Doug was the gentleman at the window who helped us yesterday 12/23/23 and he was so kind! We had to wait a little bit for the food (which was perfectly fine!), but he apologized and was so sweet about it. Thank you, Doug!
Like other Popeyes I’ve been to since COVID, this one suffers from being popular yet under-staffed. My chicken was excellent, but the size of my usual red beans and rice has gotten embarrassingly small. The Coca-Cola Freestyle machine was out of service, too. But the very harried yet friendly staff made sure I got a beverage. Who knows how long we can go with quick service restaurants seemingly hanging by a thread?
