“My family and I had an amazing experience at this Vietnamese restaurant!
From the moment we walked in, the clean and inviting atmosphere set the
tone for a wonderful meal. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming,
making us feel right at home.

The food was absolutely delicious. The Pho Tai was packed with rich,
flavorful broth and fresh ingredients, making it unforgettable. The Bun
Thit Nuong Cha Gio was fantastic, featuring a perfect combination of
textures and flavors, including tender grilled pork, savory egg rolls, and
delicate vermicelli noodles. The eggrolls were fried to perfection—crispy
on the outside and full of tasty goodness—and the dumplings were equally
amazing, bursting with flavor in every bite.

What made this visit extra special was the personal touch. One of the
owners’ children was there playing with paper airplanes, and we ended up
joining in. Everyone was laughing and having such a great time—it felt like
being part of a family.

If you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese food served in a clean, friendly
environment where you’re treated like a guest in someone’s home, this is
the place to go. We can’t wait to come back and try more of their

We started with Tako Yaki and 2 Thai Tea's. Our lunch consisted of Spicy Beef Ramen, Miso Ramen with Pork Belly and finished with Green Tea Mochi.
Everything was infinitely beyond our expectations. The flavors were amazing, portions were generous and the service was stellar.
On top of it all, we were able to do it for under $50! I've spent more on less!“

“Movoc Hot Pot is a really solid option for malatang, especially in the St. Louis area. I was impressed by the selection of seafood (scallops, abalone, mussels) and meats. The pricing felt a bit high at $15.99/lb, but the variety of food options justifies it. The sauce bar was lacking compared to other malatang places. Free rice is available for dine-in and $2 for take-out. There were labels for the ingredients, and ingredients were constantly being stocked. Overall, it's a really solid food spot, and I will definitely be coming back when I'm craving malatang.“

The combination of textures and flavors was a real treat, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients. The pretzel roll on the side was warm and perfectly chewy. “I had to wait 45 minutes for my food, but this wasn't their fault. It seems like an entire catholic high school class got there and placed their orders right before me.

The staff did a FANTASTIC job of making their way through the orders and being polite even though they were dealing with a bunch of teenagers and THREE crummy doordash people who shove their phones in the worker's faces instead of looking at the very well designed order summary board. Kudos to you guys for being cool under pressure. I love getting my daily salad here for lunch!“

“I have been coming to Joy Luck for many many years. In all the times I have patroned this restaurant, it has NEVER disappointed. The atmosphere is classy yet comfortable with the perfect amount of lighting and an aroma of freshly made cuisine that gets your mouth watering as soon as you enter. As for the food; I have occasionally ordered an entrée, which was absolutely perfectly prepared, but I mostly order the buffet. The buffet is quite possibly the best in St. Louis. It continuously has the freshest selections from their salad items all the way to their hot foods. No matter the time or day, I walk out, not only impressed, but left wishing I had not gotten that last plate. It is absolutely delicious. The staff who see you are taken care of are attentive and eager to assist you in any way they can. I never thirst for a refill, that's for sure!! “I personally ate the squash soup with pumpkin seeds in a bread bowl. While the soup is delicious to taste, unfortunately my pumpkin seeds were forgotten. A quick fix.. my sweet husband went up to the counter and returned with a half full small container of pumpkin seeds. The staff apologized profusely and the manager even came out to see if they could do anything else for us. My husband's Turkey with Cheese sandwich combo was delicious and made correct. He loved the Garlic Aoili spread on his sandwich. The atmosphere was quiet as we came after the lunch crowd. We ate inside this establishment.. it's very clean right down to the restrooms.“
