The quality of our local steak and shakes have significantly improved along with the staff. Much cleaner, tastes better, and even seems more filling than it used to. On top of that the new company policies like banning microwaves, beef tallow for their fried goods, and grass fed beef for the burgers. It went downhill a while ago but I can definitely say it has done a complete 360 and has honestly been one of our families favorite quick fast food locations now. Definitely better...read full review

Steak 'n Shake has undergone changes, with a more self-service approach that includes ordering through kiosk machines. Despite these updates, the food remains great, offering a wide variety of hot dogs and burgers. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, with ramps on both sides near the entrance. While the ambiance and service have shifted from the traditional sit-down experience, Steak 'n Shake still provides a unique dining experience for customers to enjoy, even though some feel the atmosphere is no longer the same.
