“The food here is amazing. I’ve been here 3 times and nothing was short of great. I’ve had the carnitas Mac n cheese appetizer (amazing), the crab and shrimp ravioli, the burger, and the chicken poblano. They make their food from scratch so it does take a little longer, but if you order an appetizer it doesn’t make it seem as long. Service could have been a bit better but it looked like only 2 servers had the whole floor. Great atmosphere and great music playing the whole time. I love this place!“
“Finally stopped in after driving by this place for years! Service was top notch, everyone was super friendly, food was excellent and some unique items including the butchers blend burger...45/45/10 burger which was a mix of beef, pork, and bacon. The special Cajun chicken and grits looked amazing as well. A good number of craft beers on tap including boulevard white chocolate ale!! We will definitely be back.“
“My friends and I were out late one night in Miami and looking for a food spot that was still open in the wee hours of the night. We stumbled upon some food trucks and ultimately decided to stop at Krispy Krunchy Chicken's 305 Chicken on Wheels. Man, was it worth the stop! I got a chicken meal which came with a honey biscuit and a side of my choice, and not only was everything flavorful, but I got all of this, sauce, and a drink for under $13! My friends loved it too - the chicken definitely lived up to its name!! Completely worth the stop if you're looking for a quick and delicious lunch, dinner, or late night grub!!! Hot tip: For seating, there's a number of picnic tables outside of their food truck and also across the street.“
“We love Scott's Kitchen! Everything we have eaten has been delicious - tacos, bowls, beef, chicken, turkey - all of it! They have a variety of heat levels so everyone can find what suits them. Staff is friendly, patient, and helpful in answering questions and serving. The temperature in the dining area is really cold (in my opinion) and the chairs are metal. If we are eating in, I need to remember to take something to sit on just to warm it up! There are outside seating options if the weather is good, as well as carryout.“
“We come in regularly. Our normal waitress Bekah is now the Manager, so she will let the waitresses work for the drinks and food orders and then will come over and catch up with us but always helps her employees with service. Great Manager....“
“Food is scrumpdillicious! Staff is friendly, proficient, professional & always available when you're ready for another drink, more rolls, or anything else you may want. All the homemade rolls with honey/cinnamon butter you want at no additional charge. I'm not a big salad eater, but theirs is fresh & so good! Steak is always perfectly cooked (like my blue rare, impossible to get it too rare), & it's always tasty & tender. I always get mashed potatoes with country white gravy. They make their gravy with bacon drippings, so it tastes amazing! One of cheaper steak houses, but quality puts most other places to shame!! My favourite place to eat steak!!!!“
“An item we ordered was served cold. The waitress quickly brought us another serving that was also cold. My husband told her not to take it off the bill, he would take it home with the other items. We received a coupon by email for a free dessert via email.“
“Vegetarian options: Veggie Burger & SaladsKid-friendliness: Kids menu available (10 & under) with plenty of options, dessert included (bring your own pen/crayon/marker to play the games)Wheelchair accessibility: First floor, no steps to enter. Some seating is not wheelchair friendly (booths that have a step up) buy there are plenty of regular tables. Seating is very close together, so keep that in mind.“
“The food was good and the service was mostly good … until our bill came to 52.54 and our server brought back change for $53. Please do not assume that a customer does not want his/her change. If so, bright change back in the customer’s favor ($52). We did significantly decrease the tip, but it is about the principle.“
“New location, good food, decent service. Kitchen was a little slow, but that may not be their fault. Half of our group got their meals 10 minutes ahead of the others. Our group has call-ahead seating, yet we were wedged in a small-ish table. Manager did come check in on us, which was nice.“
“Good food. My daughter ordered hot chicken sandwich and it was covered in hot chili oil. It was too hot for her to eat. We asked the waitress if that was normal amount of hot chilies on it and she said yes. And my daughter said "that's okay I didn't pay attention when I ordered to what the menu said" . We didn't ask for them to take it off but they did. Appreciated the good service. I will be back.“
“I like First Watch but they charge more than the usual places I go so I have high standards for them. Lately they have not come close to meeting just minimal standards, but this week I had such a PLEASANT experience I thought I should say something nice. Dorothy was extra friendly and attentive. The food came out hot for a change. The gentleman at the front who I think was the manager was very pleasant and accommodating. They are still on probation with me, but I am willing to give them a few more tries to make sure this is the new norm. Ask for Dorothy--she is friendly, efficient and has some "server skills"“
“If you are a biker, stay away. The owner tells the help not to serve you. Turned about 50 of us away so we went to twin peaks. Greeted w open arms. This isn't the first time we've tried going there on the bikes both times we were asked to not be served, loudly across the bar“
“As a first time visitor I was truly impressed from the amazing customer service from the gentleman that was there to the food. Definitely the best wrap I have ever had, I am a big texture person and they hit it right on the head. I am going to be back to for “
“Very loud restaurant, the food was decent but charging $6 for the same exact coffee you pay $2 for at any gas station is crazy. The prices here are not budget friendly...We ordered 2 coffees, 2 pancakes and an omelet and it came to $50... how? idk.“
“My husband got the pork loin sandwich with fries and said it was really good. I got the cheeseburger with bacon and fries, and it was also very good. They were very busy when we got there, but they had no problem cranking the orders out. Drive up was very busy. Will definitely be going back!!“
“Corner Cafe is a KC original establishment and always hits a homerun. The Liberty location is super close for us and has lots of choices to match what you might be in the mood for. They have daily specials and their bakery is top notch. Our seasonal summer favorite is the strawberry pie. The staff is always friendly and the service almost always quick. Will be back and recommendKid-friendliness: Kids menu and highchairs“
“If I had a way to leave a 10 star rating for our server Aubrey I sure would!! She has the best attitude and really knows how to take care of her guests!! Thank you Aubrey for a great long evening with these 2 really drunk guys and myself last night! YOU ARE THE BEST!!“
“Really good restaurant with live music and a very good selection when it comes to the menu. I ordered fried mushrooms and a BLT that was enough to feed 2 people. The waitress working the bar was very pleasant and made sure that all of her customers were very well taken care of. The band was fantastic, the lead singer was an Army veteran, we started talking and found out we were at the same duty station around the same time with the same MOS (job).“
“I am not a fan of cowboy deco, or country music so I order to-go, mostly. That said, the food is always delicious at this location and they are good at fulfilling special requests (sauces and stuff on the side so food stays crispy, etc.) to make sure it stays that way. This location is well maintained, clean, and the hosts and wait staff are always friendly!“
“Went and got seated immediately around lunch time our server taylor was very attentive and made our visit much more enjoyable than any restaurant has in a while for us the food was excellent came quickly and was fresh atmosphere was warm and welcoming it was nice to look at all the vintage pictures and signs and see history please don't change it to the five four like the one in independence it sucks.“
“This is our favorite brunch spot, we try to go every week. The breakfast is SO good (especially the chicken fried chicken breakfast).Every that works there is so friendly & nice too.If you like family friendly service, old school vibes, & great food - you'll LOVE this place!“
“It was a ROUGH night for the staff. We were on our way home to Northern Iowa (from Southern Texas) from our spring break trip (had been on the road for 12 hours, still had 5 to go)....there were three (ONLY THREE) people working (one in the kitchen, one at the drive-thru, and one at the main counter). The staff was overwhelmed, and patrons were getting crabby. We tried hard to keep their spirits up by smiling and making jokes. I knew my fries had been sitting in my to-go bag for a while; asked, super nicely, if they would mind nuking them (I mean, no one likes cold fries; am I right?!)....they tossed them in the fryer quickly to get them hot again (was super thankful for that). As we were handed our last bag, the drive-thru worker (who was working her butt off) handed me a bag of mini-ice cream sandwiches for our kindness and patience. I just hope the staff from that night (8pm; 3/15/24) didn't go home feeling super defeated. We specifically go out of our way; break speed-limit laws, just to make it to a Lion's Choice before close; it's a favorite for us (ate LC twice a week when I lived in St. Louis in the 90s). Genuinely hope the owners/management does a better job of having the proper amount of staff in the future, and rewards that night crew....they were doing the best they could, with minimal support. ❤️“
“Let me start by saying that I am a huge fan of Whataburger. If you know me, you know I LOVE WHATABURGER, WYNONNA & BABY JESUS! Being someone from the great state of Texas who appreciates good food and great service, I can confidently say that Whataburger's locations across Texas are consistently impressive. However, there is one specific Whataburger, #813 on 15329 Wallisville Rd, that holds a special place in my heart: the one on Wallisville Road. Now, it's not just because of the food that I love this particular Whataburger. It's the three amazing ladies who work there in the morning: Ms. Vera, Ms. Jean, and Ms. Judy. These ladies are an absolute powerhouse, and they make my experience at Whataburger truly exceptional. Every morning, I visit this Whataburger for breakfast, and I must admit that I look forward to seeing these three wonderful individuals more than I do for my biscuits and gravy. From the moment I walk in, they greet me with warm smiles and make me feel like I am the most important person in the world. They treat me not just as a customer but as a friend. One thing that sets these ladies apart is their genuine friendliness and courtesy. They go above and beyond to ensure that every customer feels welcomed and valued. Miss Vera, in particular, gives the best hugs that instantly brighten up my day. Their level of service is truly top-notch, and they deserve to be treated like queens. While the food at Whataburger #813 on Wallisville Road is consistently delicious, it is the presence of these three remarkable ladies that truly makes this location stand out. Their dedication to providing exceptional service and creating a welcoming atmosphere is truly commendable. If you ever find yourself in the area, I highly recommend paying a visit to this Whataburger. Not only will you enjoy a tasty meal, but you will also be greeted by the three queens of Whataburger: Ms. Vera, Ms. Jean, and Ms. Judy. They are the heart and soul of this location, and they are the reason why I keep coming back.“
“We tried the pork tenderloin sandwich and it was really good. We went back last night and had a pizza which was very tasty! They also have ice cream which was a added bonus! Oh and a drive-up window! Super thankful for a small place to eat in such a small town as Trimble.“
“I would recommend Nick and Nino's Pub to others. My food was amazing (buffalo chicken mac and cheese). My coworkers got the turkey club with curly fries, the shrimp and scallop pasta, and the BBQ boneless wings with thin fries. The only complaint was that the thin fries weren't to his taste, but everything else was great! I rated the service 4 stars. Our waitress was great (though seemed new) but despite being the only folks in there, our food took longer than I would have expected. It was worth the wait though! We also played a couple games of pool. Their tables are clean and well maintained, and their cues are in good condition.Overall a great experience, especially for being there at 11:30am on a Monday!“
“Love this place. It's a part of the Hilton but honestly has some of the best steak with chimichurri around. Will come to the bar and have a steak, potato, and veg on a weeknight. The tv always has sports (WITH SOUND- a rarity in KC unless local sports teams). Same bartenders so easy to build rapport too. Good spot“
“Excellent choice for dinner. Very welcoming hostess and waitress who take care of you. Atmosphere, service, and food is a 10! Try the pickles and peppers, and chicken Laredo! Ribeye and ribs were top notch. Don’t skip dessert. We will be back :)“
“We ended up at Hereford House by happy happenstance I was meeting Iowa cousins for dinner. Our server Linda was awesome she was very knowledgeable regarding the menu and options. The roll are so warm, soft and delicious with the honey butter. We got a real variety steak excellent, chicken was tender and chili with skillet cornbread and desserts the incredible carrot cake and warm apple crisp. A truly relaxing wonderful dinner.“
“Nice place. We were tired and hungry and didn't feel like getting out that evening. We stayed and had dinner and drinks. Nice people, friendly staff. I had a crispy chicken sandwich with fries. Really good! And a Margarita that was fantastic to top it off!“
“It was my first time to waffle house. It was smaller than I was expecting and we did almost leave. I'm glad we didn't. The server, Laine, was very friendly and the food was great. The prices were very reasonable for the amount that you get. If we're back in the area I would definitely go back.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to the door and no steps in the restaurant. A wheelchair or walker would get around just fine.“
“Awesome attitude of crew, (HAPPY :)), We had alot of extra stuff needed, & server was very polite, very busy w other tables, & we got everything in a timely matter! :) Food was superb ? ?. We never had to ask for refills on drinks. Table was pre-bussed, so we didn't have to talk over dirty dishes. GO to This Red Robin in Liberty! U will Love ❤️ Thank u to our server ( I'm so sorry forgot your name), to the cooks, & mngt. We ate 2 Mondays ago about 7ish. Had 7, including our yr 1/2 granddaughter. Just an Awesome time. Thank you!“
“Wow, the employees at this location are true professionals. Our order was expediently taken, relayed to the cook in the terse language known only to true Waffle House masters. Our meals arrived in a flash exactly as ordered and perfect in every way. Our drinks were refilled before we had to ask and our check was slipped onto the table without fanfare. Amazing service that beats even the most expensive restaurants, at an incredible price.“
“In town from Florida for the holidays, and by chance found this gem of a place. I’m used to Barbecue joints every mile in Tampa, the smell kind of turns the stomach. But I wanted KC Barbecue, Dickey’s did not disappoint!!! The Brisket Sandwich was excellent! Mac and Cheese was just the right size to go with it! The topper was the Chili Cheese Fries!! I will definitely make this restaurant a staple for my travels! The staff is very friendly and the restaurant itself is quite cozy!!!“
“I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the service I received as well as the quality of my cheeseburger and my onion rings. I ate at a Burger Theory one other time and I was very disappointed by that experience. I'm glad I gave it another try. The onion rings were very good.“
“Quesadilla explosion salad, fries and margaritas, were very good. Minimal vegetarian options, but great food and service!Vegetarian options: Salads and some dishes, but have to request no meat.Parking: Easy to find/access off Barry Rd and I-29“
“We have dined in at this location twice in the last couple months (once during a really busy night and once on a slower week night) and both times we were seated quickly, had great servers, our food came within a reasonable time, and we received exactly what we ordered. The bathrooms were clean and they get bonus points for giving my preschooler a balloon on his way out! Overall a solid choice!“
“Food was as always wonderful! shrimp perfectly prepared lobster pasta dish was GREAT wish I would have skipped it and gotten more of the shrimp on pasta that was PERFECTLY COOKED TASTED FANTASTIC the sauce for it was MUCH better than the lobster not saying the lobster wasn't good that sauce wasn't as good as the shrimp one served with a smile pleasant young lady and the atmosphere there was me and 6 other people at 12:30 on a Monday so I'm impressed“
“I ordered pizza and a salad so to be honest it's not a complex thing to throw together. Pizza was ok. I like a really zesty pizza sauce and this was not like that. Although having said that it did not taste bad at all. Just not a favorite. Service was fast and I sat on a bench in back and awaited my order. Hostess(?) was very nice and waited for me to go through the menu. It was late afternoon and I could see people starting to trickle in. Not a huge place. Service was great, food good.“
“Great first impression! I have been driving by this place for some time and decided to give it a go. This will definitely be my new spot for multiple reasons. The service was great! I had a server by the name of Jadan who was very attentive and made sure I was taken care of the entire time! She was training a guy by the name of Johnny and he was very friendly and helpful as well! Johnny will be a great addition to the team there! The value of this place is great! It’s cheaper than top golf and has the same exact vibe. The food here is way better too! I got the wings and they were delicious! Perfectly seasoned, fresh, and fast! I’ve been looking for a place to go that’s nearby my home to where I can go to better my golf game. I’m extremely lucky that it’s only about 6 miles from my home. I will be a regular here for now on.Other pros is that the heaters that they have work very well! It was a little chilly tonight and the heaters were kicking butt and made my experience even more comfortable. It was pretty busy by the time I left and from what I saw all the servers were very attentive at all the booths. The management here is doing something right. Another pro is that it’s very easy to get your balls rather than waving a club to get one out. I had the couches booth and they were pretty comfortable. I would say the only con would be the tee height on the mats are a little high than I would like. I didn’t ask if they have shorter tees, but I will ask next time. I am very big on first impressions and the main reason I will come back is because of the service I had with Jadan and Johnny. Even though I was there by myself they still made sure I was being taken care of the entire duration. This place is of great value! I will be back! Give it a chance!“
“We took our family from out of town to Captains Corner to get some burgers. As an individual who needs gluten free due to food allergies, I was so excited that Captains Corner had a Gluten free option for the bun and fries. It may sound simple, but it means a lot when you are able to feel included in a family meal and be able to eat what you want. The burger and sweet potato fries were delicious. Our family enjoyed their lunch as well. It was the best part of our fishing excursion. Thanks Captains Corner for catering to those with food allergies!“
