“My kids and I love popping in for treats!! Today, we stopped by and my son (6) dropped his soda trying to get seated. The girls were SO sweet and cheerfully grabbed a mop to clean up and someone remade his drink for him. Of course I felt bad but as we all know… accidents happen and the crew here went above and beyond to make us feel good and still enjoy our experience. 10/10!!! ⭐️”

“Do yourself a favor and check this place out! This is our second time in recent months. We had the beef bulgogi, salmon and a couple sushi rolls. You get a free appetizer that they choose also. For what you get, it is very affordable and you can tell made with love. We'll definitely be back!”

“I’ve only had a chance to eat here one time so far, but I have to say, the strawberry pecan salad was the best I’ve had anywhere. They were short staffed, which any business owner can vouch, it is so hard to find good help, but the owner was there working and went to the back to I assume help prep the food, they were pretty busy, with just two people working and she was kind and friendly the entire time. I think the bad reviews on here are bogus, like not real. There’s no way. Food is great, customer service was great, and it was a stressful time when I was in there, so to me that’s testimony to being able to perform under pressure with the best of them. I look forward to trying their Buffalo burger and some of the other unique menu items. Keep up the good work. California, MO needs you!!”

“Mixed feelings. The buffet was decent. Good selection but Mac and cheese not hot. Husband ordered a burger and tater tot’s. Order got list or mixed up. Manager offered him free ice cream. Finally said something but when he got it the burger was cold. He did not want to say anything. I would still go back though.”

“Taqueria Hernandez is the real deal!! From the quesadillas, to the tacos, to the burrito bowls, to the tamales. This is, hands down, my favorite Mexican food in Missouri!! Real, Fresh ingredients, And amazing flavors all wrapped into a food truck experience!! Not to mention, Leo and his Dad are great guys!! I can't get enough of their food!! Go, tonight!! Unfortunately, Jefferson City's Chinese food scene has regressed, with many establishments serving subpar dishes. In contrast, this restaurant's offerings were remarkable, with fresh ingredients and flavors reminiscent of traditional Chinese cuisine. The chef(s) deserve praise for their dedication to quality and efficient service. The waitresses were outstanding, displaying warmth, enthusiasm, and attentiveness. Their joy was palpable, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. We look forward to returning and appreciate the exceptional service.”

“Came in during a thunderstorm that caught me by surprise on my bike, and the staff was kind to let me camp out for a couple of hours until the storm passed. Sandwich was great, too!”

“We dined outside. We had a view of the lake. It was nightfall really couldn't see much of anything. There were a few little green flys that kept landing on us. Otherwise, the portion size was good and the prices were reasonable. The only disappointment for me was no vegetables on my plate of food, which consisted of steak,rice and cheese. It wasn't spicy at all, which I imagine would appeal to some people.”

“Came on a Sunday morning, all tables where full and there was only one server available, but she was as fast as she could be. We tried the sopa de pollo, sopa de camaron con crema, platanos fritos and pollo con crema. The sopas give homemade vibes, thr platanos were not too greasy which I really appreciate, the frijol was very flavorful. The pollo con crema was not our favorite only because they usee chicken breast but the spices were on point. We also tried their arrayan juice, magnificent! The food took about 30 minutes to get to us from the time we ordered which is pretty fast for a Salvi restaurant if ykyk. The only downside is that once the food is served to you, you will not see the server again because of how busy she is. But you only need to stand and go ask for whatever you need, the girl is really nice. I highly recommend supporting this place!”
