“Walking in, the restaurant was much nicer than I expected. We arrived 30 minutes before closing, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The Don Corleone pizza, loaded with processed meats, wasn't overwhelmingly salty. The Pepperoni Pizza was excellent too. Both had a medium-sized crust with a good crunch. Neither pizza was too oily or doughy. If you enjoy dipping in ranch or adding Parmesan, those are complimentary. When it was time to go, they happily boxed up our leftovers, using aluminum foil to separate the two types of pizza we ordered.“

The fried Brussel sprouts were perfectly balanced and crispy with a touch of sweetness. The khao poon was very rich, the perfect dish to warm you up on a cold morning. The star of the show was the whole fried Branzino special, served with rice and stir fried veggies and a smoky-sweet soy sauce. With the Crème brûlée to top things off, this was a meal fit for kings. Whether you need a place to impress out-of-town guests or a place to relax and warm up, Anousone is the place to be.“

Ordered the sausage breakfast sandwich and a 1/2 B&G. The sausage was NOT a preformed pattie, eggs scrambled to perfection and folded over cheese, spring mix, and, I can only guess, an aioli spread. It was a great breakfast sandwich. The gravy was meaty with a nice consistency. We'll be back to try more items soon! I highly recommend giving this place a try.“

“Beyond impressed! My boyfriend's favorite dessert is a key lime pie. He has a son that has a gluten and dairy allergy and his one request for his birthday this year was a key lime pie that he could share with his son. That was not an easy task to locate. Even though it is not something they offer on their menu, Mud Pie Bakery was willing to do a special order for a gluten free, dairy free key lime pie and I must say, we were blown away! It was delicious! The crust was delicious, the filling was tangy, and the whipped topping was sweet and balanced everything else out! Not only that, but it looked beautiful! The best part is that my boyfriend's son got to enjoy a sweet treat that the rest of the family was having and that is something that rarely happens, due to his dietary restrictions! Thank you, Mud Pie, for doing this for us and for being so kind and accommodating!“

“All I can say is WOW! My husband & I went here for the first time last Friday and from the moment we stepped it we had the best dining experience we’ve ever had in the Kansas City area. Our server was Kortney and she was nothing short of AMAZING. She was attentive and made sure we were happy with our experience. Our drinks were always refilled at the halfway point, she checked on us at all of the perfect times and it was clear she was on top of it! She was friendly, attentive, & provided some seriously top-notch service. We ordered the crap dip to start and oh my goodness it was so delicious we were tempted to order another or. The dip was overflowing the bowl and everything was so FRESH. My husband ordered the pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon and he said it was literally melting in his mouth. I ordered the roots burger and was impressed that someone could take a cheeseburger & make it THAT GOOD. We will absolutely be back! From the atmosphere to the service to the food - EVERY single aspect exceeded our expectations. We cannot recommend this place enough!“
