We went for a second time tonight with a group of 7 and everything was fantastic. Portions are generous for the price. The Seaweed salad was truly exceptional. We also enjoyed the cucumber salad. It's quite amazing how fast dishes come out, even when they're busy! Sometimes you need to signal the waitstaff which is not a bad thing as you don't feel pressured or rushed.“

“I’ve only visited this place twice, but both experiences were very good. It’s not a fancy restaurant, but the food was good, and the service was surprisingly good, especially considering the price.

You can certainly spend more money at a fancier or more authentic Chinese restaurant, but for the price, I think this place is a solid 5/5 in terms of value.

It’s also conveniently located in Dinkytown, which makes it easy to get to, although parking in the area can be a challenge.

The restaurant doesn’t seem to specialize in spicy food, which may actually be a plus for many people who prefer milder flavors.

I’m going back to this place for sure in the near future, perhaps next week.“

We went there after a long time.
Food was ok. Their dinner combo lacks quality and was not great.
Spicy chicken was sweet instead of spicy.
They lack spiciness they had years ago.

We asked for shrimp fried to be spicy but it was not!
Server was nice but seemed to have been over tired and was irritated at times.
Which was interesting to note.

“I stumbled on this place accidentally ?I was going to rainbow and then met “The Cookie Man” and he told me that they sell his cookies at this restaurant so I was only going to the store for the cookies but then the other day I asked a customer how was the food, the man said it was the best fried rice in Minneapolis. I said “what, it hits like that, I got to try it…” and I did. Now for my beautiful ladies with babies, y’all know how it is when a craving hits and you like “it better be on point or else!” I ordered a small order of the shrimp fried rice and although it is simple without all the mixed vegetables and such it is very good. I got to the car food was fresh, I mean burn your mouth fresh, took the first bite and it reminded me of this amazing restaurant we HAD back home called King Fong in downtown Omaha. It was the best fried rice. ??????This is a runner up. So that says a lot. Anybody that know about King Fong in Omaha know about King Fong! ???

Anyways the service is good, speedy and I have not had a problem always nice and friendly and they laugh when I order only cookies previously but now…ordering the cookies and the fried rice. Oh for those that are into the details like that of the dish it is brown rice (I believe it is colored with flavored additives). It has white and green onions, eggs and bean sprouts again simple but comparable to a lot of fried rice that has to add all the extra fixings just to give it flavor this place is great for minimal ingredients with a mouthful of flavor. Don’t even need to add the soy sauce. Again my review is specific to the shrimp fried rice and cookies. Happy eating y’all!

Parking: Parking can be chaotic especially on weekends which is when I have experienced trouble.“

“I have driven by this restaurant hundreds of times. Never many cars in the parking lot. They do alot of take out orders. Today I decided to go there to look at the menue. I ordered the vegetable chow main. Wow, to my surprise it was the best Chinese dish I have had in a really long time. I will definitely go back again. Probably once a week. Take out pro es are great. “Super quick service. Everything looked amazing. What people are saying about the orange chicken is true. It is very, very crispy. If you don't like it with crisp fried batter, you may not enjoy it, but it is still good. Orange sauce is perfectly sweet and tangy. Fried rice, cream cheese wonton, spring roll were all good as well. I would try a different chicken dish next time.“
