“I want to start by saying I LOVE GIOIA'S.... However they did something today that is totally wrong. I had placed a four sandwich order with work colleagues. My order was a roast beef sami with AU JUS... with out the AU JUS the sandwich is dry and not very desirable. It was delivered by door dash and the AU JUS was forgotten. I asked for a refund and was told that they are not able to do this as the AU JUS is complimentary. WTF is that !!! You guys are better than this and I would expect for you to make right on a mess up that YOU made. I think it will be a while before I order with my colleagues from Gioias. “What a joy it is to walk into Adriana's when there is no line! (RARE!) That would be, maybe, right after opening, or just after the lunch rush, around 2ish, and things are wrapping up.

I like to call in my order, but still have to wait in line to pay. Part of the meal is soaking in the atmosphere of checkered top tables, and a lot of history.

If you like soup, ALWAYS ASK. The minestrone is out of this world. I think the soups change like St. Louis weather, so you never know what it'll be. Chicken pea was the last one I tried and it was just as awesome as all the others.

If you haven't been here yet, and I mean YET, get yourself in! They do have veggie options, and other items besides sandwiches, but you really should give the sandwiches a try. My go to is the Gorgonzola dip that comes au jus. If I'm less hungry and wanting something less hearty, Sunny's Veggie is a nice choice. The bread is fresh from the Hill, and you can tell. The sesame seeds once warm on the bread with butter and garlic really send you to heaven for just a second.“

“I visited Lions Choice today and was very happy I did. I had not been in awhile because there is not one close to home. But out doing errands I spied Lions Choice and knew that's what I had to have. I had the new Lions Choice REMIX sandwich- roast beef, Swiss, aioli sauce on texas toast. It's an excellent sandwich. Service was great. Location was clean and well managed. “We had lunch at Big Belly Deli today. We shared a Roast Beef on Cheese Garlic Bread (I forget the official name) and it was delicious. House salad was good also, really enjoyed the Balsamic Vinaigrette. Good, quick, friendly service.“

“I got a double cheese burger. First this is one good burger!!! 2nd the staff here is in replaceable. The lady who took my order was so nice the food was hot and fast I think I waited maybe 5 mins for my burger and they were definitely busy but still got my order FAST! This is an easy 10/10 next time I’m going for the fish and chicken (wich smells SOOOO good) check them out I promise you won’t regret it! I only paid 8$ for a double cheese burger fries and a can soda.

I would buy it on every single visit along with my regular orders. -Small portions of Tzatziki, Hummus, Htipiti and Baba Ganoush, with a couple cut up pieces of Pita! Yummmm! So good and so flavorful!
That is a dish I will always crave from here, a sampler of all the yummy spreads!!! Perfect to eat before my burger or salad!

“The sandwiches are very good. The bread is fresher than most sandwich shops. I saw an Italian sub made last time I was there for a Cheese steak and realized the next time it will be Italian.
The staff inside are friendly but not awkwardly so.

“Our first time there! The staff were super helpful and friendly when they saw the confused look on our faces. A unique - but fast and easy - way to order. The food was made perfectly and was delicious, so worth what seemed like a bit of a longer wait for sandwiches.
My only issue was that, for being not all that busy (and three people working), the place was not as clean as I would have expected. Most of the tables were clean, but the floors and windows were pretty dirty. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they had just been really busy and were recovering.
Will definitely go back.

“MOCRA is a one-of-a-kind art museum found on SLU's campus. My sister and I visited on a Friday morning into early afternoon to view their Vicente Telles and Brandon Maldonado: Cuentos Nuevomexicanos and the permanent exhibitions. The pieces were very moving, the hall well-lit and partitioned, and the curator kind and informative.

I'm eager to return for the next exhibit, whatever it will be. I believe they bring in new pieces each semester.

Entrance is free, but a donation is recommended. Not sure what the solution to this is, but parking was difficult to navigate as the museum is on campus, not near any lots. We parked beside the Coronado and walked a quarter of a mile to reach the musuem, using Google Maps to guide our walk.“

“The lobby is closed. You won't know that until you get out of your car, walk to the entrance, and read the small sign. I ended up going through the drive-through. The sandwich was made in a timely manner. I'm not a fan of their bread, but everything else on the sandwich is tasteful. The sandwich is with plenty of meat and cheese.
