“I had lunch here with my friend and it was very, very good. I had the chicken shawarma and my friend had the beef shawarma. Both meals were delicious. I loved everything about this meal. The chicken was so tender and flavorful the beef had a nice little Char on it and tasted fantastic as well. The atmosphere felt more like a lunch type place with all tables and chairs no booths.“

“Recently, I made a wrong turn on Manchester and pulled into a strip mall to turn around, ending up in front of this restaurant by happy accident. 😊 My daughter and I both love Middle Eastern food, so we decided to give it a try. We were unaware they were still 20 minutes from opening, but the owner graciously insisted on us staying and proceeded to make us a pot of cardamom tea while we waited for the grills to heat. He was so pleasant and attentive, and the food was absolutely fantastic! One of the best dining experiences we've had in St. Louis in quite some time! Highly recommend!“

“I ordered online and it was simple and the food was prepared faster than the estimated time. The size of the calzone is pretty big and would have been my whole meal for the day (might even have some leftovers).

I got Meet Me In St Louie and the food itself had good flavour although a little bit salty in my opinion. It was tasty but I don't think I can eat the entire thing in one sitting.

There's plenty of seating available at this location and the service was not too bad. The area gets pretty busy though so I assume the place would get packed during lunch and dinner rush.“

“We visited this store on Sunday afternoon, 3/8 around 3 p.m. . It got very busy while we were there. Ice Cream Sundays, delicious as always. The poor guy working everything was apparently the only employee and was doing a great job. I feel that you should have had as least one other person there with him....and if there was someone in the back the whole time we were there, they did not help at all. This poor guy worked the never ending line, helped Uber drivers with their orders and delivered orders to tables. This guy deserved something extra that day or at least a pat on the back.“

“I have been stopping at China in Bombay every time I pass through the St. Louis area for years, and it continues to be a reliable favorite.

This visit was no exception. The beef pho was outstanding. The broth was deeply flavorful, hearty, and comforting, and the portion size was enormous. Easily one of the highlights of the meal and something I would go out of my way to order again.

I also tried the cashew shrimp and the Szechuan chicken sticks. While I personally would have preferred the shrimp fried rather than stir fried, and the chicken sticks actually served on a stick, both dishes were still very tasty and well seasoned. The flavors were bold and satisfying, even if they were slightly different from what I expected.

The food quality here is consistently excellent, and the flavors feel authentic rather than watered down. A major plus for me is that the food is halal, which makes this a dependable stop every time I am in the area.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The space itself is small, but that is well known, and most people opt for takeout. Even so, dining in was still a pleasant experience.

China in Bombay remains a must stop for me whenever I am passing through St. Louis. Great food, generous portions, authentic flavors, and friendly service. Highly recommended.“

“I purchased 2 large smoothies and 2 bags of chocolate almonds on 2/3/26! And i pulled away a few feet and was putting my straw into my smoothie and put it into my cup holder! Then I was trying to get my other straw out of the wrapper and had my wife’s smoothie between my legs and was having difficulty opening the wrapper that the straw came in and my hand slipped and knocked my wife’s smoothie onto the floor of my vehicle and spilled half of the large smoothie! So I had to go back thru and ordered another large smoothie again for my wife! When I came up to the window I told the very nice young girl what happened and she made me another large smoothie and didn’t charge me for it that was so nice of her to do this for me! Every time I come here to place an order all of the employees are so friendly they have the best smoothie’s and the best employees and service! Thank you so much for doing this for me I really appreciate it you’re so kind!“

“I have been to the restaurant a couple of times and had good experiences. I have even ordered food on UberEats and it was good until today. I ordered the prime sandwich and it is always awesome! The side however was ridiculous. French fries do not travel well and the other sides didn’t sound good so I got the fruit. It was a half of a strawberry, 2 pitiful pieces of pineapple, a blackberry and an orange slice cut up. It was child size portion. I called because I thought it was a mistake. I talked to the GM and he agreed that it was small but that’s the right size because he packed it up. I was shocked that was acceptable to them. I recommend the sandwich, just don’t get the side of fruit.“
