“We went here and got the ribs, chicken, greens, sweet potato’s and the sweet tea. Everything was so yummy! One thing to also add is that everyone was so nice!! We where going to stop by on our way back to the airport but we where running late and didn’t have time
I would 10/10 recommend to anyone in St.louis.
The cashier was so nice and gave us free samples of the sweet tea and asked if we wanted to change the sweetnes and when the kitchen gave us green beans instead of collared greens she gave us both with no added price. Everyone including customers helped us when we were struggling with the ordering screen.“

“Got the brisket with sweet potato fries and pickles. My friend got the ribs and corn. Both were good, very tender. The sauce was also really nice (I tried all four and we really liked the spicy one the most).
The lineup was long when we got there but it was pretty quick, I think we had a 20-30 minute wait so not too bad (I once waited for an hour at a different BBQ place).
Placed our orders and food came out pretty quickly. The staff was really nice and recommended the sides (was not disappointed).
The inside had plenty of seating and had cool decorations, I think newspaper clippings or some articles lined the walls.
Overall, had a good experience and would definitely come back.“

“We were in town (from the Twin Cities) for the 2025 President's Day Classic, and had Hogtown Smokehouse cater a team (and parents) dinner for 30 in our hotel. Rico was fantastic in helping us out. Quick to respond to calls and emails. Gracious, and just wonderful altogether... and that's just the service. The food? The empty pans, told the story. Brisket, Turkey and Pork for meats. Mac & cheese, potato salad and beans for sides. EVERYTHING was amazing! I never right reviews, but Rico and staff deserve this one. If you're reading this, don't hesitate to give them a try. Thanks again, Rico!“

“We just went for the first time tonight & hate we’ve missed out on going sooner! We are from Southern Indiana & it’s going to be hard to find anything to compare at home! Greg, Louis, and Eddie who were working the smoker when we left were so nice, told us all the ins and outs of the place, and truly take pride in their work. That pride is reflected in the delicious meal you’ll get! 10/10 recommend!“

“First time there the food was really good I got a double cheeseburger, my mom and her friend got a whole Jack plate too and it was really good they didn't really add no salt to the whole Jack plate though so, my son got a Philly cheese steak and he only ate half of it so wow and he can eat“

“This is my second time getting some food from this facility. The first time the food was cooked to perfection but it wasn't seasoned. This time the food was fesh off the grill but not cooked all the way. I don't think there will be a third time.“

“Unique authentic St Louis smokehouse right across from Busch Stadium. Informal, casual, and generous portions. Had a full rack (dry rub) w/crispy kale salad and smoked bacon beans. Lots of great squeeze bottle sauces at the table. Delicious! Even the popover was perfect. Make you don't miss this place on your next visit to downtown STL.“

“I came by yesterday with a friend who had never been. I got a rib tip combo and potato salad. I ate some for lunch, went by a friend house, she ate some, ate for dinner and I will eat the rest for lunch. My friend couldn't stop talking about how fresh and food it was.“

“The salmon was cooked very, very well, but could have used more seasoning. The rib appetizer came with the meal. It had good flavor, but was tough, maybe that’s St. Louis style(?) The server/bartender was great, but he needed more help. The girl that came in to ‘help’ was mostly talking to one customer while he handled the rest of the place, bar and tables. The cheesecake was delicious!“

“Jody B was recommended to me by someone that I really trust I went there and I got my food and I got it home and it was the best rib tips and snoots I have ever had, the sauce was just perfect, the tenderness of the rib tips was awesome and I love the way they did their snootsI will definitely be back there to try everything that they have on their menu because the food is awesome that I had and the rest has to be just as equal, to everyone go try it out it's delicious!“
