“This may be a little out of the way for most, but this is a MUST go-to bar and grill ?. The burgers are very flavorful and big. They did not skimp on the portions of the BBQ burger and fries or the mushroomburger and onion rings. Did I forget to mention that the bbq burger has sliced ham, onions, tomato, and lettuce. Also ordered the appetizer fried mushrooms. You will need a doggy container to go!“

The District Bar & Grill Bar • $
107 E Wall St, Harrisonville - 6.5 miles

“Having been so excited to have a new restaurant in the area the family and I stopped by on Friday night..The service was awesome And the place itself has a lot of charm being on the old Harrisonville square. Assuming a middle aged woman was the manager or owner as she was definitely nice and was making her rounds. The whole menu was not out yet. But the food we got was just okay. There is no doubt in my mind that the freezer is full here as nothing seems homemade per se. Got the Philly with steak. The steak wasn’t too bad but it might have fillers in it. The onions and peppers were hardly grilled. And it came with crispy frozen fries which are good for what they are of course. Wife got shrimp and they didn’t seem fresh either but the taste wasn’t bad. Kid ate pretzels along with some of our food. Again, probably not a freshly made but freshly hot pretzel served with a runnier just okay cheese dip.The beer was cold and the wife said her drink was good. The price is definitely fair for what it is. But I’d rather pay more for something that stands out more.Might seem nitpicky but it’s just a rebranded Applebees. Nothing stood out. Nothing seems hand breaded or cut fresh if that makes sense. We will give it a few months assuming it lasts that long and will come back to try it out. Am I the problem or are peoples standard just low in Harrisonville? I need to open a restaurant, Lordy.Update- went over the weekend with a buddy to drink mainly but did get food and it was entirely better. The steak was actually cooked great! It seems like the direction of the menu kind of changed. Seems like fresher food compared to the first time“
