“My kiddos and I were seeking out new local bakeries to try, and Kingdom popped up on our radar! We arrived close to closing time, but were treated to kindness as my 12 year old kept saying "Chocolate chip cookies!" in my ear, the 7 year old reminding me for the last chocolate donut with sprinkles, and my oldest kiddo staring in awe at the drink selections. Both gentlemen were super friendly. The pastries were EXQUISITE. The salted caramel donut is HEAVENLY. The scones melted in our mouths. The berry crisp bar was absolutely delightful! Next time we come for treats, we'll do it earlier in the day, and be able to enjoy some delicious coffee or Chai. Can't wait! :) Thank you!“

“It was okay…. Kinda disappointed with the lack of friendliness from staff. I came in just to get a coffee with my 2 year old. We didn’t attempt to see the cats or anything- I knew she was too little. Just looked in the windows while we waited. One employee completely ignored us. The one behind the counter did the bare minimum…. My coffee took a LONG time and we were the only ones in the store. We left right away. Again I did NOT let my toddler run rampant. She was very well behaved. Coffee wasn’t very hot. I’d still recommend if you were going for the cats. But unfortunately not for much else“

“Wonderful spot close to Mississippi Market in St. Paul. There is a beautiful small park (when weather permits) to sit outside. The building itself is old and very Swedish even though the history of Swede Hollow is long-past, lots of "hygge" inside (yes I know it's Danish but they did own the country, kinda). A few tables downstairs, one cozy one on the mezzanine, 6-7 upstairs and a neat "conference room" with a very comfy cozy reading armchair. Coffee really good (Americano, Cubano), great selection, had a studenty-feel, but we are close to MSU. The food looked very good. One of my new favourite "Third Places"“

“We were looking for exceptional food for my 40th birthday party. I was able to try the brisket and pork belly and fell in love. It was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend both meats for any event, especially a gathering. Thanks again! Can’t wait to buy again!“

“Thank you for making my day! Today is my birthday and my hubby went to get my favorite treat(The House Made Chocolate Cake) at the Stillwater location, but they were closed. Then those little angels inside saw him lingering at the door and after he told them his dilemma they gave him TWO slices to save the day! Showing kindness like that is a true testimony to your business model and all that is right in this world! We love that you are in Stillwater now. Thank you and see you soon!“

“Loved this place! If you’re gluten free - they will take good care of you! My kid has a gluten allergy and they were so careful to accommodate and she was enamored with the food. Service was fantastic also! Great experience! Will make this a regular stop when in the Twin Cities! ❤️“

“I had a good experience, but a few things I wanted to note. The wait time can be quite long at times, but the staff were nice. The bathroom situation is kind of awkward here. It’s right in the middle of the seating area and it’s really hard to tell with the electronic lock if it is actually locked and people waiting can’t tell if it’s locked or not. I have seen a few times people have opened it up with someone inside and cause them some shock. A generic lock would probably be better“

“Wonderful experience here! The shop is super cute, and you can tell they really love their clientele. Chelsea was the sweetest! I was really impressed with her knowledge about the wide variety of options in both shakes and teas, along with the unique health benefits of each! On top of that they make protein shakes taste amazing. Which coming from someone who rarely has protein powder- I loved it.“

“Less of a coffee shop and more of a hangout place for Christians they only take donations and you don't have to pay anything for what you order, it takes a bit to get your drink but it's very good. I'm not religious personally but I find it very relaxing to just come in and study, work it just mess around on my phone. Don't come here thinking it's just a coffee shop, all the workers at least when I've been here have been very kind.“

“It has been years since my wife and I have dined in at DC2. The hype after its first opening seems to have died down. Usually when asked about DC2's food, folks seem to have mixed reviews. So because we were around in the area yesterday, we decided to give it a try to see what has changed. The menu seems about the same, with a few less items. The biggest change is the prices, which definitely is dollars more than it use to. Understanding with economy/inflation, pricing up is eventually going to happen. But is it worth really spending about $5-$10 on dishes where you can go a few blocks over to Hmong Village for cheaper? We ordered the combination pad thai (big noodles), papaya salad (Thai med spicy), and hli xiab (fried pork with tamarind sauce). I was always a big fan of the pad thai sauce from DC2, which seems to be the same as I remember it. However, the noodles are a bit thicker, like chow fun noodles. It was soft, feels homemade, and paired very well with the sauce & meats. The papaya salad was not overly sauced, and tasted very fresh. It had just the right amount of spiciness, sweetness, and sourness for both my wife and I. The hli xiab was a dish we have not tried before, and did very much enjoy. You pick a choice of meat which is stir fried with a sweet tamarind sauce accompanied with bell peppers and onions. There is an option to add spiciness, which we did do. We chose pork which was first fried, then cooked with the sauce and veggies. If you love sweet like in orange chicken, then this is the dish for you!The service was great, much better then I remember it. We were seated immediately, and the waiter was attentive. They also have a call system button now which you can click to ask for something or add things too.Overall, I was very impressed with DC2 and will come again. To go back on my question, I would rather spend few more dollars here then go to Hmong Village.“

“Great food. Fast service, even considering the waitlist of people on a Saturday morning. Estimated wait time 20 min, seated in 10.
Note to other patrons:
Bringing a large group to breakfast on the busiest day of the week? Call ahead and reserve a table. Panicking the high school age hostess because you brought a group of 11, which was shortly followed by a group of 6, to a popular busy breakfast place and didn’t plan ahead… not their fault. Being seated after 1-top and 2-tops… normal. They only have so many big tables. Don’t flip out at the young girl trying to find you a table because someone eating by themselves was seated before your entire group had a free table. Accept YOUR bad planning and wait til they can accommodate you.
To the girls who were hosting and seating today:
I’m appalled by the way I watched these people treat you. You did everything right, and if they complain later about it, I hope your bosses see this comment!“
