Wrote them off at the start of 2025, but this shop has turned it up and my family likes the food.

“My husband and I are in Deephaven for two weeks watching our grands and our son told us we needed to go out to breakfast at Beanhaven. He said “it’s like a little hometown cafe” so today after getting the grands off to school we did. Wow, such a cute place, delicious food and coffee and a delightful server. I had the sausage mushroom quiche with Jim’s potatoes, my husband had eggs, bacon, Jim’s potatoes and toast. Omg every thing was amazing. We will definitely be back when we’re here from Iowa 😋😋😋”

“Everything here is SO good. I've tried several sushi rolls, multiple appetizers, and some of the noodle dishes, all of which were great.

The service is always good and even when they are busy you can usually find a spot at the sushi counter or the bar.

Sakana has quickly become my go-to spot for sushi and all other Asian food.”

“Ordered at another nearby restaurant on Uber eats for delivery and waited almost two hours, only to find out they were closed and never communicated anything to me or Uber Eats leaving me foodless, decided to order directly from the narrows instead and just go pick it up myself (on superbowl Sunday Evening mind you)

I kid you not they had it ready in probably less than 15 minutes. A previous time that I ordered from here for pick up, it was also ready very quickly as well! As a local I will prioritize getting a burger and fries here when I’m in the mood rather than a certain other restaurant on highway 7 ;)”

“I don’t drink Caribou, but I stopped in with my kids to pick up a coffee for their mom. She’s the regular, not me. She has very specific order with special requests. Before I said anything, Suzanne already knew the order. Not my drink… Not a guess… The exact order, exactly how she likes it.

That kind of awareness and attention to detail is rare. I was genuinely impressed. Suzanne made the experience personal, smooth, and memorable.

“Our absolute favorite place to go in the area! They have THE BEST food, cocktails, and service. The prime rib skewers, creamy caper chicken, pizza, and pot pie are our personal favorites. The Justin cab, watermelon sugar high, and salted caramel White Russian (among other drinks) are seriously AMAZING! Servers and bartenders are top notch. This is our new weekly spot.”
