“Our favorite pizza place for the past few years! I’ve lived in the area for a very long time, but didn’t really even know they existed. We ordered because of a coupon we got in the mail. This has been our go to place for the past several years. I love that they have several different sides, a variety of salads, and their pizzas are delicious. They are always consistent, we’ve never had a bad order from this place.“

“Robert enthusiastically greeted us upon our arrival. He is very personable and professional. We were impressed with his pizza ingredient knowledge, regarding all the different kinds. Our all meat. Pizza was piping hot and delicious! The ingredients were obviously fresh. Both bathrooms were clean. The floor and the tables were spotless, awaiting their next guests. It was quite apparent to us that Robert was genuinely invested in our Jets pizza dining experience.“

“First time at Picklemans. Staff was upbeat and courteous. Great value for the money. Restaurant clean. Bread was fresh, vegetables fresh. Lemonade was awesome. The chips were a brand I wasn't familiar with, but they were delicious. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was that the chicken salad was a bit bland. Otherwise, I would recommend and will go back again.“

“I saw some negative reviews, but experienced the opposite. Three of us dined in there yesterday at lunch. We had 8 inch, 10 inch and 14 inch pizzas plus 2 servings of garlic cheese bread. We all agreed, our pizzas were delicious. The dining area was immaculate and the server was courteous. The food was all prepared to perfection. Those of us eating ranged in age from 20 to 80. I heartily recommend IMO’s and especially this location.“

I was working a private event with Blues Fired Pizza on Saturday and as I was closing the truck door to begin prepping and service, a friendly warm voice from an older gentleman said “Hello!” From the side as he was talking to the event coordinator. After shift I stuck around to wander the area and wanted to check out their truck. I met Steve (that friendly warm voice that had greeted me hours before) and he asked me how I was and how we did. Asked me if I’d like to order anything. I was shocked because I didn’t want to assume I could also order- having not been part of the event. I asked if it was okay and he said “Sure! We have to take care of our own!” With a genuine smile on his face. I heard stories of this industry being a cut-throat business. I was more than willing to pay for my pizza but Steve assured me it was okay. (I did drop a tip in their tip can) 🙂 ***** I had the 8" Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza. Garlic/Ranch Sauce, Chicken, Bacon, Jalapeño, Cheddar Cheese and Mozzarella Cheese. (Pictured) It was AMAZING! I’m so tired of these big chain pizza places and I’m sooo happy that I went to Blues Fired Pizza’s truck! The dough was fresh, soft, and had that fire oven taste and crisp. You can tell the dough is made from scratch. I’ve driven past them numerous times in Kirkwood at their little pizza shack… but never stopped in. I’ll be glad to come by and order for sure! But I'd like to add that their service might even be better. At least it was on a busy Saturday night.
They did a great job advising us up front about the wait, and then checking in with us as we ate our app and salad.

“I used live in Mississippi and I would drive up from Mississippi just to get Faraci pizza and I liked all of their pizzas and salad. All of Faraci’s food on their menu was yummy. That I live in the lake of the Ozarks it’s a lot closer for me and I would drive up and order pizzas And bring them back. The Faraci special, the hamburger bacon, and the pepperoni and pineapple or my favorites but I will eat just about anything from that restaurant. Prices are reasonable and if you don’t think they are, that’s not faraci fault , that’s is JB fault.“

“Possibly the best bowling alley food I've ever had, as well as being very good pizza overall. I had the #2 special, which is basically a supreme without the black olives and sausage. It was very good. My buddy ordered the Southwest Chicken and it was the better of the two. Both pizzas had a ton of toppings. The lady working the register was pleasant and professional. It was pretty slow in the bowling alley when we went, so there was no real delay in getting our food.“

“We ordered two cauliflower crust, all-vegetable pizzas to-go yesterday afternoon. While the pizzas were prepared very nicely (in terms of topping layout and quantity) by an employee, the pizzas were both burned to different degrees - one quite a bit and the other partially. This situation required us to return to Mod Pizza when we opened the pizza boxes at a nearby park. **We want to thank Charlie, Manager at Mod Pizza-Kirkwood, for his courtesy and professionalism yesterday in resolving our concerns.** Charlie and the employee who helped us earlier today made things right for us, and we feel much better about returning to this particular Mod Pizza in the future! We also want to give our great thanks to Mod Pizza-Kirkwood employee Ethan who was outstanding—very conscientious, warm, and professional—during a previous visit to this location.

We very much appreciate Mod’s rich assortment of vegetables and the non-white flour option (i.e., the cauliflower crust).

A few requests for Mod Pizza as a company:

1.) Please train your Staff to consistently uphold standards of courtesy and professionalism. Some are excellent (courteous and thorough) and others are not particularly friendly and don't seem especially motivated to make sure that the food is well-prepared from start to finish.

2.) Please cut your broccoli much larger. For the pizzas prepared for us today, the broccoli was almost completely burned, and inedible. Our experience (in pizza-making at home) is that if the broccoli pieces are large, they won’t get burned.

3.) Please put the raw garlic on your pizza after the pizza is taken from the oven; if the garlic is cooked with the pizza, it comes out charred.

4.) In regard to dietary restrictions:

a.) Please find a way to make your cauliflower crust vegan. We had been advised by another Mod Pizza location that the cauliflower crust is vegan, but it turns out that that other location apparently gave us the incorrect information!

b.) Please offer a vegan, whole-wheat crust option.
