“Stopped and had lunch at this establishment! My husband and I like to try different BBQ places around the KC area. This has definitely been one of our favorites. The amazing customer service started the moment we walked in the door. The selection of menu items were very unique and delicious! After we finished our lunch our server came by with our check and that’s when we let her know that this was our first visit. We were quick to let her know that we were very satisfied with the service and the food. Before we finished paying for our lunch the owner stopped by our table. This is something we do not experience at a lot of places. While we were visiting with him our server came back to the table with a few samples of some of their side dishes. This is what I love about the small businesses that we love to support! See you all real soon at F325 BBQ.“

“An average place that does the job if you cant get down to the city. The burnt ends don’t have the bark, or the bite… it’s just brisket… the jumbo wings are average sized at best, tough skin from the smoking with a good range of sauces. Big price tag however for just ok wings. The ghost pepper sausage has a little spice, not enough to have ghost in the name. Had to get it in a taco for some reason but I think that improves it, on its own it was a little dry. Granted I went late afternoon but that shouldn’t degrade the quality of things that much. The service was great, very friendly. Free cookies were being handed out left and right due to the lack of brisket, turkey, sausage, aaaand the caramel drizzle cake. Overall it won’t wow you but it’s better than airport food.“

“The brisket sandwich with an onion ring was cooked to perfection. And the Mac n cheese was delicious…wished I had gotten the large. Wait time wasn’t too bad either for ordering online. Will definitely come back next time I’m in Kansas CityParking: It is a busy place so parking was a bit tight. But that’s normally a good sign“

“Tried this local Gem for the first time tonight. it was by far the best BBQ my husband and I have ever eaten. The Pork belly burnt ends & brisket were melt in your mouth. The jalapeño sausage were the best my husband has ever had. The BBQ sauce was complimented the meats and was also very good. The street corn salad and lemon slaw were unique and would definitely recommend. Planning our next outing already to this place.“

“Came here for a quick bite before a Kansas City game. A family run restaurant with fresh ingredients and friendly service. They have a variety of food options including sandwiches, bbq and tacos. We tried their pork tacos and the pork was full of flavour and spiced deliciously. You can also tell all the ingredients are fresh. A great place to try if you’re in the area or heading to the stadium as it’s not too far from it.“
“Tried again and couldn’t be happier. Before they changed to serving bbq wasn’t good experience. They changed and have pretty awesome bbq. Make their own sauces and beans are delicious (not too sweet). Tried the cervesa brew- pretty darn good beer. Great service also! Try the brisket sandwich❤️“

“By far the best BBQ we had in Kansas city. I had the jumbo sandwich half brisket half burnt ends with a side of fries and jambalaya. More smoke taste then the other places. My wife got the turkey sandwich which was really good too. Prices were really good and the staff was really nice. We met the owner Joel who was AWESOME and talked to us about bbq and the area. I asked about how he does his bbq and he even showed me the smoker and talked about the process. I found it very interesting and you can tell Joel is a guy who loves doing this and making the people who come in happy. Thanks for the great experience.“

“I finally got to check out Chef J this last weekend. I've had it via catering but I wanted to go and order to see for myself what the hype was about. They do tend to sell out early but we got lucky on this visit with the only sold out item being turkey (which I wasn't gonna get anyway). Ordering is a bit confusing. You walk up and order meats/entree with the first person, move through the line to order sides, then finally drink and paying at the last stop. I decided to go with the MVP 15: brisket, pulled pork, sausage, with a burnt end top on a Farm to Market Potato bun. I'm pretty sure that the burnt end top was missing...at least I didn't find it. The meat was really good. The brisket was a bit dry and needed sauce. The jalapeño sausage was also good but a bit overdone so again it was dry. The pulled pork was good with the mustard bbq sauce (the yellow one). I'd definitely order it again. We tried 3 sides-hickory pit bbq beans, Mac and cheese, and smoked elotes. I'm super picky on bbq beans and I tend not to like too many. The bbq beans here were good. I personally wouldn't get them again but I didn't hate them. The Mac and cheese was pretty average. Again not bad but not the best I've ever had and I'd probably pass on it in the future. My favorite was the smoked elotes. I really liked the flavors and would definitely get these again. Honestly I was a bit underwhelmed. I've seen and heard the hype and while it was good...top 5 is a meh from me. I'll definitely return and if you haven't I'd recommend you check it out.“

“I recently moved from Nevada and was looking for places to eat, I ran across Texas Roadhouse and was so glad because it is my favorite place to get a really really good steak. I was pleased to see the atmosphere is just as inviting here as it is back home. The server Jessica was amazing. Rolls are always fresh and the steaks were cooked to perfection as always. Keep up the great work.“

“So my husband and I don't like to eat out often. Our son is Autistic and it just isn't fun for us to bring him places because he RARELY sits still, and he's a decently picky eater. Well, I'm pregnant with our second baby and happened to be pregnant for my birthday. We invited some family members out with their kids and had a decent sized party to go out to eat since I have been craving a really good steak. Though they don't take reservations, they were able to accommodate me calling early in the week and assist with the steps on how we can ensure enough seats with a lower wait time. I called Sunday morning, and they assisted further, saying we needed to call 2 hours before we'd actually be showing up since the waitlist only accommodates up to 2 hours. Totally fine, and I did that because we had 7 adults and 6 kids ages 5 and under. My husband and I decided to share a "texas sized meal" since I'm in my third trimester and I can't eat a whole lot. It absolutely filled the both of us up! Our son needed a booster seat and sat in that pretty well. The only thing I had a hard time with was how loud it was in the restaurant. Again, our son is Autistic and doesn't like a bunch of noise, so by hour 1, he was ready to go. In total, it took us almost 2 hours to sit, order, get our food, eat, and slightly socialize. It was a very busy Sunday, so I anticipate that would contribute to the long time. I'm sure we will be back again. They're my favorite steakhouse.“

“The Off the Hook food truck was at Briarfest this weekend and my tent mate and I decided to give them a try.We both got the pulled brisket sandwich, which came with chips and pickles. The sandwich was huge! The bun was filled with beautifully tender and flavorful pulled brisket. The sauce was sweet and tangy and there was just the right amount. I understand they have a walk up window in Parkville, and are planning to open a brick and mortar later this year at 152 and Green Hills Rd. Highly recommend you give them a try!“

“Walked in and we were greeted with a friendly smile. I wasn’t hungry but my boyfriend wanted some BBQ. Today’s special was burnt ends. I ordered a lb. of smoked brisket because the smell was amazing in this place. I suddenly became hungry LOL!We ordered side dishes of baked beans and fries. Our meal came quickly to our table. The beans were on point, not sweet and not plain. The fries were crunchy and delicious. The burnt ends were spot on. My eyes were bigger than my stomach but I tried to eat 1/2 lb. of the brisket. I’m saving the other half for dinner tomorrow. We were given two types of BBQ sauce (hot/mild) and pickle spears. The waitress told us she had dessert if we were interested. I could see the Neapolitan cake on the counter. It was a beautiful cake. She sold us on the S’mores cake. The restaurants ambiance makes you want to come back have some drinks, great food, talk to the staff and owner. By the way, every other Wednesday they have Kareoke night 6-10 pm. I’m definitely coming back. Look if you’re not into meat that’s great but if you’re into dessert you have to try this place! The cake maker is listed on here too.Ps. We couldn’t wait to eat and that’s why some of the food is gone.Parking: Plenty of free parking in the front, side, and rear of building.Kid-friendliness: There’s coloring pages for the kiddos and kid friendly food. What kiddo doesn’t love fries!“

“Beef sandwich was phenomenal and a healthy portion. Could use some more sauce, but that’s easily remedied with some extra sauce on the side. Spicy Fries were very good battered fries. Did the 50-50 with onion rings and poppers, both good, though I prefer poppers with cream cheese over cheddar, just a preference. Chocolate pie was good, though the pastry crust was just okay. For all that, I only paid a smidge over $20. Absolutely will return and would recommend.“

“New location, good food, decent service. Kitchen was a little slow, but that may not be their fault. Half of our group got their meals 10 minutes ahead of the others. Our group has call-ahead seating, yet we were wedged in a small-ish table. Manager did come check in on us, which was nice.“

“Wish I could give them more stars, the sauce is so yummy and sweet. The seasonings are delicious, monster fries or cheese fries are a must. I wish they were at 63rd/Troost location all the time and I hope they expand so I can eat here more often. Worth the drive and worth the delivery too!“

“I am not a fan of cowboy deco, or country music so I order to-go, mostly. That said, the food is always delicious at this location and they are good at fulfilling special requests (sauces and stuff on the side so food stays crispy, etc.) to make sure it stays that way. This location is well maintained, clean, and the hosts and wait staff are always friendly!“

“We ate here for the first time during busy Halloween haunt. They were so fast. Our food was perfect. They even had chicken strips and fries for my kids. You can get a 1,2 or 3 meat platter. With the Gold pass you get the one meat platter. I chose brisket and fruit. They had 3 choices for BBQ sauce sweet, original or spicy. I got original. My brisket was so delicious. The chicken strips and fries were awesome. We had some of their waffle fries. My youngest is the pickiest kid ever and tore down the Mac and cheese. The meals average 21.99- 26.99. We have the gold pass with 2 free meals a day so we just got our food scanned and ate. Will definitely eat here again.“

“Going to miss y'all.Loved making my little smokey sliders. Brisket, turkey, fried green beans for crunch, your roll & sauce made the perfect end to a 2 meat combo.Best of luck to everyone there after the close tomorrow. Glad I randomly stopped in today! Tried the 3 meat today, and although delicious, Simecas sausage is too powerful a flavor for any amount of smoke to change.“

“In town from Florida for the holidays, and by chance found this gem of a place. I’m used to Barbecue joints every mile in Tampa, the smell kind of turns the stomach. But I wanted KC Barbecue, Dickey’s did not disappoint!!! The Brisket Sandwich was excellent! Mac and Cheese was just the right size to go with it! The topper was the Chili Cheese Fries!! I will definitely make this restaurant a staple for my travels! The staff is very friendly and the restaurant itself is quite cozy!!!“

“I ordered bbq for 25 from the catering menu to be picked up. I ordered the day before and it was super easy. Guess what? If you call them with a question, they pick up! The food was packaged perfectly, along with serving utensils, plates and individual utensil packs. The food was delicious and the amount was just right. I am going to order for every party. I was actually able to have fun, instead of working myself to death. Thank you, Dickies!!!!“

“The food was good. Not the best I've had, but certainly not the worst. I'm from California so I guess I'm a little picky when it comes to my tacos. I will say that out of the dozens of authentic Mexican food restaurants I've been to, this is the place I keep going back to. There are several places that are close, but I like the food better at Taqueria Mexico Lindo“

“So this is our go to barbecue joint that we like. It is smaller and a little more intimate but the food is top notch.Set in a strip mall it is in a nice location for the hotel guests in the Northland as well as easily accessible from the interstate. The owner is almost always in the kitchen and behind the counter serving up deliciousness. The food is a smokier, semisweet barbecue and cooked to perfection. The portions are just a LITTLE bit smaller than I would expect but the food is quite filling. Our favorite is the two meat dinner with the burnt ends and the brisket. The sides are quite tasty as well. My favorite being the cheesy corn. The staff are all quite friendly and outgoing. Fun to talk to and attentive. The restaurant is always clean and well kept.Vegetarian options: It is a barbecue restaurant so not too many options for a vegetarian.Parking: It is in a strip mall so parking is what it is given that type of location.Wheelchair accessibility: There are tables to get a chair under but the concrete out front leaves something to be desired. No fault of the restaurant but the management company of the strip mall.“

“If you're coming for bar-b-que, my picky husband said it's some of the very best he's ever had and it would be hard to beat. If you don't eat meat or are a pescatarian like me, this is probably not the place for you. My salad was nothing fancy, very basic, yet was $20. Not worth it at all. But my husband loved this place so much that I had to give it a 5 star rating. The drinks from the bar were good and only $9, which I thought was great compared with so many other places.“

“Love the food (especially the turkey). The sides are also amazing (both types of beans, potato salad, Mac n cheese, and coleslaw are my favorites. I prefer sitting at the bar because of the fun, personable, long time bar tender. She always brightens my day. I always bring out of towns guests that want to try great KC BBQ close to home.“
