“Had the chicken wrap and it was delicious! The wrap was huge. I could only eat half. Definitely worth the price. My husband had the original burger and it was good. We got the sweet potatoes but they were odd. Tasted like funnel cakes. Everything else was delicious though!“

“We tried Gettin' Basted for the first time. It was lunch on a Saturday, and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was kind and helpful. My wife got the half size basted nachos for $7. It was the size of what could have been a whole order, and she said it was very good. I got the Austin, which was a brisket sandwich with fried onion strings and bbq sauce. I have had a lot of not very good brisket, but this was NOT one of those! It was thick cut, piled high, very tender, and juicy! It came with a side of house made chips for $16. We will definitely be back and bring our family next time.“

“In from Minnesota, I really wanted to watch the Wolves. Found this place and stopped in. Not only did they put the game on for me, but it was UFC night and they had the PPV fights. The wings and pizza puffs were great, drinks were affordable and they have a nice patio. Would definitely recommend!“

“This place is awesome. We always felt like we were in a grandma's kitchen and the goal is for her to stuff us full of a good hearty breakfast. The staff is friendly and hardworking. The food is delicious with huge portions. Get there early! It fills up quick! Only open till early afternoon hours.“

“It is kind of oddly in the back of a craft mall. Not your typical dining environment. But once you get seated the rest fades into the background and you forget the odd entrance. When you arrive, you order at the register, get a number, and find your table. 10% gratuity is added on at purchase. 100% of this goes to the servers (we left extra as well). The service was some of the best we have had during our stay. They checked back on us several times, refilled drinks, asked if we needed anything and we very kind. Servers seemed genuinely happy to work there. Tables were being cleaned immediately after people left. Environment was clean in general. Food seemed a little pricy. But was very tasty, hot and fresh. Music was for sure a plus!“

“Our first time to try it while we were in Branson. The food was very good. I can see we'll make this a regular for lunch or dinner each time we visit Branson, which is at least twice a year, sometimes three. We love the fact that they are from Oklahoma, which is the state we live in.“

“What an amazing spot! The hotel we're staying at recommended it, and wow, did it come through!! We had the crab dip appetizer, the Cajun captions boil pot, and a key lime pie for dessert. Absolutely everything was delicious! We had a couple beers and a banana rum drink that was really yummy. It's a clean restaurant with a laid back atmosphere. The service we received from Ivan was impeccable, very friendly and attentive. We were there after close, the only ones left in the restaurant, and had the opportunity to meet and talk with the owner, Curt. They were nothing but kind, hospitable, and sociable. I didn't think to take any photos, except of my drink, because it's the largest one I've ever had, 52 oz!10/10 recommend!!!“

“The food was excellent. Our waitress was also excellent. But then the "manager" and 70 something year old lady came to serve us our food and it was wrong, which is totally fixable, it wasn't that big of a deal and then she began arguing with me. I really thought about slapping her. She needed it. If it wasn't for her, I would have given 5 stars. Then I heard her arguing with another group of people because one person in the party had a food allergy which apparently made her mad. I'm not sure why she is the manager. She's causing this place to lose money. Again, our food and waitress was great.“

“We went here after seeing a video on YouTube while exploring things to do and places to go on our vacation. I ordered the 1 lb. Pork tenderloin and it lasted for 3 meals. My partner ordered a stack of 3 pancakes and wishes that he had heeded the server's suggestion of ordering one, maybe 2. The food was very good.“

“In today's time it's hard to give a steak place 5 stars especially with the cuts of meats we are getting these days. Everything is over processed and not very good quality. Well for a franchise restaurant this place is definitely different. The steak was so full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. I'm the kind of guy that does not use steak sauce unless the state ain't that great and I use the steak sauce to pretty much let the people know that their steak ain't the greatest, well this place it was 100% on point. The steak was seasoned PERFECT. so much falvor. I can't express enough how good it was. We only live about 2 1/2 hours away and go to branson alot. Our favorite place WAS outback, but this steak here blows there's away. Only thing i wanna say that sucks is they don't have oysters on a half shell but what ever, i can go to outback for those. Great place you won't regret it. Do be prepared to wait though.“

“Wow! What an experienced, friendly people throughout the entire restaurant. I asked the young lady what she would recommend, and she suggested the steak sandwich. She checked on me, wanting to know how I was doing, and said, " I want to make sure you're totally satisfied before you leave today." The cook greeted me when I walked in. Watching the staff, I was treated like everyone else. They care, you see it in attitudes, cleanliness, service, and taste of food. Plus, the dancing to the music was a positive treat.“

“Came in on Easter 1 hour before closing. Rachel was great. Food came out perfect Bang Bang shrimp tacos was excellent my wife had a featured menu item the Poblano pasta that she loved. “Really good wood fired pizza! We got a voucher from the cabins we stayed in and thought about not using it. But it was a rainy Sunday and we decided to order the pizza to go. So glad we did!!! We had pizza left over and brought it home, had it for lunch while doing laundry! Service was great! The guy was worried that it took longer than he told us. But he was great! This place would be great to sit on the patio after wine tasting! So convenient to the Branson area!“

“Seems they have changed the menu again; a few times these last few years. Miss some of the original items like bacon grilled cheese and hammocks with beans & cornbread. Grilled bbq chix with grits, okra, and sweet potato was perfect portion for 2 to split. Baked sweet was really tasty.“

“We happen to come upon this nostalgic “filling station” and we got full. It was amazing, food to atmosphere ! They had lots of menu options but we had catfish and shrimp some of the best catfish I have ever eaten!Salads so fresh and great sweet tea.Service was excellentI would highly recommended great food!“

“Amazing real and authentic! Here for 10 days and today on our 3rd day tried Desia's food, it was beyond Amazing. My husband got it while the kids and I were swimming, went to the hotel and ate. My husband went right back up to get more chicken. If you love spice and want something different then the usual American food, this food will get you that! The jerk chicken plate was perfect. We wanted to try the jerk chicken wings! She even put them in to cook for alittle longer for us so the seasonings settle in. This place needs more credit then it's given and deserves to be poppin everyday all day. A must try when you visit. We come down every year now its added to our yearly visits!“

“We visited twice over the Christmas weekend.Freshest lettuce we had in town (including from the grocery store). Rueben was very well seasoned, even the rye bread.Staff was so kind and accommodating, made us feel at home and included during the holiday.Our favorite type of place.“

“This place had a real nice bar vibe. We went twice. Once just for drinks and a second time for dinner. Both experiences were lovely. We sat outside for drinks and inside for dinner. We also had different servers each time and they were both amazing! The food was fantastic and there were good portions! I will definitely go back next time we visit the area!“

“My parents took me here for a nice meal, I got the mahi mahi on special. The portion of the fish was sizable and yummy… I do think they could give a bit bigger portion on sides however…. “Out-of-town visiting from Oklahoma to Missouri. Wanted to let u all know our server Jake was so amazing, he listened to every detail of u order. I have a big food intolerance I told him that he made sure that my plate was the way it should be to accommodate my food intolerance. I would recommend going here 100 percent. “Went for lunch with our two kids. This place is awesome! Tons of nostalgia from the 80s (if you are an elder millennial or gen x age, lots of childhood memorabilia) good atmosphere for kids as well with a stage to play on. Food was good and came out quickly. Server Jeremiah was super pleasant and fun. This was our favorite restaurant on the strip and prices were also very reasonable. Highly recommend.“

“This is our second time eating here. Once inside and this time on the patio. It's such a nice part of Dogwood Canyon. Today we just had a club sandwich, some fried ravioli and a craft beer while sitting on the patio next to a waterfall. Really what is better than that.“

“The food was fresh, and lots of it tasted like the typical buffet food. It was a little confusing to start. They expect you to know how they run things from the beginning. They take you to a table so that each associate has people they clean plates for. I sill had 3/4 of a plate full of food and they asked if I wanted another fresh plate I said not yet, which was a mistake as it took the over 10 minutes of me waiting to get a new plate, as you're not supposed to grab one for yourself. They expected everyone to tip them for giving you a new plate and filling your water.“

Kitchen easily accommodated exchange of sides. Salmon was perfect ( glaze on side), b sprouts were superb. Brian was our bartender/server made us feel very welcome and comfortable as did the other staff who stopped to visit during our stay.“

“We went to the Devil’s Pool for the first time. A group of 4 of us. Our waitress Becca was polite and helped us navigate the menu. The food and drinks were excellent. Was alittle dark in the restaurant but everything else was good. Would recommend this restaurant.“

“Not a large selection, but the food was great! We now have a new favorite french fry... The staff was awesome, the burgers were good but the fries were amazing. The restaurant atmosphere was a blast from the past and would have only been better if it was busier. The lack of customers was the only concern we had, was almost sad but couldn't really be sad sitting at the Elvis table though! Will definitely return, will get a smaller burger next time.“

“Food was good, atmosphere was amazing. Service needed a few changes. First, timing. I was about half way through my salad when my entree arrived. As the waiter was hovering with my entree, I was trying to shove down my salad as fast as I could. Not okay. Finally the server placed my entree awkwardly on the table above my salad, sort of overlapping my salad plate. At an expensive, fine dining restaurant, this shouldn’t happen. You should have adequate time to eat your courses. My other service issue was that the waiter kept mentioning our “complimentary bread” over and over. I’ll move your complimentary bread over here. Would you like more complimentary bread, etc. A bit tacky for my taste. Fine at a mom and pop, not for fine dining.“

Sheila was friendly, very attentive, and provided us with a 5 star dining experience. Sheila has a positive attitude which adds so much to a dining experience.
