“Absolutely amazing. Best sushi in KC and honestly anywhere I’ve been. The whole experience is so intimate and pleasant and calming. The chef and waitress work together and complement each other so well. We did the beverage pairing and I would recommend that. Overall just an outstanding experience and I want to take all the people I’m close to here to experience it! So lucky we have this in KC!“

“I found this place 2 years ago as a quick lunch with a friend who is pescatarian . We definitely found a gem because we’ve been coming here ever since. Their lunch specials are pretty reasonable and you get a lot of food. Brought my daughter for dinner tonight and she loved it. We recommend the caterpillar roll and the spider roll.“

“Came here for lunch and was blown away by how fresh everything was. The sushi was excellent quality, with vibrant flavor and perfect texture. Their happy hour prices make it easy to try a variety of rolls, and there are plenty of unique and creative options that go beyond the standard menu you’ll find at most sushi spots.
Service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is upbeat without feeling rushed. A great place to enjoy top-quality sushi at a great value — I’ll definitely be back.“

“Although the grill is not currently available, the staff was friendly and apologetic (for the grill) the sushi was fresh and delicious.“

“I can’t say I have ever had a bad experience at Mr. Le’s. I honestly never liked any other sushi or pho from another place. Love the atmosphere and always feel so welcome walking in But ever since they have had new ownership I’ve been disappointed. Hours have been cut and now they stop orders 30min before close?“

“My husband had 2 sushi rolls and I had sides of fried rice edamame, chicken breastfeeding. We shared egg rolls and crab rangoon all off the happy hour menu on the weekend! Everything was prepared fresh and the taste/flavors were great! Love and appreciate their happy hour pricing. Thank you to all staff who prepared our great meals! Will be back!“

“This restaurant was always good with food or sushi. It was sitting around the chef so best to go with others and not alone at this establishment. The food is good, as is the service. Is a traditional Japanese menu which they grill at your table. It is pricey so plan accordingly.“

“Food is very good. Area is clean. Could use a little outdoor improvement at the front of the building facing Noland RD to make it more appealing. Maybe some painting of bathroom stalls, etc. Other than that, recommended.“

“This was my first time here, and boy, was it an experience. I walked in with a question before I was seated. I asked if they have tap-to-pay because I lost my card. They said yes and sat me down in the 3rd booth. I looked at the menu, and about a minute from sitting down, the waitress greeted me and asked what I would like to drink. I knew I wanted a beer, so I ordered a Saporro. She brought the drink in a bottle, took one sip, and said, 'I need a mug.' So, I asked for a mug when she brought me some water. She brought a cold mug, and I was ready to order. I ordered a Salmon, Yellowtail, and Veggie roll from the lunch specials menu. I love trying rainbow rolls from different restaurants to see how they differ. I was about 2 pages into the book I brought when they gave me my sushi on a cute plate.
I would say little, but it was a big plate. I open my chopsticks, get about a teaspoon of wasabi, and put it in the sauce dish. I then poured the low-sodium soy sauce on top. I eat the salmon and yellowtail since they are close to me, but I am also saving the best for last. While I am eating the veggie roll, the server checks on me. The veggie roll surprised me; I liked it, but I didn't expect to find a leafy type vegetable in there. I ate the rainbow roll last. It was delicious. I think the crab was a little overpowering, but that is the difference between this one and the previous ones I've tried. Near the end of my last roll, I finished my beer and requested another, but a different type, Asahi. I sat there, drank my beer, and read about 4 pages when the male server or owner brought me a little square coffee cake. I was so happy; I took a bite before taking a picture of it. Two chapters read, and the beer was gone. And only a tiny square of the coffee cake was left. Ate it, swallowed it, reveled in the taste. I got up, paid, used the bathroom, which was clean, and I liked the leaf picture, and then left.
Yes, the food and drinks were great. The atmosphere was clean, interesting to look at, and accompanied by nice music, making it great. The service was excellent; the men and women serving were very attentive, and they provided excellent customer service.
Thanks for being one of the best customer service restaurants I've eaten at in a long time.“
