“We were staying overnight at The Fairfield Inn, and The Summit Grill was recommended to us for a dinner location. We were pleasantly surprised at the deliciously amazing food, quick service, and also our attentive waiter, Travis. I highly recommend the Traditional Pot Roast, and my husband recommends the Chicken-Fried Chicken. If we are in Gladstone again, we will defintely return.“

“I cannot express enough how amazed I am with the customer service. Yesterday (Super Bowl Sunday—-GO CHIEFS!) I placed an online order. My pick up time was at 5 (earliest I could get because I waited too long to place the order) I arrive early hoping it would be done earlier because I had people arriving at my house and I didn’t want to miss the game. When I arrived it was packed on people waiting. I assumed I was going to be there for awhile so asked if I could order a beer. They got me a beer and a chair. As I sat there for over an hour (it went past my pick up time) I saw all of the employees working very hard trying their best to fill the orders quickly. Some of the customers were being quite rude to the girls up front as the customers were upset their food wasn’t ready. The girls did an amazing job keeping everyone calm they would simply just smile and tell them they are working on it. I was so impressed how these girls handled themselves not one time did I hear them get snippy with a customer even tho I’m sure they wanted to. It was always a smile with a polite response. I was there almost til the end and a guy started yelling at the girls and still it was a smile and polite response. I got my food and made it for the game and the food was delicious as always!“

“The wait was long for the food there was another customer who told me it's going to take a very long time and she was not kidding. However the service was good. I got some type of salmon dish and I noticed they switched the salmons on me it was still good in the same price so I don't have a complaint about that but next time I hope I get what I ordered“

“Really fun atmosphere, great service and great food. The Al Pastor tacos were my favorite blending unique flavors of sweet fruits with small pieces spicy jalapeno peppers. A real treat for the taste buds. We went on a Tuesday night which was Taco Tuesday. They had $3 tacos (you can pick from four options) and discounts in drinks. I tried the Al Pastor, Cheeseburger Taco, Buffalo Cauliflower, and Chicken Tinga. All four were very good.“

She was our server and my gosh, she went above and beyond. She mad our night wonderful and my daughter could NOT have been happier. Absolutely beaming. “We were passing thru and staying at Best Western Premier. The desk clerk recommended Conrad’s! We went there and so glad we did! Claire was our waitress and she was amazing! Hubby has allergies and she went back twice to make sure he was ok!! We shared the Blue Chips appetizer…with a couple cold ones. OMG….they were soooo good! We had regular BBQ sauce instead of Buffalo. Amazing! And you get so much!! Definitely enough to share! Then we both ordered the grilled chicken wrap with ranch dressing. That also was so very good! I brought 1/2 of mine back to motel for breakfast in the morning. For a side I had steamed broccoli which was excellent. Hubby had the mixed vegetables. It is a casual but nice place!! Claire was awesome and so was the food!“

The lettuce was so very fresh & crisp; the strawberries were perfectly ripe, juicy, & freshly sliced; the grilled chicken was a generous portion & still warm, but not so hot as to wilt the lettuce. The pecans & blue cheese chunks weren’t soggy. Perfection! 😁Thanks so much!“

“Absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! Our group of 14 arrived here today at the Shawnee location for lunch. We were met by friendly staff and seated right away. Once we ordered our food, it arrived quickly! We were impressed! All 14 orders were correct, served hot and fresh, and so good!! Great size portions! The service was absolutely great! Refills were quick. The atmosphere is so fun! We all enjoyed our food arriving by train. The kids had a great time. and only 2 little ones had a nugget and few fries left. Everyone devoured their food. It's definitely a must experience! “My wife and I stopped in for the first time in a few years. We were seated after a bit of a wait. It is after all a Friday night in a shopping district. Our server was bright and cheery. She had a warming smile and happy persona. we placed our drink order. Shortly thereafter our food order was taken. I ordered a flat iron steak and a baker. My wife ordered soup and salad. Our dinner was served fairly quickly. Unfortunately my steak was quite a bit overcooked, so I requested one that wasn't over done. When the replacement steak was delivered, it was a bit overdone as well. I was hungry so I kept it. The manager came by to talk to us. I've spent time in a kitchen or two and I understand a dinner rush. The manager stopped at our table and wanted to assure us that this was not acceptable. She made things right, but wasn't needed or expected. I felt bad for our server because she probably feared she wasn't going to get tipped for a fairly big check. She was pretty wrong. I tipped correctly and arguably better than normal. Our return visit ended up being a great experience. We met a couple of wonderful human beings. Had some pretty good food. And, of course, my wife and I got to connect.“

“Dinner last night (12/6) was excellent. Our server Jade was great. She is very friendly and makes sure you are well taken cafe of. We had the Lobster Rangoon appetizer was very good. Our dinner meals were 5 stars. All of the staff were very friendly and hard working. We had the chocolate tasting for dessert and it was excellent. We highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Great little bar tucked away in Platte Woods. One of the last to allow smoking! The food is amazing, and very large portions. The drinks are great and they have a wide variety to choose from! Open 7 days a week with specials every day! The atmosphere is like a "Cheers" bar, go check them out!“

“Brunch for wife and teen daughter was spot on. Quality of ingredients comes through. For example, breakfast sausage in the breakfast sandwich was light and herby. Wife's French toast was outstanding.

“SMAXX is the place to be! Especially on Wednesday’s for $1 whole wings. My husband has tried many other food items and likes it! 🔥phillies and burgers too! I don’t go at night so I can’t speak to that, but during the day, the music is always jammin’ with R&B hits. If you haven’t tried it, you should.“

“Inside what used to be a hospital (Independence Sanitarium) and is now the Ennovation Center, is a great breakfast/lunch (or dinner) place with better and more than average variety. Recent change of management has improved it, though it was good before. I love the Reuben, packed with corned beef and cheese. No alcohol, just good value, with daily specials, and fast service.“

I have been to the Drum Room countless times and had no idea about the restaurant in the hotel! We decided to split the grilled peach salad, the fried goat cheese salad and a side of fries. These salads were so good! I feel like you don't often hear people rave about salads after visiting a restaurant but these were both great. I would totally order them again. Our waitress was super nice and even let us know right when we sat down that they were short staffed and that she was also helping with room service. I always appreciate when staff is up front about situations like that because it helps customers understand and manage expectations. Our drinks were rather strong and we both had a hard time finishing them, but overall we had a good experience!“
