“The food was hot, tasty and plentiful. The service was pleasant and welcoming, and the prices are reasonable and we were not rushed by the staff to finish eating this time. I was grateful. I think that's one of the worst things that can happen when you are dining.“

“Best Chinese food I’ve had in KC hands down. I went into China Chef because of their great reviews. No line, no wait, but it was obvious their take-out business is booming. I had many questions, general things like what veggies come in certain dishes and can they make non-spicy dishes spicy? The extremely patient and kind young man helping me was very knowledgeable, I’m assuming family-love that! I settled on beef&broccoli (spicy), kung pow chicken, beef fried rice, crab rangoon and vegetable spring rolls. Enough food for a 5 person family but going home to just my husband and myself!! It took maybe 10 minutes and I was on my way.Once home we had ourselves a lovely feast! The beef and broccoli and kung pow chicken comes with steamed rice which is a must for me. Husband absolutely fell in love with the fried rice. Both appetizers were awesome after I threw them in the air fryer for a little warmup. We ate Chinese food for THREE days. First of all, it was that good! Secondly, there was that much of it! We’ve had China Chef three or four times now and every time it’s awesome. I’ve settled on spicy beef and broccoli and husbands go to is beef fried rice. However, in my humble opinion, you can’t go wrong with anything there. Delicious food and friendly service!“

“The food is delicious. The prices are reasonable. The environment is not high-end if that is what you are looking for. There is limited seating. Although they have outdoor seatu g when the weather is nice. However it is extremely quiet outside and other diners can hear your conversation unless you whisper. The drinks are amazing. The sushi and food is all made fresh. I would have given the service a 5 star but they have a VERY arrogant and haute young waitress. We moved from her section to the bar and had a much better experience.“

“Being new to Mission, I've tried 4 dishes there now and am very satisfied. The service is very fast, the prices are accurate to the website and take out menu, the food is very hot and delicious and the servings are generous. Pricing is a bit lower than other Chinese takeout places, too.The steamed dumplings are great, General Tsos is not too sweet or overly sauced, the garlic sauce is perfection, and the Singapore chow Mei fun was soo good. I definitely recommend.I didn't care for the chicken fried rice (bland and plain) or the crab rangoon ( had a very sour taste, like spoiled milk and no sweetness).“

“I disliked it personally. But I feel like the complete lack of flavor in the main entree dishes is catering to the elderly, so I'm not going to knock off stars for it. I will knock off 1 star for the overpricing. Only bought 3 basic things with a crab ragoon and 2 egg rolls. Anywhere else the total would have been just under 50. Our bill was $75.The egg rolls and crab ragoon was top tier though!“

“Take out only. They do make fresh to order. Drive thru is a nice feature. They have pretty ok sweet and sour chicken. The crab Rangoon has no crab in it but I actually prefer that because I love them but am allergic to crabs. They do not give fortune cookies here - sad kitten.....Update5.6.24This place has been my favorite spot for over two years. Lately it just isn't the same. Around the time they started closing on Sundays the quality went way down. The taste is just different.“

“I literally just ordered this today for lunch and we order this weekly, if not every other week but you get the point! Le bf prefers no veggies in any of the dishes, which is why their plain lo mein takes the cake for us. We also order a couple crab Rangoons as well as chicken fried rice. With that being said, they've never made a mistake with accommodating our special requests and the food is always fresh on delivery! Simply the best Chinese spot in town. My only issue is I spend up to and between 70 to 100 dollars at a time and when I asked for extra sweet-and-sour sauce they want to charge me for it…wha???? “Today was the first time that my wife and I went to Bo Lings on 135th. I had gone once by myself but that was way back in the late 80s and I really do not remember that experience.But, I can tell you this. Since my wife and I were married in 1986, we have been real fans of Chinese food anywhere we could find it, as long as the quality was good. However, lately I have overheard a few of my friends and coworkers talking about how good the food is at Bo Lings, so I was finally ready to go with my wife and give it a try.The only word that comes to mind is "WOW"!! My wife and I both agreed we had never had Chinese food that good in our lives. I got the General Tso's Chicken and my wife got the Cashew Chicken. We also got an order of 6 crab rangoon, and they were amazing too. That was the most enjoyable and delicious meal we have experienced in a very long time.Before we left I asked to speak to the manager, which for them is usually an "Oh No" moment. But I wanted her to know just how impressed we were with the entire experience. Not only was the food the best we ever had, but the staff was great too. I think during our visit there we had the chance to speak to at least four or five members of the staff that was there today.We have long had a "Favorites" list and it has been a long time since we last added a new restaurant to that list, but we did today. And I would even go so far as to say that it is close to the top. We will definitely be going back again, and I hope very soon.You guys were fantastic and you just won two more faithful customers for your restaurant. You eaned it. WOW!!!“

“We love this local joint! Is the best Chinese food in south Kansas City! And the family is always welcoming and nice! We normally order to go, but the times we stay for lunch special their restaurant is very clean, quiet and welcoming! My daughter love their lo mein, and we love their Beef broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, triple delight and more! If you need a great lunch or dinner, with great flavor and great price, then head to the rice house!!!“

“I stopped in this restaurant to put in a to go order to take home. When I came in the door a young lady (early 20's) was on the phone trying to figure out why her card wouldn't work. After maybe 10 minutes she left, upset that her card wasn't going to work. The woman behind the counter followed her out and asked her if she still wanted the food. She told her take the food and to just come back next time she was in to pay, if she could.I was floored. How awesome. I really liked the food and loved the way they treated a customer having a bad day.“

“This was our first time here. We ended up splurging out (very hungry teenagers) the food was so good and fresh. We ordered General chicken, Crab Rangoon, Shrimp spring rolls, fried chicken and sizzling plate. Everything was delicious. Our general chicken was the perfect amount of spice. The chicken wings were crispy and delicious. My husband and one of my boys got the sizzling plate there seafood were huge. The portion size was big, my son, and I could’ve shared a general chicken First experience here was great. I cannot wait to go back.“

“Consistently the best Chinese food in Raymore in my humble opinion. Our family's go to is the Szechuan chicken, steamed dumplings, crab Rangoon, and a kids sweet & sour chicken for the little guy. It's family owned and operated by great people who are invested in the community. Their establishment is always clean and the food is fresh, fast, filling, and always on point.“

“Is this restaurant perfect? No. Maybe not even good. But! It's certainly the best Chinese takeout this side of KC. This restaurant has been there for me through my ups and downs at 10pm. The food is alright but I really can't complain. It's Chinese takeout. The sesame chicken is really good. The people that work here are very nice people and work very hard. I love that they have a drive through. I'm posting a review because I don't know what I would do if anything ever happened to this place.“

“I don't know where to start. The General Tao's chicken was moist, juicy, fantastic sauce with the perfect amount of heat. The Vietnamese Spring Rolls were tender with the perfect amount of bite without being so fragile they fall apart or so tough you had to gnaw your way through the wrapper. The vegetables were fresh and crisp and full of flavor. And finally the Hot and Sour soup by which I judge all Asian food establishments by. All I can say was it was PERFECT! Plenty of veggies and tofu, meat and the body of the soup was perfectly seasoned and was the thickened exactly how it should be. All I can finish up with is this is the only place I will be ordering Asian food from. If the hot food is this good I can't wait to try the Sushi.“
