“Pulled into HIVE Cafe with my kids while my car was getting worked on down the street… honestly just needed somewhere to survive for an hour. Instead?? We found a hidden gem. The food was so good my kids went silent… which honestly felt medically concerning at first. The service? So friendly I briefly considered asking if they wanted to adopt us.And the space? Cozy, clean, and cute enough to make me forget I was there against my will. At this point I’m not saying I want my car to break down again… but I’m also not not saying that. 11/10. Would fake a mechanical issue to come back.“

“City Coffee House & Creperie is a great place to escape, the vibe is that of a hidden cafe. The food is always great, I love their lemon curd crepe, opted for the waffle this time to celebrate National Pancake Day (a waffle is just a pancake with cups to hold the syrup I’ve been told). You cannot go wrong with any selection on the board. Fresh ingredients and great staff!!“

“We had one chance to stop for coffee and we chose Shaw's. DEFINITELY recommend. I had a dot cake latte which was limited for the weekend we visited and it was delicious! The line was very long but moved quickly, coffee served even quicker! We weren't able to snag an available table but were happy to take our coffee to go (and went antique shopping down the road)! It made a great combination and we will definitely be back on our next trip to STL.“

“Love this place and their bagels are sooo so good! Sometimes I buy a fresh bagel with cream cheese but usually my boyfriend and I order day old bagels off the too good to go app! They are discounted there, and we have bagels in our freezer throughout the week! I will say, we were told by the front of house woman with the dyed hair that “the too good to go app is to try the restaurant out, and then start purchasing regular bagels” which I absolutely do not agree with, and will continue to buy the discounted bagels weekly unless she can figure out a way to ban me off that app.. The other, younger woman who works behind the desk is absolutely lovely though!!“

“Attended a church conference in St. Louis and was recommended to check out this spot for some really good coffee — and it did not disappoint! ☕️ The coffee was delicious, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. “We stopped in to grab some breakfast because it was close to our VRBO rental and it had great Google reviews. My only complaint was they were out of sausage when we got there. But we just got the bacon breakfast sandwiches. We also ordered a tea and iced latte. Our food and drinks were very delicious! There were only 2 people working and they were busy so it took a little bit to get our food. But it was very good!“

Coffee is pretty consistent (similar to the other locations) with seasonal drinks and house-made syrups.

I believe the food options are the same as well although I didn't try any at this location.

“Living Room has THE best coffee and breakfast in St. Louis. But that’s just what gets you in the door. What keeps you coming back are the amazing staff, inviting vibes, excellent work stations (for those of us who wfh but need to have people around), and community engagement. Seriously, they have the best cortados, seasonal drinks, and bacon. But they are also vegetarian and vegan friendly and have a great selection of teas and other drinks for weirdos who don’t drink coffee. I love knowing that visiting LR means my money is going to a family-owned small business who invest in their community and put people over profit. 10/10.“

“I will be honest: I came for the experience. The one, the original DeMun Kaldi's!!
The pastry I had was great. The espresso was perfectly presented, with chocolate-covered coffee beans and a Gibraltar of sparkling water on a nice wooden tray. The espresso itself, ok, it was not dialed-in. Watery, not well-extracted, a mostly flat flavor profile. But, I am not sure one goes to Kaldi's for their espresso, rather than for their great vibe!“

“This is very much a classic busy office coffee shop that actually does good coffee. The barista’s are fantastic. I travel for work and I’m not here every day. But when I come back after a month or two, they still remember my name and some of them still remember my drink. They are quick, they are nice, and the food and coffee are both amazing.“
