“City Coffee House & Creperie is a great place to escape, the vibe is that of a hidden cafe. The food is always great, I love their lemon curd crepe, opted for the waffle this time to celebrate National Pancake Day (a waffle is just a pancake with cups to hold the syrup I’ve been told). You cannot go wrong with any selection on the board. Fresh ingredients and great staff!!“

When we walked in Josh was on it, made us feel we were “regulars”, like he new us personally and Stacey, the hostess that seated us, was equally as welcoming and we were seated promptly. I don’t believe we got our kind servers name, but the beautiful young lady was on it as well. The chefs/kitchen were on par as well, hubby had one of the eggs Benedict with a side of biscuit and gravy, I had the Ranchers beef salad, one of the best beef and blue cheese salads I’ve EVER had, and believe me, I’ve had a “few” 😋🤫😊 Hubs also loved the huge coffee mugs his coffee and my Kahluah/hot chocolate(yum on this damp chilly day)were served in…this where my only complaint would be, my mug was chipped along the rim 😅 All that said, it was just a fantastic way to start our Sunday. Looking forward to sharing this spot with some more loved ones 🙏🏼♥️🏁“

I orders bottomless drip, enjoyed tasting the varieties, Kaldi was the fav but that's a dark roast (Charbucks has ruined me). 2 fried eggs, though the menu says poaching is an option it was not) and avocado mash. No poaching and a little too much lime on avocado reason for lost star. Will return.“

“Absolutely delicious bagels! We got the marbled pumpernickle bagel and rye with a plain schmear and the rosemary and salt bagel with a scallion schmear.
The bagel flavors were robust and savory. Highly, highly recommend. Service is friendly and helpful for recommendations.“

“I go to Kaldi’s in Kirkwood for the gooey butter cake. The slice is dense and buttery, with a soft, sticky middle that tastes like butter and sugar. I would drive out of state for it. The coffee is strong and worth ordering with the cake. I like the patio, and this is the best gooey butter cake I have found.“
