“Okay, I do want to say that with all the 5 star reviews, I had high expectations. I don't think those were met. The crab rangoon was pretty good, the sushi was slightly above average. It filled my stomach and scratched an itch. The presentation was nice.

I just really wish the sushi had more flavor. More sauces, more combinations. I also wish it had come with Miso.

My final complaint is that the service was a little slow.

They were all delicious. I particularly liked how they doubled up the delicious corn tortillas. The exciting spice and the crisp onions or salad toppings made a savory meal. we will be returning! We would recommend this to anyone who enjoys authentic food“

“First time at Failoni’s yesterday. Had pasta and marinara (I know, not very daring). The marinara can stand on its own. Wonderful. Loved the ambiance, neighborhood vibe. We were made to feel welcome right away. Was with two friends and we will be back!!“

“First time and not the last time we dine here, God willing! 🙏🏼♥️🏁 Very busy place, but fantastic service, food, and experience! Josh answered the phone and was so helpful, friendly and welcoming! When we walked in Josh was on it, made us feel we were “regulars”, like he new us personally and Stacey, the hostess that seated us, was equally as welcoming and we were seated promptly. I don’t believe we got our kind servers name, but the beautiful young lady was on it as well. The chefs/kitchen were on par as well, hubby had one of the eggs Benedict with a side of biscuit and gravy, I had the Ranchers beef salad, one of the best beef and blue cheese salads I’ve EVER had, and believe me, I’ve had a “few” 😋🤫😊 Hubs also loved the huge coffee mugs his coffee and my Kahluah/hot chocolate(yum on this damp chilly day)were served in…this where my only complaint would be, my mug was chipped along the rim 😅 All that said, it was just a fantastic way to start our Sunday. Looking forward to sharing this spot with some more loved ones 🙏🏼♥️🏁“

“I was on lunch break was told food would be done in 10 minutes. waited 30. got back to work very late. To top it off the food was disgusting. I'm not sure if there was even a burger patty provided. what was om the sandwich was an over abundance of mayo and mustard like I guess I ordered a mustard and mayo sandwich. It was messy made the bun soggy and just all around gross. I was going to bring all my kidd back to eat and will NEVER EAR HERE AGAIN. A REFUND IS WANTED. 27 DOLLARS FOR 2 BURGERS 2 DRINKS AND 1 FRY AND THE PLAIN CHEESEBURGWR HAD ONIONS ON IT WASNT SUPPOSE TO. NEEDLESS TI SAY NO ONE ATE THEIR MEAL WE ORDERED ELSE WHERE AND I SUGGEST SKIPPING PAST THIS PLACE. NOT WORTH THE TIME IR MONEY WASTED.“

“I’ve ignored this place over the decades, assuming it was a typical dive bar. A friend assured me the food was great and I should try it. Understatement! Believe it or not I’m a hypercritical person but I could find no fault at Michael’s. During both of my visits, everything everyone ordered was cooked and seasoned beautifully. So far I can highly recommend the Greek salad (standout among the large number of Greek salads I’ve tried), the rack of lamb and the galaktoboureko - a house-made dessert consisting mainly of a fluffy custard and phyllo dough. Even the side vegetables and rice were wonderful. The beer and wine selection was good as well and I wrote down my wine to look into buying a bottle. The many servers were extremely busy and professional and our server Amy did a helluva job. Large rack of lamb with sides, entree-sized Greek salad, two beers, wine and dessert for only $80 -which for the quality of our dinner was quite a bargain. Generic name belies quality cooking and serving! Pass it on!“

“Long much needed POSITIVE Post. Please scroll to the ***** to see what I got. I was working a private event with Blues Fired Pizza on Saturday and as I was closing the truck door to begin prepping and service, a friendly warm voice from an older gentleman said “Hello!” From the side as he was talking to the event coordinator. After shift I stuck around to wander the area and wanted to check out their truck. I met Steve (that friendly warm voice that had greeted me hours before) and he asked me how I was and how we did. Asked me if I’d like to order anything. I was shocked because I didn’t want to assume I could also order- having not been part of the event. I asked if it was okay and he said “Sure! We have to take care of our own!” With a genuine smile on his face. I heard stories of this industry being a cut-throat business. I was more than willing to pay for my pizza but Steve assured me it was okay. (I did drop a tip in their tip can) 🙂 ***** I had the 8" Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza. Garlic/Ranch Sauce, Chicken, Bacon, Jalapeño, Cheddar Cheese and Mozzarella Cheese. (Pictured) It was AMAZING! I’m so tired of these big chain pizza places and I’m sooo happy that I went to Blues Fired Pizza’s truck! The dough was fresh, soft, and had that fire oven taste and crisp. You can tell the dough is made from scratch. I’ve driven past them numerous times in Kirkwood at their little pizza shack… but never stopped in. I’ll be glad to come by and order for sure! “Living Room has THE best coffee and breakfast in St. Louis. But that’s just what gets you in the door. What keeps you coming back are the amazing staff, inviting vibes, excellent work stations (for those of us who wfh but need to have people around), and community engagement. Seriously, they have the best cortados, seasonal drinks, and bacon. But they are also vegetarian and vegan friendly and have a great selection of teas and other drinks for weirdos who don’t drink coffee. I love knowing that visiting LR means my money is going to a family-owned small business who invest in their community and put people over profit. 10/10.“

They were running a little behind and couldn't seat us at the time of our reservation (it wasn't even that long of a delay compared to other restaurants) so they gave us a free round of drinks, which was lovely. One note is that if you have anyone in your party with mobility issues who might have trouble sitting at a stool or high-top table, make sure to request one of the booth tables that have normal height chairs with backs.“

“The burger here needs more hype- definitely top 5 in St. Louis. The apple cider vinegar aioli was an original take on a burger sauce and right up my alley.

We also had the pretzel and beer cheese for an appetizer and we both thought it may have been the best pretzel we'd ever had.

The brewery itself is a super clean and nice location with great beer options. Servers were awesome too. 10/10 experience.“

“My sister gifted my husband and I a gift card for Xmas. She works for three kings in south county another establishment with the same owners. The food and atmosphere at Three Kings is so great that we were thrilled to see they’d opened a Mexican restaurant as we love tacos! Just from walking up from the partying lot, I knew it would be great! The outside dining had lots of themed touches that were really nice! Soon as we walked in we were greeted and told of our wait time. we really appreciated that the hostess took our number and called us when our table was ready. We ended up sitting and waiting, we like to people watch :D the decor was gorgeous! I loved the succulent chandelier, the floral walls, the ceramic and the mosaic touches! All of their establishments are inviting and really create a nice atmosphere! Our server Charlie was friendly and knowledgeable regarding drinks and food! We each had a delicious margarita! The chips and salsa were fantastic! My husband ordered a smothered burrito and I opted for a taco plate. I was very impressed with the amount of options on the food especially for health conscious people- vegan, gluten free, etc! I loved that I could mix and match, I had a Baja fish taco and the vegan chorizo. Both were amazing! The slaw on the baja taco was sweet and crunchy! This was my first experience with vegan chorizo and it was the perfect amount of spicy! The plantains were delicious and basically became our dessert! We over indulged too much and skipped dessert, but we will be back soon so that we can order the Churros! Highly recommend checking out Tres Reyes and or Three Kings if you haven’t yet!
