“My wife and I had heard about this place for awhile on a local foodie FB page and since we were in the area we decided to stop and try it out. I'm so glad we did. The food is fantastic and the woman who served us (I believe may be one of the owners) was super nice and took time to speak with us about our visit. We started with some pickle fries and corn nuggets. The pickle fries were by far the best I have ever had. They were sliced long and thin exactly like you would get from a french fry. I had never seen them done this way before but I love it. They were crunchy, flavorful and had a tiny bit of heat on the back end of the seasonings. We will definitely order these again. The corn nuggets were fantastic as well but one of the few items not made in house. Still worth ordering. My wife ordered a mushroom swiss burger. Overall it was good but she would have preferred a little more mushrooms than were on the burger and it was a tad dry but it was still definitely a great burger. The fries were just as good as the pickle fries. Had a nice crunchy coating on them and were outstanding. I had the breaded pork tenderloin and fried potato salad. The tenderloin was easily one of the top 2 tenderloins I have ever had. It was the perfect thickness, had a great crunch, and most importantly was seasoned well which is something some places don't do as well as they should. I regretted ordering the fried potato salad until I tasted it. It seemed weird but it was SOOO good. They are fried potatoes coated in an Alabama White BBQ sauce of sorts. It had a nice tanginess and slightly mustardy flavor. I definitely was sad when I ran out. After discussing their BBQ, we were presented with a small sample of their brisket cubes and pulled pork! OMG! They could easily go head to head with some of the best BBQ's in KC with that pulled pork. It was so moist, juicy, and had the perfect level of smoke to it. I am not normally a pulled pork fan because it can be dry sometimes but not this one! So good! The cubed brisket was superb as well. Big, meaty chunks of brisket that resemble burnt ends without the char. They melt in your mouth as well and didn't even need sauce to make them palatable. I already have about 5 people from my pork tenderloin fan group planning trips soon to partake in this fantastic specimen. Overall the experience was fantastic and I feel this is quite the hidden gem in Kearney Missouri!!“
“Gino’s is one of our go-to restaurants. Food and service is ALWAYS GREAT. Your choice of Italian or American fare. They serve the best tenderloin in Kansas City! A regular tenderloin feeds two people. A half tenderloin is still larger than the bun and comes with fries or tots.“

All the homemade rolls with honey/cinnamon butter you want at no additional charge. I'm not a big salad eater, but theirs is fresh & so good! Steak is always perfectly cooked (like my blue rare, impossible to get it too rare), & it's always tasty & tender. I always get mashed potatoes with country white gravy. “This could be your go to sandwich shop, if you give it a try. The staff is very helpful, friendly......, as well as the rest of the Boy Scout law. Their breakfasts are also excellent. When family members come to visit, they ask to go to Huey's on the Square. As I often see people I know, it is a great gathering spot and several major newspapers are available to read at your leisure. All in all, this restaurant will take you back a little way in time (notice the tin ceiling) but it won't set you back financially.“
“I like First Watch but they charge more than the usual places I go so I have high standards for them. Lately they have not come close to meeting just minimal standards, but this week I had such a PLEASANT experience I thought I should say something nice. Dorothy was extra friendly and attentive. The food came out hot for a change. The gentleman at the front who I think was the manager was very pleasant and accommodating. They are still on probation with me, but I am willing to give them a few more tries to make sure this is the new norm. Ask for Dorothy--she is friendly, efficient and has some "server skills"“

“Good food. My daughter ordered hot chicken sandwich and it was covered in hot chili oil. It was too hot for her to eat. We asked the waitress if that was normal amount of hot chilies on it and she said yes. And my daughter said "that's okay I didn't pay attention when I ordered to what the menu said" . We didn't ask for them to take it off but they did. Appreciated the good service. I will be back.“
“The food was good and the service was mostly good … until our bill came to 52.54 and our server brought back change for $53. Please do not assume that a customer does not want his/her change. If so, bright change back in the customer’s favor ($52). We did significantly decrease the tip, but it is about the principle.“

“It was a ROUGH night for the staff. We were on our way home to Northern Iowa (from Southern Texas) from our spring break trip (had been on the road for 12 hours, still had 5 to go)....there were three (ONLY THREE) people working (one in the kitchen, one at the drive-thru, and one at the main counter). The staff was overwhelmed, and patrons were getting crabby. We tried hard to keep their spirits up by smiling and making jokes. I knew my fries had been sitting in my to-go bag for a while; asked, super nicely, if they would mind nuking them (I mean, no one likes cold fries; am I right?!)....they tossed them in the fryer quickly to get them hot again (was super thankful for that). As we were handed our last bag, the drive-thru worker (who was working her butt off) handed me a bag of mini-ice cream sandwiches for our kindness and patience. I just hope the staff from that night (8pm; 3/15/24) didn't go home feeling super defeated. We specifically go out of our way; break speed-limit laws, just to make it to a Lion's Choice before close; it's a favorite for us (ate LC twice a week when I lived in St. Louis in the 90s). Genuinely hope the owners/management does a better job of having the proper amount of staff in the future, and rewards that night crew....they were doing the best they could, with minimal support. ❤️“
“Was a little scared to try because of some of the reviews. I got the 3 meat platter, ribs, chicken and brisket. I was very surprised with how delicious the chicken was. The ribs were good but not much meat on them. The brisket was very good. A little bit dry but good. Not sure what seasoning they put in their greenbeans but it's to spicy for me. Overall I loved it and and will return.“

“I had a wonderful experience at Johnny's liberty. I had a Cajun Shrimp pasta. It was excellent if you visit, you must get nice jumbo shrimps.  There was a band with the singer there, Lauren Ashli it was very soothing nice music nice atmosphere. I love this liberty location. I will be coming back here it's sad the downtown area is not on the same page with your liberty location. The staff was very friendly, very tentative liberty is my place of choice today.“
