It’s also conveniently located in Dinkytown, which makes it easy to get to, although parking in the area can be a challenge.

The restaurant doesn’t seem to specialize in spicy food, which may actually be a plus for many people who prefer milder flavors.

“We have always loved this restaurant. Our favorite to bulk order and eat for days. Today, I brought my one year old to pick up our order and without saying a word the worker insisted on helping me bring my giant bag to my car. In Minnesota fashion I would have loved to protest that I can do it myself, but there was no question, she was going to help me. I was a little concerned how I was going to carry things, so it was a godsend that she was so happy to help without ever making me feel bad. This type of customer service is not something I come across everyday anymore and I am so forever grateful to see people happy, happy to help, and genuinely making peoples days better beyond just being part of really tasty food. “This place never fails. No pics because the food never lasts long enough for us to remember. Huge portions, fantastic flavor, cash only hole in the wall type of place.

Edit to add, there's another comment complaining about the sesame chicken coming separate (sauce in one container and chicken in the other). This is exactly the reason this place is good: they think about how the food will be texture-wise when you get home. Mix the sauce at home and you still get crispy chicken! They know what they're doing! TRUST!

We always get the house fried rice and pork lo mein. Cream cheese wanton are also fantastic.

You can get probably 5-6 servings of food for like $30 which is unheard of in the cities. I love Huies!!!!!!!“

“Saigon Pho Tempo is my go-to for all my pho needs! Their pho broth is rich with deep flavor, and it’s always consistent, which I really appreciate. I always know that my pho will be amazing every single time I order it, and it also travels extremely well when I take it home to enjoy! They also make a Thai tea that is absolutely insane. They brew the tea themselves, not the powder, and you can taste the difference. It’s my “at least once a week” meal that I enjoy, and it’s my comfort food I just love.
