The food: I went for the adult grilled cheese, but as a veggie enthusiast, I skipped the bacon and added some fresh jalapenos for that extra kick. Trust me, it was 😋! And those crinkle fries? Pure yum. My mini food critic, Buggie, went for the taco salad and a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. She's 12, so her taste buds are still a work in progress, but hey, as long as it makes her happy, right? 😄 As for my husband, he tackled the bacon cheeseburger. Now, here's where things got interesting. The food arrived piping hot, but the location of the Village Inn has some wild intersections, and guess what? A car accident unfolded right before our eyes. my old man had to rush out to help (he's a firefighter), so he ended up eating his burger cold. But guess what? It still hit the spot. In a nutshell, the Village Inn is a gem in Wyoming, MN. Cozy vibes, satisfying food, and even a dash of adrenaline thanks to the intersection drama. 🚗💥“

“We went to Tom's Pumpkin Patch and stopped here for an early dinner afterwards. All of the staff were so friendly and accommodated our 4 adults and 4 kids wonderfully! The food was great and so reasonably priced. We'll come here again!“

“I work here and it's the best golf course in Minnesota in my opinion the course is very easy to follow the staff is exceptional, it's really clean, and the atmosphere is amazin. I recommend it to anyone who wants to become a member because it's a private course.“

“I thought i would give this a try as I was in the area on a Friday night. The casino is small but offers quite a bit of card games for those who enjoy poker, black jack, pai gao and several others. When you first walk in, the bar area and restaurant greet you, I grabbed a seat at the bar and was quickly offered a water and menu. I ordered a club sandwich and fries($10), my sandwich arrived pretty quickly and was delicious. the club is large and filling, and the fries were tasty. If you are looking for a good value in the Forest Lake area, it's hard to pass up Trout Air Tavern but it does come with whole Casino vibe.“

“My husband and I have been going to the blacksmith restaurant for over 40 years. The only item I have had is their chicken which is addicting. They sell more Broasted chicken than anyone else in Minnesota. All their food is great but it is their chicken for me. At least once a week I have to have it. They have a 12 piece to purchase and take out also….we have done that after eating there !!!!!!!“

I wish I had gotten his name, because he made us a few awesome drinks, so compliments to him! “I love Culver's it is my favorite fast food restaurant always count on it to be delicious. Unfortunately this location has a real problem. I have ordered the Curbside To Go several times on the way up North with plenty of time for the food to be repaired before we get there and almost without fail we end up waiting around for 20 minutes and then have to walk inside and alert someone to prepare our order. I use the service at several other locations and don't have the same problem. It is really frustrating that the curbside option is offered but not executed. Also on the most recent visit they forgot our kids juice box which we discovered once we were back on the freeway.“

“Shout out to my new favorite spot! This is the only bar in the North Branch area that will play a Packers Game for locals and not just the Vikings games. They are extremely friendly. The owner is amazing and accommodating unlike, sadly, some of the other local owners who won't even make eye contact with patrons. Their food is amazing! The bartender and waitress are hard workers especially given the short staffed situation of all places as of late. We go out alot and this place is the place we will frequent even though it's farther away than others! Love it here. Thanks Friar's!“

“Food was good but I tried a new item and it just doesn't fit right... A chicken hot honey meal, It came on a nice hot skillet, flavor was good, it looked pretty... But a cut up chicken breast w/ onions & mushrooms on top & a side of fries was ??? I took my meat side home with me and put it on top of a bed of rice and to me that worked better!? 😁“
