“This is a yummy new spot for us to enjoy!Try the fried noodles. That was our favorite dish. We also loved the scallion pancake. It was nice and crisp and had a light/non-greasy flavor. We found the whole experience enjoyable. The friendly staff and very clean environment will have us back again as well.“
“Loved the food. Best eggrolls I have ever head. And the wonton soup was so comforting on a cold wet day. The women who took my order and rang me out was friendly. She was very thankful for my business and when I paid and tipped in cash she gave me a chocolate truffle as a thank you. I will be returning to the place to try more food. The inside of the restaurant could use a little work in my opinion and I should have asked for the prices and receipt but it wasn’t a big deal for a small first time order“
“Authentic Chinese restaurant! Portions are really big and 1 dish is good for 3-4 people. Atmosphere is great. It can get really busy during peak hours but the wait is short and they accept reservations. Don't go home before tasting there free dessert at the end of the meal!“
“Best chowmeain restaurant ever I been going eating here since I was a kid 40 years ago wow still kicken it go Leo's best Chinese food around stop here for Chinese food great staff prices and more family known businesses thanks 5 star more like 100 “
“The service was amazing. The staff took the time to answer all my questions and made sure my order was correct. Food was good, large portion for the price. I give it 4/5 as my food was not as spicy as I thought for medium but now I know. Would recommend“
“I went here after moving to the area. The lady working the register was nice and friendly. They do have a small amount of seating at the restaurant but they're mostly to go. I ordered the egg drop soup and cheese wontons, egg drop soup was very good and it's huge! I didn't care for the cream cheese wontons- the wonton itself was harder and seemed over fried and the cream cheese filling didn't have much flavor other than cream cheese. My bf got the Mongolian beef mild and chicken friend rice. Both portions were good sizes. The chicken fried rice was a good amount and next time he will try the medium spice for the Mongolian beef. Mild was basically no spice at all, plain. We will return again.“
“My husband and I took our two grandkids (5 and 2) out for dinner for the 5 year old's birthday. The staff was helpful suggesting kids portions. They even gave us frosted fortune cookies. A perfect night.Kid-friendliness: They gave us a wet towel to clean messy faces that we couldn't clean with napkins.“
“They are such an adorable family run restaurant that always has amazing food!!! I live nearby and often walk over to get food and they are so welcoming! Im a big supporter of small businesses cause my family grew up with a small business so you can say i have an affinity maybe even a bias towards small mom n pop shops!“
“I've been going here (well actually began eating at the original location next door) for over 25 years! It is my very favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the world! So sad to see it close! We have celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, etc. The family has always been so kind. Mai Village you will be greatly missed!“
“Their dumplings are a meal in itself. The absolute thickest dumplings I have found in the area and goes good with their legit chili oil dipping sauce. I would not be surprised if they handmade these themselves. I like their thick lomein noodles too.More of a "To-Go" place but they do have a few small tables you can eat at inside.“
“Pretty decent food in a convenient location. I was visiting one of the shops on arcade and did not notice this restaurant was here. It was kind of hidden. I think they need a sign on the sidewalk or something like that. But they had great service and good pho. The atmosphere was a chill vibe and it was kind of quiet. In my opinion the egg rolls and the beef Pho is a good combination“
“Kim's is a neat spot for fast take-out Chinese food. Love their beef fried rice and their chow mein. Used to get their fried chicken wings back in the day as well. A heads up that Kim's have changed to completely take-out and no dine-in. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can park on either Marshall in the front of the restaurant or in the back parking lot behind the restaurant, just walk through the back door.“
“St. Paul skyway staple! Most people show up for the lunch deal which delivers a mountain of pretty good food at a solid price. I like to get their beef and meatball pho which is surprisingly great! For me, their broth is spot on and I just wish that they had more option for protein and fixins. One quirk is they the peppers they provide vary wildly in heat some days you get very mild jalapeños the next day you might get Serrano level heat. A very fun work lunch roulette, especially while eating with coworkers. The line is pretty long during the lunch rush, but it moves pretty quick.“
“I've been here twice now, and every time we've been greeted like we're family. Sam was our server, and he went above and beyond to help me customize my order due to diet restrictions. He was very patient and nice. He made us feel welcomed and like family. The food is amazing. I always get the ChowFun and every time it's more amazing then the last time! Food is really seasoned and fresh never disappoints.“
“This was my first time coming here because I just moved here recently. I ordered some chicken fried rice, chicken lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, and egg foo yung. The food was so good, fresh, and reasonable compared to other restaurants. The front desk lady is so kind and welcoming. The service is really good and didn't take long for my order. I strongly recommend this place and I definitely will come back.“
“Food was hot and fresh from the kitchen. Service is "buffet" style behind a glass shield. You tell the associate what you want and they dish it up for you. They give ample portions and ask if your plate looks good, if yes you move down the line and pay, if not they add what you want more of. Prices are reasonable and associates were very polite! Love their lemon chicken, and the best Asian noodles in town. We always stop here when in St Paul!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian optionsParking: Shared parking lot with several other businesses.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide open spaces between tables. Easy for wheelchairs to use tables.“
“Best Chinese food in America, hands-down, period!!!Consistently great food and the most amazing service.Vegetarian options: YesKid-friendliness: My daughter loves this place and the ol gal that works there is always so kind.Parking: Easy parkingDietary restrictions: Whatevr you need“
“A group of us went here for a friend’s birthday dinner. Our server was attentive and all the food was amazing! We shared a lot of different things. My favorite appetizers were the Szechuan dumplings, the cream cheese wontons, and the scallion pancakes! I also tried some lo mein which was pretty good. The chicken and broccoli was great - the chicken was very tender. Everything was really fresh and delicious. Plus they give you huge portions and the price is very reasonable! I will definitely be sure to come back here and try even more menu items!Dietary restrictions: I noticed that they had a lot of gluten free options on the menu!Parking: It’s located in a strip mall so the parking is somewhat limited.“
“Pretty good spot to grab casual Chinese fare. I recommend the Kung Pao chicken or tofu. Portions are very shareable so don't let the prices keep you from trying them out. I thoughy the Dan Dan noodles were a let down. Not enough sauce (though the sauce was quite good) and overcooked noodles (perhaps due to takeout and better ordered fresh). The scallion pancake is nice. Very thick and bready but tasty nonetheless. Great dipping sauce with that. Mongolian beef was a little watered down in flavor. Something I'd consider if in the neighborhood but not my first choice for Chinese-American.“
“I thought I had written a review for this place already, oops, my bad. I love, love, love this place! Came here on a weeknight and it was packed. I did not make reservation but we got lucky by snatching two chairs at the bar. It is small inside but worth the wait. The staff was super efficient and friendly, there were two girls and one guy. The guy helped us with drinks and ordering our food. I am so sorry I forgot his name, but you could tell how hardworking they all were. We both ordered Potsticker Duet (highly recommend): *shrimp, Angus beef, chives *tofu mushroom kale *dill pork *kimchi pork My favorite was dill pork, it goes well with old godmother hot sauce. Honestly all the potstickers were amazing and their list of dipping sauce was great too. A female chef (we think she is the owner) came out of the kitchen and asked us how we are doing, and she gave us some kimchi she made the same day for samplings. Everything was delicious and the drinks were top notch, of course I always get my favorite drink, old fashioned with Japanese whiskey. Superb place.“
