Roast Duck and Roast Pork over rice for $18.50. #2. Pork and Egg Porridge for $6.50. Can't beat that price and quality. They also have live lobsters apparently but I did not try them yet.“

“Fiancé ran over to get some take out. I asked for the steamed veggies/white rice from the diet menu. He knows I don't like mushrooms, so he asked if the dish had them. It does, but they prepared an order without them for me. Those veggies were WONDERFUL, and the white rice was perfect--(NOT all dried out, like some places). The sauce that was included may have been for the veggies, or may have been for fiancé's order of beef w/peapods and mushrooms...either way, there was plenty; and it was wonderful on my rice and veggies! “This place recently went through some big changes. It’s an actual restaurant now with good seating. Pho has always been 10/10 here though. Definitely the best true Vietnamese spot in south Minneapolis. Everything on the menu tastes good. Can’t go wrong. Try something new.“

“Visited the Golden Valley, MN location after a busy day. We didn’t realized they closed at 8:30 pm. There was a staff that was taking out the trash. Even though he said they were closed he still went above and beyond and served us. We were so grateful and appreciative of this incredible kindness and customer service!“

“This is a strictly take out/ delivery place so there is no dine in option. The storefront is purely functional and serves as semi storage for restaurant materials. That said, the food is good. I had a bad experience here maybe 12 years ago but it has clearly changed ownership and chefs since then. The food here is SOLID for that nostalgic American Chinese food! The hot and sour soup is epitome of what it should be (I was raised in my parents’ Chinese restaurants so I know) and the fried wing appetizers are terrific. My kids are obsessed. We also always get General Tso’s Chicken which every kid loves. I’ve also enjoyed Singapore noodles and Indonesian fried chicken ice here. Super glad to have a decent Chinese takeout in my neighborhood!“

“The Highland Park location is always a pleasure to experience. The food is fresh.
I usually do take out but at this location the atmosphere is a fun place to dine in.
My favorite part about the experience are two employees Gabi and Daniela. Their pleasant personalities and service oriented attitudes are always fantastic.“

A Chin Dynasty (2 half-entrees with rice) or an Imperial Plate (1 half-entree and 1 half-appetizer with rice) will usually result with leftovers for me. The Peking Chicken is a fan favorite. Good amount of toppings to add and just overall perfectly satisfying. We did not try the other selections today but judging from the full flavors of the soup, I am confident in the other food selections. Can't wait to return to try the Banh Mi Sandwiches another day.“

Been enjoying the General’s Chix and Wonton soup from Fresh Wok since 1997.
We live 35 minutes south of Mpls and this is the only Chinese takeout my family will have cuz they’re that GOOD!!!
Fresh, Real Chix breast chunks and a delicious sauce combined to make the most consistent dish we’ve ever had.
Will continue to enjoy when coming to the cities.

“A native Chinese and I dined Saturday night inside, although there were more take-outs than dine-in. The Singapore noodles, spicy bamboo tips, lamb Beijing style, Sichuan seared long beans all were excellent. Highly recommend, great friendly service!“

“For the one in Plymouth Minnesota, FINALLY some sweet tea. If you live in Minneapolis, Minnesota, you know, findind a place that sells sweet tea is hard. As if there was a sugar shortage in the area. Anyway!
The service was great. They do have regular unsweetened tea here, but when i told them what i was looking for, they pointed out their signature SWEET tea. Foood & all is Food & will be going back.“
