“This place was incredible! I was in town for work and came across this bar and had a great time. Food was great, live music was fantastic and Ben the gm was so helpful and had great recommendations on everything. The service was 10/10. This will be my go to spot when I come back in town.“

“Fun local dive bar. No food but they have a few snacks for purchase, sometimes coffee cake next to the free coffee station and a popcorn machine (not always in use). Couple dart boards in the back. a gold game and a gambling card game too on the bar. Covered deck in the back. Not a lot of options for beers, but good specials and fair prices in general. They make their own moonshine, and it is DELICIOUS. Apple Pie and Peach are king (to be fair I didn't try the other 2), peach tastes like fresh peach nectar. Highly recommend.“

“Fabulous smash burgers and tots!! This is a bar, though. It just sells those food items!!! You scan the qr code to order and pay for your food online, then wait for your order while you grab a drink! It's all in to go bags so you can eat at your seat or finish your drink and take your food home! Water is available to dispense yourself near the pick-up line! My favorite cocktail is the espresso negroni!!!“

“Small crowd for a Saturday night, but it made for the perfect neighborhood pub experience. The bartender was waiting on the few tables with patrons away from the bar. She was very pleasant and attentive. They did have a perfect Guinness pour, as advertised. This is a smoking bar. Small menu of typical bar food, which I think is perfectly appropriate for the atmosphere.“

“Called ahead to make sure the patio was dog friendly. Catered to us and out dog so well! Food (Teriyaki salmon bowl and Baja tacos with blacked shrimp) was great so was the spicy bloody mary and beer (on Pubpass!). Nice cold water for the pup! Would return 😀“
“The night we walked in, this place was dead. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our visit, and the underwhelmed bartender was right there ready to fill our glasses. I like the look and feel of this place, but wonder why it was so dead when the place next door was packed (and too loud for my taste).“

“This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in KC!
I have a lot of pros and zero cons:
- The owners/staff are always so kind and welcoming
- We have tried new dishes each time and the food is always incredible
- Prices are reasonable and you get a lot of food, enough for a second meal at home in my experience
- Drinks are delicious and there is a wide variety
- The atmosphere is peaceful and the lighting is not too bright or too dim
- The art/decor is beautiful and I love admiring it when I go“

“This place is an old friend. I run into people, I grew up in here. Same family runs this place still. That is what makes this institution click.
The Burgers still rock and hand cut fries with each order! The pizza I will try out. The beer is Ice cold the place is just! Great hometown atmosphere. Great food. I watched many a royals game here thoughout the years. Even though I don't live in Waldo anymore. I still make the drive to this place no question!“

“Nice place, good food, and great service but the light fun atmosphere just tanked when the manager walked by. Not what you want to see on a Saturday night at this price point! It was actually awkward to experience the way the manager treated the employees. He literally yelled across the room at the bartender for no identifiable reason. Sometimes it’s watching the way someone treats others that ruins a nice time more than anything. It really is a nice place with good food and great service hopefully this part of the place can change. Appears mine isn’t the first review that involves the manager so hopefully they will fix this issue.“

“My wife and I come here whenever we want an elevated cocktail experience and chill vibes. Kiera and Mad (not sure on spelling) are the creative directors. They make fantastic classic cocktails and their original menu is absolutely outstanding. 20/10 cocktails.
Space and atmosphere: intimate, dim, quiet jams and able to hear each other talk. Amazing for a date night.“

“Went in for buffet. Love the salad bar, but the pizza looked like it was there quite a while! Service good. Will go back and still recommend!
Next trip review. Salad bar still good. Combo pizza could use a little more cheese, but still good!!
Back again 10/2025. Had the lunch buffet. $14.95 is a good deal for all you can eat! Pizza was fresh this time with plenty of their gooey cheese!!!

“This neighborhood bar has become a Waldo staple! The owner and bartenders are super friendly, sling drinks like no other and are so much fun! Stop in and check out this locally owned bar! You won't be disappointed! Patrick's also hosts a .1K the second Sunday of August at the bar, raising money for the Kansas City chapter for Hospice; 15 years and counting! It's a wonderful event raising money through donations, silent actions and tons of cool raffle ticket items! Your donation gets you a tank top or t-shirt and for the event. All the hard work and dedication that goes into it is spectacular! Definitely swing by the next time you're in Waldo!“

“I was in yesterday with my son for the first time and really just had a delightful experience. Music was spot on. Pizza was just as you would expect! Maddie was super kind and even the locals were nice and welcoming. I was over there waiting my turn at the DMV and it made me not mind the wait at all…..almost hoping it was longer.“
