Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is a classic neighborhood diner with a nostalgic, relaxed vibe and a calming environment. The food is simple, hearty diner fare with massive portions. The Magnificent Seven combo features fluffy buttermilk pancakes, eggs, and crispy strips of bacon. The chocolate French silk pie is incredibly rich and velvety, topped with real whipped cream. Pies are the best part, including pumpkin pies, and the muffins are amazing and delicious. Burgers are cooked to order, like medium rare, and are delicious. Service is generally excellent with happy servers, though it can be a little slow on an off day. Food comes out hot and quick, but there can be occasional issues with wrong items. The restaurant is clean, and it is a fantastic place for a weekend morning craving.
