“This restaurant does not have tap to pay so bring cash or a physical card.I had Oolong tea, shrimp toast, and special Pho. I asked for fish sauce and chili oil also. The tea was great perfect temperature and flavor. The shrimp toast was disappointing. It looked burnt but didn’t really taste burnt so I didn’t return it. It may the oil it’s cooked in. It was also very greasy. You could see the oil ooze when it was cut. (See video & empty plate). The Pho was pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised because I don’t usually like darker broth.“
“Narain and his crew were great! I decided to drive to the Richfield location and order inside. I was ordering for the family and needed a little help in figuring out the best options size for my family. I'm so glad I went in! So helpful (with big smiles) they informed me about a 4 minute wait for fresh chicken. This was just one of the tips and guidance they gave me! I'll definitely come back to this location and take the time to go inside! It's worth it to see the smiles and amazing customer service.Happy customer,KAY“
“I thought I had written a review for this place already, oops, my bad. I love, love, love this place! Came here on a weeknight and it was packed. I did not make reservation but we got lucky by snatching two chairs at the bar. It is small inside but worth the wait. The staff was super efficient and friendly, there were two girls and one guy. The guy helped us with drinks and ordering our food. I am so sorry I forgot his name, but you could tell how hardworking they all were. We both ordered Potsticker Duet (highly recommend): *shrimp, Angus beef, chives *tofu mushroom kale *dill pork *kimchi pork My favorite was dill pork, it goes well with old godmother hot sauce. Honestly all the potstickers were amazing and their list of dipping sauce was great too. A female chef (we think she is the owner) came out of the kitchen and asked us how we are doing, and she gave us some kimchi she made the same day for samplings. Everything was delicious and the drinks were top notch, of course I always get my favorite drink, old fashioned with Japanese whiskey. Superb place.“
“Excellent selection of food. If you are going to try it plan to come back. You can get a great lunch/dinner just trying their apps. The szechuan dumplings are amazing. The sauce can be used on the rest of your meal. All the dumplings are amazing.“
“Great little restaraunt. The owners are very loving people and showed a lot of love to my two kids when we dined in. They gifted my kids some candy and toys. I truly appreciate the hospitality they shared with us. The food was great. We ordered the special pho which was delicious and the egg rolls were huge.We would definitely eat here again. Appreciate the owners for being such loving people.Kid-friendliness: They love kids“
“This place owns the bragging rights to the best beef noodle soup selection in Edina. The cuisine is listed as Taiwanese not Hong Kong style which is an excellent departure from the usual wonton dumpling fare. As it was a Monday, the service was quick even with a party table of ten people seated before us.“
“Very basic place and environment with a deli style vibe. But dont judge their food by the looks because the food is GREAT! IT IS TRIP WORTHY.Every dish was full of freshness and flavor. We ordered pho, wonton soup, house special porkchop, orange chicken.Food came out fast, only minor negative was how slow our glass of waters got filled. But customer service was VERY nice and kind.Overall 5 star review.“
“This is a yummy new spot for us to enjoy!Try the fried noodles. That was our favorite dish. We also loved the scallion pancake. It was nice and crisp and had a light/non-greasy flavor. We found the whole experience enjoyable. The friendly staff and very clean environment will have us back again as well.“
“Today, we ordered the Legendary Dry Chili Chicken and Mapo Tofu, and we enjoyed the tongue-numbing Sichuan peppercorns in both dishes. This is the most authentic Sichuan restaurants in the Twin Cities and it is our go-to spot for Chinese cuisine. Their Twice Cooked Pork and Garlic Cucumbers are also excellent dishes. The service is great and the location is so conveniently located off I-94 by the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.“
“I ordered this through doordash.Their Pork Eggroll is HUGE! and has lots of flavor, and it's crunchy not rubbery! their sesame chicken is also amazing! Best Chinese chicken I've ever had ! very crunchy and lots of flavor! I will definitely order from here again ! only reason for 4 stars is I specifically asked for utensils and didn't get any so I had to go around asking coworkers in hopes they had a fork! But food is well worth ordering again!! Highly recommend!“
“There is a 4% fee for credit cards.I ordered the shrimp and pork spring rolls. The spring rolls and sauce were excellent; the pho not so much. I didn’t like the broth and they use wide rice noodles. My other favorite item is their wonton soup.On another note, there is a section of the dining that is for employees only. The person working the register was also preparing vegetables. Not one time did I see them without wash their hands. If you have to prep food, wash your hands after handling money.“
“Food is AhhhhMAZing!! We usually go to the Burnsville Cam Ranh Bay and have been going there for YEARS. Was anxiously waiting for a Cam Ranh Bay to open up here in Eagan. And we were NOT disappointed. In fact we were pleasantly surprised that the food was so delicious. Even (dare I say) better than the Burnsville location.... *Gasp*.....I know I KNOW we were SURPRISED by this fact. We went on a Tuesday afternoon. The location is more of a "pick up" location. You do NOT go there for the atmosphere. There is NONE. Just a few "lunch tables" set up in a small area in front of where you order your food. But if you are looking for scrumptious mouth watering AUTHENTIC Vietnamese food THIS is the place for you! EVERYTHING we ordered was DELICIOUS. The Spicy Shrimp Noodle, Sesame Chicken, Chicken and Broccoli, Won Tons and Egg Rolls we ordered did NOT disappoint. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! And I am so ECSTATIC that it's so close to us. We definitely will be coming back for MORE.....Again and AGAIN. It's our NEW favorite Asian food place. (Sorry Burnsville) Lol“
“Great lunch menu and friendly service. I always getting the lunch Chicken Stir Fry with white rice and an egg roll which ends up being a total of $9.50 with tax. It is a great value considering the generous portion size. Take out only. The dining room is closed.“
“This place is one of the places we will miss moving to Iowa, very much. The people and food are wonderful! For over 35 years they never let us down. Visiting friends always wanted to eat here! If they ever start a place in the Des Moines/Indianola area we will be the first people through the doors!“
“Very nice restaurant & lots of good, fresh food. Very worth the price.Parking: Have to circle a bit of the parking lot to find a good place to walk close by.Kid-friendliness: Easy for kids with the atmosphere & the food that your child likes.“
“One of the closest Vietnamese restaurants in my area and the foods always great every time I come, especially the beef vermicelli noodles salad. The services were always great and quick. Also they have a big parking lot and lots of other great places nearby, very convenient. The price is also decent compared to other restaurants.“
“This Cantonese restaurant is not to be missed. We stumbled upon it when over by the U of M and couldn’t have been more impressed with the delicious food. We’ve been here several times now and our must-order is the salt and pepper beef short ribs hot pot,(picture included). The beef is so tender and perfectly seasoned, coming with onions, peppers, and a side of rice of course. Other dishes have been very enjoyable too. The staff is kind, quick to attend to you when you arrive, and clearly the cooks are experts in their field. What’s nice about here too is that it has a good dining atmosphere with a lot of eat-in patrons, not just operating primarily as a takeout joint like many Asian restaurants do. Highly recommend!“
“my fiancé and i love bills. we order their orange chicken for takeaway when we watch movies such as the vagrant and final destination 5. we have also had the cream cheese wontons which are great. real little pieces of orange peal in the orange chicken.“
“The go to place for dim sum. Family owned with a younger kid running the restaurants which always means the food is amazing. The dim sum menu is voluminous with the traditional dishes. Servers don’t walk around with carts but will walk around with plates of food. Hard to find that nowadays with the traditional carts. The food here is always fresh and busy. Definitely recommend to everyone!“
“Happened upon this gem when in the area and saw the old location and thought.. hey, Chinese sounds really good! Then realized that that location was no longer open so found the other location. Honestly, in terms of good, decent, clean, authentic, solid Chinese food, this is a gem. I got the moo goo gi pan (always a favorite) and to be honest, I loved this one. The garlic sauce was nice and light with the fresh veggies and perfectly tender chicken. Always served with white rice, it was amazing. I will definitely come back here for some solid Chinese food! Also, the service... honestly, we had the sweetest chatty lil waitress, she made it that much better!“
“Dumplings and dim sums were a great hit....loved it! Totally worth the price and the customer service is the best. I can't wait to go again! Very authentic and the pig intestines were the best I've had in a long time! Very crispy and flavorful duck , too!“
“I grabbed take out and everything was great. I ordered the chocolate wontons, Szechuan wontons, wonton noodle soup, chicken with black bean sauce and lo mein, and shrimp fried rice. The portions are huge and everything was fresh and flavorful.“
“The sign was not lit up so it’s not visible until you’re on top of the restaurant. We were greeted right away with a friendly smile and the food came out quick. We ordered the appetizer platter, didn’t care for the chicken wings, the breading was weird, but everything else was fine and you nothing tasted greasy. We shared the Triple Kung Pao that was beef, shrimp and chicken. It lacked spice but the flavor was good. It came with a nice size bowl of white rice. Canned soda only. Staff was lovely.“
“Wonderful quality at a great price! We called in an order closer to closing and the owner was kind enough to fulfill our request! You get great portions for a very affordable price, they have standard Asian American staple dishes as well as some creative options as well! We got beef chow fun (very tasty) chicken chow mien (chunky and NOT mush) and curry crab puffs (SO GOOD). A great find, I will definitely be a new regular!“
“Phenomenal! Fantastic! Superb! Delectable! Fabulous! Joyous! This restaurant is an absolute gem. A hidden gem in Roseville. Friendly staff! Tons of food! Great experience! More food than the average college dude can eat in a sitting. Worth driving across the world for. A must visit!“
“I LOVE this place. The food of always good in person. Delivery has been questionable. However, what I love most of the service!!!! We go here so much our server tests is as family! She always remembers us and our typical orders. Love seeing her every-time we go in for lunch or dinner.Parking: Totally open“
“Pho Real has become my regular spot for Vietnamese cuisine, especially their Hu Tieu Nam Vang and Banh canh ca (Crab udon soup). The recent restaurant redecoration has made it even better, with a spacious layout that's easy to navigate. They've expanded their menu with exciting additions like hotpot and garlic butter snails. The prices are reasonable, and the food is excellent, making it a great choice for family gatherings. The staff is friendly and laid-back, yet quick. Just a heads up, they charge an additional 3% for credit card payments, so bring your debit card if you have one.“
“Please was a favorite growing up in South Minneapolis. My family would always order from here. It does seem like it’s taking a step back from his heyday. I don’t know if it’s new ownership or not but I’ve ordered the same meal for nearly 15 years and it seems like the food is only ok. Very impersonal but it is take out so maybe that’s to be expected.“
“I came here since I was a child. So, the service is alright, they forget our drink, but we reminded them politely. The Atmosphere is fine. The food is OK, it's just that some of the food looks a bit off, but it's edible and delicious at least for me. 2 people for nearly 45 dollars isn't that bad. They have fruits, fried food, vegetables, sea food, and desserts. I'm giving this a 5 star since the food is delicious and there was no rude employees.“
“The best Chinese place I have had in Savage. The employees are always amazing. I have seen the same two young ladies running the cash every single time I've been in and they have been nothing but helpful and pleasant. I would continue eating here for their customer service alone but the food is SO good ?“
“Delicious food, beautiful, clean and very relaxing ambiance. Best chicken corn soup in the town, finally we can have some good quality soup somewhere and delicious crunchy cream cheese wontons and shrimp toasts were amazing too!Generous quantities, freshly made, and large venue for many gatherings to be celebrated in this blessed place!!“
“My deceased grandfather's favorite takeout. I love to go now and then for old times sake, bland but filling. Tasty if you like "American Chinese food" This is old school takeout Chinese. The stuff American servicemen back from the war made a staple for so many families from the 50s through the 80s. I'm nearly 60 and I went there with my grandfather as a child. The guy who founded it still ran it then. The food is hot and filling and the portions are big! Which is nice. The only drawbacks are NO CREDIT CARDS or electronic payment of any kind, they do take checks, but when is the last time you saw a checkbook? The other is they need an option for some more seasoning. They assume like most places that Minnesotan "Chow Mein" customers like traditional Midwestern blandness. I know they can make spicier food, but I don't know how to ask. They don't speak much English, and I'd like to find a way to say "Its wonderful, but please more seasoning in the chow mein"“
“My husband and I took our two grandkids (5 and 2) out for dinner for the 5 year old's birthday. The staff was helpful suggesting kids portions. They even gave us frosted fortune cookies. A perfect night.Kid-friendliness: They gave us a wet towel to clean messy faces that we couldn't clean with napkins.“
“Was craving sushi and Chinese, so decided to check this place out. I ordered to go and the food was still hot and crispy when I got home. The quality of the general tso’s chicken was really fresh, cream cheese wontons had lots of filling, and the fried chicken was flavorful, crunchy and juicy. Also, the sushi roll‘s rice to fish ratio was perfect! Will be back to try other dishes ?“
“I got a #12 lunch special and an order of the steamed dumplings. Cost came out to just under $19. The amount of food I got was a ton! Definitely worth the $$.The dumplings were by far the best I have had. Huge size and tasted great! Not a fan of the egg roll. It tasted like it had been rolled in sugar prior to being deep fried. Came off pretty sweet. The sesame chicken was good. Really liked the coating on the chicken. Sauce was ok. Not super spicy but chicken was a little dry.Nothing special about the fried rice. It’s like they just put white rice in the wok with some soy sauce and an egg. No real taste. Would be better if they put just a couple of peas or carrots with some seasonings.I will go back just for the dumplings!!“
“Got take out here for the first time. Food was great and portions were above par for sure! I especially enjoyed the crab rangoons (cream cheese wontons with crab) and the Mandarin Chicken Combo. I’m not really a fried rice person but this fried rice was awesome:) will come again!“
“Been getting delivery from here for about a year or so and I am rarely disappointed (I’ve never gotten BAD food, just sometimes it doesn’t slap AS HARD as others but it’s always good) . The General Tso chicken is always delicious, and the orange chicken has a good balance of spicy and sweet. Hot and sour soup is DELICIOUS, so is their cheese rangoons and donuts. They always deliver to me lightning fast with PIPING hot food. Literally the only Chinese place we order from and the prices are crazy low. I can’t believe how much food we get for such low amounts.“
“My favorite restaurant in the city. A hidden gem. I get the coconut curry with mock duck or the cashew one (vegan enough for me). Flavor is so good. Portions will have you full. Service is very kind. Usually quiet and peaceful. Parking available in the back.Vegetarian options: Most items can be made vegetarian/vegan“
“I've ordered from here multiple times, and food is delicious. However, their quantity for the price is smaller IMO. I do notice that if you order through Uber eats or google via pick-up, prices are way higher vs. Call-in. Sketchy from this standpoint. Dont expect top-notch customer service (it's zero to none). Lastly, this other time, I placed an order for pickup and the gal checking me out requested for tip so be prepared to tip! (Ridiculous since it's a pick-up order). The roast pork & eel over fried rice, beef chow fun, and jumbo shrimp are my favorite. ?“
“Service is not always great but the sesame chicken is the best I've ever had. I've been here 3 times in the last month just for the sesame chicken. It's that good. I'm sure there are other good items on the menu but I keep coming back for the same thing. It's crispy and always has the perfect amount of sauce. The fried rice has a bit too much black pepper for my taste but is still pretty good as well.“
“My go to take out place since 2016 when I was in college. Their Pad Thai is one of my favorites in the Twin Cities - I crave it all the time! Perfect Vietnamese egg rolls too. Owners are always extraordinarily sweet and welcoming! Can't say enough good!“
“Wanted to eat local in Minneapolis. Looked online for Chinese food in this had a high rating. The reading sad that the atmosphere was very basic, and it is. But who cares when the food is as good as it is! If you like Chinese food and you’re in the Minneapolis/st Paul area put this on your list of restaurants to try.I ordered the potstickers (see picture) and Chicken Kung Pow. Both were amazing!“
“We have been going there for years. Dining room no longer open since Covid. Tasty cuisine at great prices always hot and always leftovers. It is our go to just off Old Shakopee at Bloomington Ferry. A winding parking lot to get there. They never miss all the condiments and when orders exceed I think $50 you get hot sugared mini donuts as a perk. They are so nice there. When you call they give you a pickup number. Orders no longer than 15-20 minutes. I can smell the aroma in my head. Get the spicy chicken wing appetizer. Yummy!“
“Lao Sze Chuan makes some of the yummiest Sichuan food. Sichuan food is savory and spicy the Sichuan peppercorn makes your tongue tingling. It's something to become accustomed to because most people are use to eating HK style food and American Chinese which focuses on salty and sweet flavor profile. I enjoy the mapao tofu and sichuan boil fish. I always order these two!“
“This place is for carry out! Decent prices and great food. We ordered chicken lo Mein combo which was a huge order, comes with fried rice and 2 crab Rangoon (cheese wontons). Egg rolls were decent. The service was amazing, super nice and friendly and very welcoming.“
“Hands down, the best Massamon curry and Panang curry in Minnesota. Have tried every other Thai restaurant in the state but nothing comes close to this. Service is awesome too, smiling faces are rare to see these days. Best ask for Medium and then add some chilly flakes, this gives the best combo of flavor and heat. Please keep on cooking the best curries. ?“
“The food here is delicious and the lunch mean prices are unbeatable!!!! They have a wide variety of Chinese entrees during lunch time for $6-$8 and it comes with white rice or chicken fried rice. This place is always busy and there is a reason why! Highly recommend!“
“Awesome, Food was absolutely delicious and the guy at the desk and the chef were super nice, too bad they only had us as the customers but the vibe was super chill and relaxed, definitely 10/10. Best indian food. (The bread the softest i've seen in america)Parking: Great and spacious“
“Today I had the wonderful experience of being served by Sam at the bar for dinner. His customer service and attention to detail is the reason I will be returning back. Working in Hospitality myself it's very difficult to find someone who has a natural niche in the customer service industry. Keep up the Great work!“
“Always great food prepared fresh! Looks like a typical hole in the wall Chinese food place, but I've been very happy with the food quality & only ever do takeout anyways, so I don't care about the atmosphere.Vegetarian options: Several options for vegetarian, and they are particular to make it separately as wellKid-friendliness: My kids like the food just fine“
