“It's McDonald's. My rating just decreased. I had an encounter with the manager who was aggressive toward me. She asked the number of my order, and when I told her, she said I was wrong. I showed her the number on the bag and my table number. Her response was that I didn't need to talk to her like she was a dumb N-word. She then proceeded to tell me her husband was white and that she was intelligent. I'm not sure what triggered the racial discord. I was frustrated with her for talking over me and insisting I was wrong and then ignoring me and not giving me a cup for my drink. I'm sure that was reflected in my tone of voice. Then, when I discovered my order was wrong, she tried to blame me for giving her the wrong order number. The items in the bag didn't match the receipt on the bag. I think she must have been having a rough day. I heard her also treat a couple of doordashers rather harshly.“
“Came during a weekend morning and the place was packed. However the staff of two absolutely crushed it, keeping up a fast pace of drink delivery and helping customers order. The Ethiopian Macchiato, oat milk, no sweetener, was outstanding.A higher price, but that may just be the normal for independent coffee shops. It was personally worth the premium price.Would love to go back sometime!“
“I love Exit 11. They have THEE best coffee. I need to know what they put in the frapps because they are ??. Would go every day if they were closer. But that just means I get to treat myself here and there. And let me tell you, I definitely look forward to it.“
“Their smoothies are delicious and the consistency is so thick and filling because I don’t think they use ice. The workers are also very attentive and will notice right away when a customer comes in to greet them and get their order. It’s too bad we leave out of state or we would be regulars!“
“This is an amazing find in Frenchtown. The food is great. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The owners are an amazing couple who have led the charge to revitalize Frenchtown and promote commerce and community activities. Great space for a meal or event. They have also done catering orders some corporate lunches I have held and they have been a hit each and every time. Be sure to try the chocolate chip cookies.“
“Recently visited Honey Bee Tea and was thoroughly impressed by their creative and delicious tea offerings. Bought different drinks for the family and each drink I tried was a delightful blend of unique flavors. The atmosphere of the café is warm and inviting. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, happily recommending drinks based on my preferences. I highly recommend their specialty teas for anyone looking to try something new and flavorful. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Honey Bee Tea!“
“Higher Groundz is my favorite and now the only coffee shop I frequent. They have the best tasting coffee, tea, and a variety of other drinks that you’d expect to find from a full-service coffee bar along with the freshest baked items which are made from scratch on site and decorated to perfection. The atmosphere and decor make this the perfect gathering spot for any type of get-together with friends, family, or coworkers. We had our wedding reception here and we loved every minute. One visit and you will certainly become a regular too. They have a rewards program which also is nice touch.Dietary restrictions: They will make your drink to order so if you have dairy restrictions there are other options.Parking: Plenty of parking available won’t leave you wandering for a spot.Kid-friendliness: Kids love the friendliness of the staff and the books and games available.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp makes it easy to get in and out without any hassle.“
“This bakery is located near my home. I've been wanting to stop by here for months. Went for the first time yesterday and it didn't disappoint. The staff were very friendly and welcoming! I can't wait to try more things from here! 10/10!!“
“Gateway Coffee Company is a nice coffee shop. Their coffee they get from Crimson Coffee in Columbus, OH, and their pastries are from a local pastries store. The coffee cake muffins we had were intriguing as they had a salty external layer that was actually nice to the taste buds. I gave it a four star because the coffee and food were good, but there is no kitchen, and nothing is actually made by Gateway Coffee., still a solid place to stop at and pick up a coffee or tea.“
“***updated review***Came here yesterday to pick up some drinks and bakery. The store was neat and clean as always. They were quite busy when I walked in but the owner Ray came to the counter to take my order pretty quickly. I used to come here for the Taro Milk, but my current favorite was the Purple Rice Yogurt with Mango drink. It's delicious and tasted similar like Vietnamese dessert - sua chua nep cam, but in a fruity side. I also got the Purple Rice Yogurt with Blueberry and Pasteis De Nata for my girlfriend, and she absolutely loved both items. My partner got his usual Chai Latte with Oatmilk - very aromatic and the sweetness just right. Bakery and drinks here are not overly sweet. We've been happy with our order and service here.Original ReviewAbsolutely love The Foundry Bakery. We come here almost every week for bakery or tea. My favorite is Portuguese egg tart!!! Customer service here is awesome!!! The owner is super friendly and remember us by name. Highly recommended!“
“Been here a few times. It is a busy saturday morning, and yet the place doesn't feel cramped, isn't loud, and the staff is all super pleasant. The cortado is a sure bet every time. Atmosphere is a great balance between cozy and airy. Patio looks nice, but a little chilly for me.“
“Sucrose is the best bakery in the greater St. Louis area. Period. Their staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The locally roasted coffee (Blueprint) is fantastic. They also have plenty of options for those with dietary restrictions (GF, dairy free, etc.). In the dozens of times I have gone here, I have never had something that was not fantastic. The quiche lorraine, NY coffee cake, blueberry muffins, and macarons are some of my favorites, but that list is much, much longer. Treat yourself and go on Saturday mornings when they really go all out. Bacon, cheddar, and caramelized onion croissants, sticky buns, whole loaves of bread, amazing specials using ingredients from their garden, and so much more. During the holidays they sell whole pies and other desserts. Their apple pie is truly special and I will continue to buy it every Thanksgiving. I have been going there since they were at their old location (and also had a different name- Four Seasons Bakery), and will continue to frequent their establishment until I am no longer physically able. Thank you for all you do!“
“Amazing espresso drinks ( of course!) The best breakfast burrito I've ever had...thin crispy-just the right amount of- wrap with a delicious blend of flavorful and fresh ingredients inside.Dietary restrictions: Good variety of choices for those who are gluten free/need gluten friendly.“
“Love this place! Celebrated a birthday with a cute breakfast turned brunch. The drinks were delicious. The ambience to die for. It is completely IG/TicTok worthy. And the staff was so incredibly nice. Our waiter was outstanding. Probably some of the best genuine service I’ve ever received. I wish I could remember his name to give him his credit. I only deducted a star because they were out of the ingredients dish my friend wanted and the bacon and cheese potatoes were a bit over charred. But overall the food was delicious.“
“Oh my goodness this place is so amazing. I think we will be seeing them grow quickly because it is so fresh and good. Highly recommend if you like bubble tea or even if you don't they have plenty of other drinks. They are so good about letting you have a small sample if you are unsure if you'd like a certain thing. That was me with the Taro which I loved“
“In the Grove across from Urban Chestnut lies a cute newish Latin coffee shop with soft Spanish music playing, clean and welcoming aesthetics, helpful baristas who answered all our questions about the menu, interesting art hun onnthe walls, and even more amazing coffee and treats. I had the Turtle Mocha to drink and it was delicious, along with a strawberry pie that was perfectly sweet and probably would have been even better if I had asked to get it slightly warmed up. My friend had the white tea and had a whole little tea pot to herself, which I loved, and tried the veggie empanada, which she said was the best she's had in St. Louis so far. Great experience.“
“We just stumbled upon this bakery and it has become a (once a week) destination place! Please don't ask me the names of the treats I bought, my brain was lost after the first bite! One of the little cakes I bought today had (had bc I ate it all!) brown sugar crumbles on top with pink grapefruit inside. YES, Grapefruit! The sweet coupled with the juicy sweet-tart grapefruit was perfect! Give it a try! The chocolate chunk cookies, just have your milk ready! The staff make it a bit difficult (in a good way) in picking out a treat. Knowledgable of their products and friendly. I so wanted to do the Kevin Hart line of, "Let me get them all," while attempting to pick just one! I promise you, you will find something yummy to cure your sweet tooth on your first visit!“
“Lovely & Local quintessential penny university?Pulls you in the the STL vibe, a Groove you don't notice until you're in it! The aesthetic is fab, it's a bank built in the 20s with the safe deposit vault to boot! The click! bang! whoosh! along with the fresh roasted coffee aroma are beyond inviting. The baristas are adorbs polite and professional.A necessary stop by when you're on The Hill.❤️“
“Coffee is so good! Perfect balance of sweet with bitter in the caramel macchiato! I consider myself a coffee connoisseur having traveled to Belgium, Italy, and Turkey trying various coffee styles. This coffee from first taste was amazing. This is where they roast the coffee as well. Great atmosphere and customer service! Definitely recommend! ☕️????“
“Visited this little gem in Maplewood two days in a row. Such a quiet and beautiful place located next to a cute little park. We stopped in and sampled their toast trio, donuts, coffee and absolutely loved it all. The staff is incredible sweet and on our 2nd visit they were hosting an open mic for the String Collective. Not only did we get to bask in the sun, we got to listen to incredible performance while eating our yummy treats. We will be back!“
“Peace Love Coffee is absolutely the best vegan restaurant in the entire St. Louis area! I’ve eaten pretty much everything on the menu and most of the desserts. Everything is delicious. I usually order the chickpea of the sea sandwich with a side of chili. The desserts are out of this world delicious and moist. We have brought most of our family here and they love it too! The service is as good as the food. I can’t say enough good things about Peace Love Coffee.“
“This has been one of our regular spots for a long time. Food is great and the coffee is even better. I love the big outside sitting area and the whole atmosphere of the place. We almost always get a scone and one the yogurts each week. The service is always kind and helpful and we have never had anything but a positive experience here.“
“SO CUTE! The iced mint matcha was solid and the inside and outside aesthetic is adorable, clean, with a vintage decor flare. The greenhouse and garden area makes this place more than a coffee shop, but a cute afternoon activity! I’m excited to come back?“
“Such a neat coffee shop. My son and I came here to get coffee. Very unique decor inside. Small menu but everything you could want. It is not like a well known coffee stop so please be patient. Keep in mind it can take some time to get your order. We offered three coffees and it took about 15 minutes. We ordered a vanilla, mocha and cherry flavored ice coffees.“
“Bought a pack of cookies at the Festa Italia. We tried one cookie, then another, then another.....OMG these are some of the best cookies I've ever had. So, of course, we went back to your booth and got another box of cookies. Next time we're in St. Louis we plan on visiting the cafe to buy lots more to bring back home to Chicago.“
“A long assortment of Gelato flavors, and one would not return disappointed.Great place to try affocato given different options of Gelato already present.Other than that, the non-icecream based coffee can be improved significantly.Highly recommended.“
“the friendliest staff you will ever come across . I personally think they beat Starbucks . I have recommended them to everyone I know and I will continue to do so. I am up there enough for all I have to do is call when they answer the phone they know my voice and my number and automatically know what I want. cannot say enough good things about their coffee their food and their staff absolutely amazing“
“Very fast, very friendly. I ordered at the kiosk and it was very easy. The descriptions of their special drinks are a bit confusing to order, but I asked the lady behind the counter and she was able to help me. I got a taro bubba tea and a strawberry cheese tea both were yummy and the bubba had a nice texture“
“The Cup never disappoints! I've been getting my birthday cakes here for years because they are simply the best. They even have birthday candles available when you pick up your cake! I can't even begin to describe the richness, freshness, and moistness of all their products. You just have to try it for yourself! They also serve lots of fun flavors, with both classic and rotating options. Confetti is my absolute favorite classic flavor, and Cookie Dough is my go-to seasonal flavor. Additionally, The Cup makes cupcakes that are safe for dogs, which my labradoodle absolutely loves. The employees are always very friendly, and I especially appreciate how patient they are with me when I'm feeling indecisive about my tough decisions! The interior of the restaurant has seating options available if you're wanting to enjoy your cupcake right away, or they are nicely boxed up if you're taking it for the road. I will always love this place!“
“I've been a loyal customer of The Annex since it first opened in our neighborhood a few years ago. Every other Saturday, I come here for their breakfast burrito that comes with an incredible avocado crema. I did notice that the portion sizes have decreased while the prices have risen. The service is friendly, with welcoming cashiers and baristas at the front counter where you order food and drinks. I've tried their quiche and lunch sandwiches, which were just okay. The Seasonal Ube Latte was amazing, but unfortunately, it's no longer available. Their other coffee offerings are decent. On the pastry front, the blueberry lemon muffin and almond croissant are my go-tos. They often sell out if you arrive late in the morning! It's a cute spot to grab last-minute gifts. They've even started carrying my favorite hummus, which was previously only available at the local Farmers Market. Just note that some items are temporary or seasonal. They have expanded to include an ice cream side and we look forward to trying it some time.“
“Hands down the best crepes in St. Louis!! I love going for breakfast and getting a simple bacon, cheddar, and egg crepe with an iced coffee. They have a ton of sweet and savory crepes to choose from. Our favorite sweet crepe is just simple Nutella, strawberries, and granola topping! If you are going on the weekends expect a line, but it moves fast! All of the staff are amazing and very friendly! After you order you will find a seat or the staff will help you. The ambiance of the restaurant is cute and cozy, like you are at a French bistro! Again, 10/10 would highly recommend!“
“Lovely atmosphere, though it's a bit small. I found seating somewhat limited as business picked up, so be prepared to stand or take-out during busy hours.I ordered a chocolate croissant and an iced matcha latte. The croissant was to die for all around, but I found that the matcha tasted a bit too milky.Overall, would recommend if you're looking for a cozy café experience!Parking: The parking was a bit inconvenient, but that's to be expected when you're in the city. There was a two hour parking lot shared between the local restaurants located behind the café, and some street parking and on-site parking. Nearly all of it was full when I parked.“
“The wife and I love Espresso Yourself. The environment is nice and relaxed so you can enjoy that first sip of the day. They have a wide menu too with lots of fun varieties and flavors. I love that they have popular latte ideas because it helps when I’m wanting to try something out of the ordinary. Their banana fosters cold brew with the coffee cubes is 11/10. We have even gone on busy days (today during the race) and the baristas were super nice, helpful, and greeted us with a smile. For a line our the door, everything moved so fast and our drinks were done quickly. Check this neighborhood spot out for your next pick me up and you will not regret it.“
“I'm checking out this coffee shop on Kingshighway. The interior design is inviting, and I love the details and furniture around it. When I came today, there was only one barista, and a flock of guests came simultaneously, so he was overwhelmed a little bit, and I did not mind waiting to try this new place. Several people are working on their computers, most sitting in the coffee bar area.I would not mind revisiting this coffee shop shortly. It is a cute spot.“
“Grateful to have a Kaldi's on "this side of the river". IFYKY This location is a drive thru. They offer counter service as well, but seating is limited to a two top counter and four outdoor tables. The weather was fantastic today, so I took advantage of the opportunity to sit outdoors. The team was very friendly and helpful when making selections. I'm a fan of matcha after living in Japan. I've found most American versions are cloying and overly sweet loosing the delicate flavor of the matcha. I was able to get an unsweetened version and it was exactly what I've been missing! I paired this with the avocado toast with bacon. This was a hearty mid day meal. I plan to stop back by again soon to try more of their menu.“
“Best ice cream around. This a cozy ice cream shop with a nice selection of unique ice cream flavors along with the usual favorites. Other unique menu items include their spirited shakes and beer floats. The staff was very friendly and served everyone with a smile. ?“
“Such a great place. The drinks are always good, and the atmosphere and decor is so unique. Great place to sit an chill, hang with friends or do work. This location is tucked behind the busy strip, but makes it better because it is quieter. The Iced pearl is one of my favorites, and right now they have the lavender vanilla! I typically get the split cup so I can get two favorites at once. The employees are always friendly and welcoming!“
“Absolutely loved this coffee shop! I had a latte and went back the next day to grab another on my way out of town. It is a little more on the acidic side of roasting though. The staff was fabulous! Food looked good but didn’t purchase. Would highly recommend.Vegetarian options: Lots of milk alternativesDietary restrictions: Great sweetener and milk optionsKid-friendliness: My kids were all happy with their drinks and the staff was super kind.“
“I stopped in here while visiting St. Louis and was very satisfied with the choice! The service was friendly and fast even with a line, my drink was amazing bursting with coffee deliciousness and not overly sweet. Had to buy some beans to enjoy at home too ☺️“
“Visited Road Crew for the first time today! Great, open atmosphere inside. The bar staff was helpful and kind. They responded amicably when I asked for more dairy in my cold brew. The cold brew was strong, bold, and held up to this heat! Bonus fact, I saw TWO dogs during my visit!“
“On a sunday it was pretty busy but still the service was reasonably quick. The tropical smoothie was delicious, espresso not so much, it wasn't a great tasting coffee. The place is really nice, relaxed, with tables both inside and outside to chill in a sunny afternoon. Prices for coffee are a little high compared to other coffee houses in the area, but enjoying your coffee sitting outside in the sun is worth it.“
“Great spot for coffee, avo toast, and/or a pastry. Even better when the weather is good enough to sit outside. A short wait to order and receive your order, but worth it.NOT recommended to work or read a book, as people are aggressively trying to get seating throughout the day.“
“Had one of the most amazing Omelettes I’ve ever had while picking up some equipment downtown today. Don & Lisa are diamonds and we enjoyed every second. If you’re anywhere near here, run, don’t walk & go get a breakfast or brunch. They even had a wonderful coffee and hot sauce bar. Highly recommend the smoked Salmon. Amazing!“
“Wonderful vibrations emitting from inside this wonderful space! A Grounding frequency creates a zen atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a delicious juice, delightful eats or a curated coffee ! Will definitely return, knowing that ALL are welcome HERE!“
“You can order on the self ordering right when you walk in but they also have a counter . The food is then brought out to your table they have additional sauces up front which is a great option for additional flavor . I got a sandwich and tried the Korean hot dogs they were good just wish they were a little more crispy . The drink was also ok.“
“My sister lives in this neighborhood and I love visiting the bridge every time I come by! The drinks and food are excellent, but what I enjoy most of all is the atmosphere from the selection to purchase to the kind staff. The custom drink orders and staff picks are always fun to checkout as well! My favorite is the Abbey drink!“
“Nice coffee house, really cozy and great to work. The attention was nice and quick, coffee was super good and food options were really tasty. Compared to other places in the city, coffee was a little bit pricey but for the place and location is ok.“
“My husband, sons and I were in the area and wanted something tasty and healthy for lunch. We read the great reviews and stopped in. My eldest chose a build your own bowl with their beef and Carolina sauce. He devoured it and asked if we could come back tomorrow! That's a definite vote of confidence from my picky 8 year old! Our youngest gobbled up the GF pancakes and based off his sticky, syrupy fingers, enjoyed every bite. I snuck a bite and oh my gosh, I would eat these over regular pancakes any day! Hubby had a bowl with the vegan chorizo and eggs which was also delicious. I saved the best for last though: my Grain wrap. Holy moly I am obsessed. Again, I'm not GF but love rice wrappers and this was sheer perfection. I'm totally onboard with my oldest son now, I wanna come back tomorrow! Guess we better move closer!“
“Just got food with my partner and the homie with the glasses who worked Tuesday morning was so nice and literally made our day. Didn’t have cash to tip him but hoping he has the best year of his life.Vegetarian options: Has a few options for vegetarians but they are yummy“
“Alot of people leave one star review but don't see how hard these people are working and the people they have to deal with. Everytime I come in i am greeted with a light and joyful atmosphere. Every worker I have talked to has been very attentive and kind when taking my order. I have yet to receive something I did not like at this starbucks compared to many others I have been too.“
