“I cannot express enough how amazed I am with the customer service. Yesterday (Super Bowl Sunday—-GO CHIEFS!) I placed an online order. My pick up time was at 5 (earliest I could get because I waited too long to place the order) I arrive early hoping it would be done earlier because I had people arriving at my house and I didn’t want to miss the game. When I arrived it was packed on people waiting. I assumed I was going to be there for awhile so asked if I could order a beer. They got me a beer and a chair. As I sat there for over an hour (it went past my pick up time) I saw all of the employees working very hard trying their best to fill the orders quickly. Some of the customers were being quite rude to the girls up front as the customers were upset their food wasn’t ready. The girls did an amazing job keeping everyone calm they would simply just smile and tell them they are working on it. I was so impressed how these girls handled themselves not one time did I hear them get snippy with a customer even tho I’m sure they wanted to. It was always a smile with a polite response. I was there almost til the end and a guy started yelling at the girls and still it was a smile and polite response. I got my food and made it for the game and the food was delicious as always!“

I went last night (02/26/2026), they told me they had only been open 6 months and had already done events and fundraisers helping the community. With food they make, I can absolutely see it. I had the oxtail sandwich (seasoned and sauced oxtail on a butteredand crisped croissant), beans and candied sweet potatoes. Plus they let me try their smoked cabbage, all fantastic. Top tier food, you spend a little more, but id say its worth it.“

“I had low expectations for this joint as it was recommended to me by a co-worker with pretty bad taste. I tried it anyways and boy was I surprised. This was the best pulled pork I've had and I've lived in KC long enough to try most all of the BBQ.

“It would be nice if worlds of fun could do something about the skunks coming into the park. I have a season pass and I normally see 1 or 2 every summer in the outside eating area. Unfortunately the park is next to wood / tree area. So I'm not sure they can do much about it.“

“One of the few places that could accommodate 10 on same-day reservation. Fairly priced (barbecue is always priced a bit touristy...). Solid portions of local barbecue; FYI a full rack is probably too many ribs. Easy space, and hard to beat within walking distance.“

“My husband and I had the best experience at this restaurant. The food was good as always. During our meal my husband had to use the rest room. He has some dementia and can’t walk very well. Unfortunately we were sitting at a table which was on the complete opposite side of the restaurant from the rest room. The server noticed our dilemma and said she would guide him over to the restroom. She was back immediately. I said, “Oh, he won’t be able to find his way back to this table.” The server told me not to worry about it. The restaurant manager had taken him over and would wait and bring him back. That is undoubtedly the kindest thing that has ever happened to us in a restaurant. Thank you to the wonderful people at the RoanRidge Texas Roadhouse.“

“It was Easter Sunday just before noon. Our group was 13 adults and 2 children. Our server Lane was AMAZING. So pleasant, friendly, was always checking on us making sure we had everything we needed. Not one glass ran empty and was on top of the refills. All our food was delicious. With our large group on an Easter Sunday we could not ask for someone as professional as Lane. Great job Lane!!!!“

“We always enjoy visiting Bar Central before theater performances at the Music Hall, and appreciate being able to make a reservation. HOWEVER, this past Saturday, when we arrived, there was no host/ess, just a sign to seat ourselves. The bar was packed but there was one table for four available so we didn't have a problem. We're hoping this was a one-time thing and reservations will be possible in the future. Thank you.“

“I love this restaurant! The lounge was not available at the connected hotel for renovation purposes so they gave me some free appetizer coupons. The bartenders were amazing and my order came out pretty fast. The chicken wings were so good! There was other things on the menu I wanted to try, but I was so full I could not. They also had a really good Cabernet. I forget what it was called or which one it is I really wish I’d wrote it down because I had never heard of this one before. Is a typical bar at night. And then it’s also where they serve breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was great as well and the service was good in the morning as well! I had an omelette in the morning that was yummy! I’ll definitely come back when in town again!“
