“In the past 6 months the quality of their burgers and baskets served at the Wayzata store has gone way up. Friendly staff, clean environment some good beer options and interesting BOM offerings.
Wrote them off at the start of 2025, but this shop has turned it up and my family likes the food.

“My husband and I are in Deephaven for two weeks watching our grands and our son told us we needed to go out to breakfast at Beanhaven. He said “it’s like a little hometown cafe” so today after getting the grands off to school we did. Wow, such a cute place, delicious food and coffee and a delightful server. I had the sausage mushroom quiche with Jim’s potatoes, my husband had eggs, bacon, Jim’s potatoes and toast. Omg every thing was amazing. We will definitely be back when we’re here from Iowa 😋😋😋”

“Stopped by for dinner on a coworker's recommendation while visiting out-of-state for business. To my tastes, this is the overall best dining experience I've had anywhere. Top notch food, top notch service, excellent views of the lake, and a nice steel drum band while I was there.”

“I love sakana but they should have a manager on the floor at least when they have new hires working. Our server was very nice but could tell she was very new. Took extremely long to get our check and drinks and if there was a manager able to help the new employees with things like that it would have gone a lot smoother.”

“I don’t drink Caribou, but I stopped in with my kids to pick up a coffee for their mom. She’s the regular, not me. She has very specific order with special requests. Before I said anything, Suzanne already knew the order. Not my drink… Not a guess… The exact order, exactly how she likes it.

That kind of awareness and attention to detail is rare. I was genuinely impressed. Suzanne made the experience personal, smooth, and memorable.

Parking: Plenty of parking, next to gas station and other small businesses

Kid-friendliness: We bring our kids here fairly often and they love everything they have tried (usually tacos and guacamole). We’ve sat inside and outside and both felt completely comfortable with kids.”

“Love this gem of a spot in Wayzata - brunch was delicious - my Gruyère & mushroom omelette was yummy & hot when it arrived to me. I chose to add a little hollandaise sauce on the side which I highly recommend. Our group also shared the banana & strawberry toast with peanut butter and cocoa nibs & it was delish! Great service too & not too noisy - we cld hear each other talk which was an extra perk!”
