“We were staying overnight at The Fairfield Inn, and The Summit Grill was recommended to us for a dinner location. We were pleasantly surprised at the deliciously amazing food, quick service, and also our attentive waiter, Travis. I highly recommend the Traditional Pot Roast, and my husband recommends the Chicken-Fried Chicken. If we are in Gladstone again, we will defintely return.“

“I cannot express enough how amazed I am with the customer service. Yesterday (Super Bowl Sunday—-GO CHIEFS!) I placed an online order. My pick up time was at 5 (earliest I could get because I waited too long to place the order) I arrive early hoping it would be done earlier because I had people arriving at my house and I didn’t want to miss the game. When I arrived it was packed on people waiting. I assumed I was going to be there for awhile so asked if I could order a beer. They got me a beer and a chair. As I sat there for over an hour (it went past my pick up time) I saw all of the employees working very hard trying their best to fill the orders quickly. Some of the customers were being quite rude to the girls up front as the customers were upset their food wasn’t ready. The girls did an amazing job keeping everyone calm they would simply just smile and tell them they are working on it. I was so impressed how these girls handled themselves not one time did I hear them get snippy with a customer even tho I’m sure they wanted to. It was always a smile with a polite response. I was there almost til the end and a guy started yelling at the girls and still it was a smile and polite response. I got my food and made it for the game and the food was delicious as always!“

“5 stars for the fact that we came in with a 2.5 star expectation. Nobody knew what they were doing at the front of house and couldn't seat 3 other people or ourselves with zero work load infront of them. We went to the bar for faster service. Laura was very pleasant. A nice gentleman named Dwight was telling his stories and really enticed us in his conversation. Our service was great. Food was subpar. But the experience.. 2 great people met. The bartender and Dwight (the customer). Thank you Applebee's. 2 diamonds in the rough. If Applebee's still exists in 20 years, we'll be back again!“

Our server, Lauren, was top-notch: attentive to every need, full of great recommendations, and wonderfully warm and engaging.
Head chef Megan was just as lovely—so friendly and welcoming, and incredibly talented. Every dish we tried was fantastic. The manager checked in with us to ensure that we were having a good experience.

The chicken wings were a delicious surprise—an unexpectedly refined take on a familiar favorite. The mushrooms in the fried rice were to die for, and the sushi rolls were amazing. We can’t say enough good things about the food.

The atmosphere made the evening even more special, with pottery, exposed wood, great music, and even a bathroom that felt like an experience of its own. I wanted to move in. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you.“

“Shout out to the Culver’s employee who made my beautiful strawberry fields salad this evening! It was PERFECTION!! Not only was the salad beautiful, but everything was Super Fresh! The lettuce was so very fresh & crisp; the strawberries were perfectly ripe, juicy, & freshly sliced; the grilled chicken was a generous portion & still warm, but not so hot as to wilt the lettuce. The pecans & blue cheese chunks weren’t soggy. Perfection! 😁Thanks so much!“

“We were passing thru and staying at Best Western Premier. The desk clerk recommended Conrad’s! We went there and so glad we did! Claire was our waitress and she was amazing! Hubby has allergies and she went back twice to make sure he was ok!! We shared the Blue Chips appetizer…with a couple cold ones. OMG….they were soooo good! We had regular BBQ sauce instead of Buffalo. Amazing! And you get so much!! Definitely enough to share! Then we both ordered the grilled chicken wrap with ranch dressing. That also was so very good! I brought 1/2 of mine back to motel for breakfast in the morning. For a side I had steamed broccoli which was excellent. Hubby had the mixed vegetables. It is a casual but nice place!! Claire was awesome and so was the food!“

The only issue was that one of us ordered breakfast potatoes but got hashbrowns instead, though that seems to have been a kitchen mistake since the ticket still had potatoes when we paid. “Local Kansas Citian....stayed this weekend with my husband and had an AMAZING time! The room was spacious and clean! Bed was super comfy, and it was actually very quiet! We could see the city life below from our corner room, but most of the noise was completely blocked out! The hotel bar and the terrace bar were both amazing! And breakfast at the hotel was to die for! We will definitely be staying again!“

The owners are so kind and genuine quick to strike up a conversation. And their house made chai tea is absolutely to die for, I will definitely be back time and time again for that alone. “I recommend the restaurant and the staff. But the short haired manager with glasses makes the dining experience awkward for her team and uncomfortable for the patrons. Don’t berate your team, lady. But if you must, don’t shout it across the room. We eat here a lot and the staff is wonderful. Maybe she’s the common denominator among the problems she perceives.“

“Jim and the team there care, a rare commodity in this day and age. A friend of mine accidentally left behind his son’s teddy bear, 6 waitresses and Jim studied the picture and took down our numbers. Jim was in the back, one of the waitresses (wish I knew her name) said to hold on that Jim would want to be involved. Think about that, a waitress willingly involving a manager, and the manager CARED. 10/10 would recommend, good food, better people. I wish this business nothing but the best. 🙏“

“Great little bar tucked away in Platte Woods. One of the last to allow smoking! The food is amazing, and very large portions. The drinks are great and they have a wide variety to choose from! Open 7 days a week with specials every day! The atmosphere is like a "Cheers" bar, go check them out!“

“My wife and I stopped in for the first time in a few years. We were seated after a bit of a wait. It is after all a Friday night in a shopping district. Our server was bright and cheery. She had a warming smile and happy persona. we placed our drink order. Shortly thereafter our food order was taken. I ordered a flat iron steak and a baker. My wife ordered soup and salad. Our dinner was served fairly quickly. Unfortunately my steak was quite a bit overcooked, so I requested one that wasn't over done. When the replacement steak was delivered, it was a bit overdone as well. I was hungry so I kept it. The manager came by to talk to us. I've spent time in a kitchen or two and I understand a dinner rush. The manager stopped at our table and wanted to assure us that this was not acceptable. She made things right, but wasn't needed or expected. I felt bad for our server because she probably feared she wasn't going to get tipped for a fairly big check. She was pretty wrong. I tipped correctly and arguably better than normal. Our return visit ended up being a great experience. We met a couple of wonderful human beings. Had some pretty good food. And, of course, my wife and I got to connect.“
