“If you're looking for a quite place to go during the day, then I recommend you to try it out. They don't sell any food except some frozen pizza's to eat if you're feeling a little tipsy, eat a pizza too before you hit the road, just suggestion, LoL 😆“

“Love this place! After a hard day of shopping at Price Chopper I thought I would stop by for a drink. I am glad I did ! The atmosphere was festive with numerous TV blasting all types of sports. Tiffany the bartender was awesome! Drinks were awesome and on time

“I’m always on the hunt for a place with great potato skins, and Pine Street Bar and Grill did not disappoint. After finding them online, my husband grabbed takeout about a month ago — potato skins, a BLT, and a tenderloin — and everything was absolutely amazing. We finally went in person last night with our son and daughter-in-law, and the food was just as fantastic the second time around. On top of that, the atmosphere has that perfect casual, hometown feel that makes you want to stay awhile. Our waitress (who may also be the owner?) was wonderful — friendly, attentive, and clearly cares about the place and the people who walk through the door. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back!“

“Fun local dive bar. No food but they have a few snacks for purchase, sometimes coffee cake next to the free coffee station and a popcorn machine (not always in use). Couple dart boards in the back. a gold game and a gambling card game too on the bar. Covered deck in the back. Not a lot of options for beers, but good specials and fair prices in general. They make their own moonshine, and it is DELICIOUS. Apple Pie and Peach are king (to be fair I didn't try the other 2), peach tastes like fresh peach nectar. Highly recommend.“

“Dodson’s is a great spot all around. The service is consistently excellent, the drinks are good, and the vibe is relaxed yet lively. There’s always a nice mix of people, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. A huge bonus is being able to order a Cosmos Burger through the window—such a great touch and the perfect late-night pairing with a drink. Definitely a place we enjoy coming back to.“

“Small crowd for a Saturday night, but it made for the perfect neighborhood pub experience. The bartender was waiting on the few tables with patrons away from the bar. She was very pleasant and attentive. They did have a perfect Guinness pour, as advertised. This is a smoking bar. Small menu of typical bar food, which I think is perfectly appropriate for the atmosphere.“

The Burgers still rock and hand cut fries with each order! The pizza I will try out. The beer is Ice cold the place is just! Great hometown atmosphere. Great food. I watched many a royals game here thoughout the years. Even though I don't live in Waldo anymore. I still make the drive to this place no question!“

“Really cute, warm vibey place.
The electric fireplace and couches were pretty cute.
Service was good.
Drinks were strong and good.
Only critique was the music was terrible. Something like a wedding DJ/christian/modern country playlist.
For a place this cool and vibey, you really need a DJ in there or some better playlists.

Other than that, great place, would definitely suggest to friends with some musical tweaks of course.“

“Nice place, good food, and great service but the light fun atmosphere just tanked when the manager walked by. Not what you want to see on a Saturday night at this price point! It was actually awkward to experience the way the manager treated the employees. He literally yelled across the room at the bartender for no identifiable reason. Sometimes it’s watching the way someone treats others that ruins a nice time more than anything. It really is a nice place with good food and great service hopefully this part of the place can change. Appears mine isn’t the first review that involves the manager so hopefully they will fix this issue.“

They put this garlic butter on it. Unlike anything that I've tasted. Ordered all the appetizers. They were good. No pictures taken as they were being passed around our group of 15 fast. Service was fast. I did take the sweet and spicy to go. So delicious. What I like about Southside is that it's very multicultural. So I saw many groups from all types of ethnicities and cultural backgrounds there. People in suits. People in casual wear. People with babies. Its just warm And welcoming. Something you don't feel these days.“

Back again 10/2025. Had the lunch buffet. $14.95 is a good deal for all you can eat! Pizza was fresh this time with plenty of their gooey cheese!!!
