Love the people I see here regularly, particularly Amanda, Courtney and... I think two other people I know back in the deli are named Crystal and Olivia? These deli clerks always seem glad/excited to see me, love to chat and they've even memorized not only what I typically buy whenever I come back there, but also how I like my deli meat cut! The cashiers whose lines my mom and I go through whenever we are there have been awesome as well. Grate service, communication and conversation with these people!“

“My wife, friends and I had a great experience at Side Pockets in Blue Springs. They have great pool tables, super tasty jalapeño cheese bites and fun dart machines as well.

The only off-putting experience for me was when we were initially trying to play on the dart machines. A prompt popped up on the screen for some kind of registration process that could be bypassed but we weren’t sure how to do it. After a very polite employee tried to override it for several minutes and couldn’t figure it out, he called over another gentleman who asked/stated things like (paraphrased): “Who touched the buttons?” “I figured this out in 9 seconds.” “I blame the educational system.” Just some arguably degrading things. One of my friends had jokingly pointed at me when he asked who had touched the machine but I hadn’t actually been the one to mess with it and he still said those things.

I still want to leave five stars. After all, maybe I misread the situation. But it seemed like misplaced humor and slightly rude at the time. Especially when the other employee couldn’t seem to solve the problem either (he may have been intending to poke fun at his employee as opposed to us).

Regardless, it was a fun experience overall and I give a big thanks to the staff for being overwhelmingly helpful and inviting. The waitresses were very proactive in ensuring we were taken care of while we were there.“

“During my visit to Applebee’s, I had one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time because of our server. She was a young woman whose name started with the letter “S.” I wish I could remember her full name because she truly deserves the recognition. From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with a warm smile and a positive attitude that made us feel welcome. She was kind, patient, and attentive throughout our entire meal. She checked on us regularly without being overwhelming, made sure our drinks were always filled, and made sure we had everything we needed before we even had to ask. What stood out most was how genuine she was. She didn’t just do her job she made us feel like valued guests. Even though the restaurant was busy, she stayed calm, friendly, and professional while giving every table great service. Her upbeat personality made the experience even more enjoyable, and it was clear that she cared about making sure her customers had a great visit. Excellent customer service can completely change a dining experience, and she proved that. Because of her kindness, efficiency, and welcoming attitude, our meal was memorable for all the right reasons. Employees like her are the reason customers choose to come back. I hope Applebee’s knows what a wonderful employee they have. Although I can’t remember her full name, I know it started with an “S,” and I hope she receives the recognition she deserves. She represented the restaurant exceptionally well and made our visit a fantastic experience. Thank you for going above and beyond it truly made a difference.“
